4. The Perfect Image Of God

What if seeing God more clearly could completely change the way you see yourself and what you believe is possible in your life?
In Episode 4 of In His Image, we’re going to explore The Perfect Image of God and discover why Jesus is more than the One who came to save us. He is the perfect revelation of what God is really like, and He shows us what it looks like for a human being to live in harmony with God.
From the beginning, mankind was created in God’s image and likeness. We were created to represent Him on the earth and express His character through the way we live, love, make decisions, and influence the world around us. But when our concept of God becomes distorted, it affects how we see ourselves, how we interpret Scripture, and ultimately how we live.
Jesus changes all of that.
Colossians 1:15 tells us that Jesus is “the image of the invisible God.” Instead of trying to understand God through religious tradition, fear, or our own imagination, we can look at Jesus and see what God is really like.
And there’s an incredible personal benefit to this: when you see God as He really is, you begin to understand who you were created to be.
Jesus showed us what a person yielded to the Holy Spirit can look like. He demonstrated God’s character, goodness, authority, and love in everyday life. Then He told His followers, “He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also” (John 14:12).
This isn’t about trying harder to imitate Jesus. It’s about taking the limits off God, allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you, and discovering what becomes possible when your heart comes into harmony with the image and likeness of God.
3. Revealing God To The World

What if one of the greatest reasons people struggle to trust God is that they’ve never actually seen Him represented accurately?
You were created in the image of God for a purpose. Genesis 1:26 shows us that humanity was created to represent God on the earth: to make His character and nature visible to the world around us. But we can’t accurately represent a God we don’t truly know.
In this episode, Revealing God to the World, we’re going deeper into what it means to live “in His image.” You’ll discover why faith isn’t blind, why evidence matters, and how Jesus gives us the clearest revelation of who God really is.
This isn’t about trying harder to act religious or presenting God according to our traditions, denominations, or personal opinions. It’s about knowing God as He revealed Himself through Jesus and allowing His love, character, and nature to become visible through the way we live.
When we begin harmonizing our beliefs and our lives with God, something powerful happens. We don’t simply tell people what God is like. They begin to see evidence of Him through us.
You were created to be His representative. Discover what that can look like in your everyday life in this episode of In His Image.
2. What Scares The Devil

What scares the devil?
Most Christians could probably give some kind of biblical answer to that question. But knowing the right answer and understanding what it means in real life are two very different things.
In Episode 2 of In His Image, I want to take you deeper into what it actually means when God says, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion” (Genesis 1:26).
In the ancient world, an image represented the authority of a king. When a king conquered a territory, he would place his image there as a reminder of who ruled that land.
Think about what that means when God says you were created in His image.
You were created to represent Him on planet Earth. You were created to live in harmony with His character, His purposes, and His authority.
And that begins to answer the question: What scares the devil?
The devil doesn’t want you discovering who God created you to be. He doesn’t want you understanding the authority God gave mankind. And he certainly doesn’t want you learning how to live that out in your everyday life.
We can quote that we have the mind of Christ, but if we don’t think like Jesus, that Scripture isn’t transforming our lives. We can know what the Bible says about our identity and authority, but until those truths become real in our hearts, they remain information instead of transformation.
This is where In His Image starts becoming incredibly practical.
God didn’t create you to spend your life trying to become powerful enough to defeat the devil. He created you in His image. The question is whether you will discover what that means and begin living from that reality.
1. Uncovering The Depth Of Our Design

What does it really mean to be created in the image and likeness of God?
In this first episode of my new series, In His Image: The Mystery of God’s Presence, we’re going all the way back to Genesis to look at something we may have read hundreds of times but never fully considered.
Genesis 1:26 says, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion.”
There’s so much more in those words than we may realize.
Being created in God’s image isn’t just about who we are. It tells us something about why we’re here, how we were designed to live, and the role we have in bringing the presence of God into the earth.
We’ll also look at the Law of First Reference and why going back to the first time a truth appears in Scripture can help us understand everything else the Bible says about it.
I’m not interested in discovering information just for the sake of knowing more. Truth should change how we live. It should affect our hearts, our character, our relationships, and the way we treat people.
As we begin this series, I want to help you see new dimensions of truths you may have known for years and, most importantly, discover how to put them into practice in your own life.

What if faith isn't about trying harder to get God to do something, but learning how to participate in what Jesus has already accomplished?
This message, Entering the Exchange, explains one of the most life-changing truths in the gospel: through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, God has already made an incredible exchange available to every believer. The question is, are you sharing in it?
You'll discover why fellowship with God is so much more than believing Bible facts, how to move beyond striving and performance, and what it really means to participate in Christ's finished work. Jim also addresses common misunderstandings about faith, showing why true faith begins with trusting what Jesus has already accomplished instead of trying to earn what God has already given.
If you've ever felt like you're working hard to make your faith "work," this message will help you experience a new level of rest, confidence, and intimacy with God. You'll learn how to stop relating to God through your own efforts and begin living from the victory Jesus has already secured for you.
Watch now and discover how entering the exchange can transform the way you experience faith, grace, and everyday life.
7. Even More Resurrection Life

Most Christians believe the cross is the foundation of their faith. But after years of studying the Scriptures, I've become convinced that many believers don't really understand what Jesus accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection, or why those three days are the source of every victory we can experience today.
In this message, I want to show you why the finished work of Jesus is more than the message of salvation. It is the foundation for healing, freedom, peace, righteousness, provision, protection, and every promise God has made available to us.
One of the greatest mistakes we make is trying to believe God for things Jesus has already secured through His death, burial, and resurrection. When you see what really happened during those three days, faith takes on an entirely different meaning. It stops being an effort to persuade God to act and becomes confident trust in what He has already accomplished.
It's the key to experiencing the power of the Gospel in your everyday life.
Join me as we continue our series, Three Days That Changed the World, and discover why understanding the finished work of Jesus can change the way you read the Bible, pray, and live by faith.
6. Resurrection Life
2026/08/13

For the past several weeks, we've been exploring what I believe is the most pivotal event in all of history, and even more importantly, the most pivotal event in all of eternity. Everything God has made available to us through Jesus is rooted in what happened during those three days between the Cross and the Resurrection, and ultimately His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
Most believers know the story of the crucifixion. Most believe that Jesus died and rose again. But very few of us have ever stopped to ask, "What does God say actually happened during those three days, and what does that mean for my life today?"
That's what this series is all about.
My desire isn't to challenge your faith. It's to strengthen it. Sometimes that means we have to set aside traditions we've accepted without question and come back to the simple testimony of Scripture. My prayer is that you'll approach these messages with an open heart and allow God's Word to become the foundation for what you believe.
The Bible tells us that we are saved by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead. But salvation is so much bigger than simply going to heaven one day. The Greek word for salvation includes healing, deliverance, protection, wholeness, peace, preservation, and every aspect of the life Jesus purchased for us through His finished work.
As we continue through this series, I believe you'll begin to see the Cross, the grave, the Resurrection, and the Throne from an entirely new perspective. More importantly, you'll discover how every aspect of your faith is meant to rest on what Jesus accomplished, not on your performance, your feelings, or religious tradition.
5. The Faith Of Jesus

What really happened during the three days between the cross and the resurrection? More importantly, what made it possible for Jesus to accomplish everything the Father sent Him to do?
In this episode of CyberChurch, we explore one of the most life-changing truths in the New Testament: the faith of Jesus. While most believers focus on having faith in Jesus, Scripture also reveals the incredible faith that Jesus Himself demonstrated as He fulfilled the Father's plan of redemption.
Understanding this truth can change the way you see your relationship with God. You'll discover why your confidence doesn't have to rest on the strength of your own faith, but on the finished work and unwavering faithfulness of Jesus. As this becomes real in your heart, you'll find greater peace, freedom from striving, confidence in your identity, and assurance that God is always faithful to His promises.
If you've ever struggled with fear, doubt, discouragement, or wondered why your faith seems inconsistent, this message will help you build your life on a foundation that never changes. You'll gain a deeper appreciation for what Jesus accomplished during those three days that changed the world, and what it means for your life today.
Join me for this powerful installment in the 3 Days that Changed the World series and discover how the faith of Jesus can transform the way you live, believe, and experience God's promises.
4. Jesus In The Grave

What if one of the most important parts of the Gospel is the part most believers never fully understand?
If you've ever struggled to experience lasting victory, wondered why faith sometimes seems difficult, or questioned whether there's more to what Jesus accomplished than you've been taught, this message is for you.
In this CyberChurch episode, you'll discover why the time Jesus spent in the grave is essential to understanding your freedom, your identity, and the authority you have in Him. You'll see how the cross, the grave, and the resurrection work together to provide everything God has promised through the New Covenant.
When you understand what Jesus actually accomplished during those three days, you'll stop looking at your circumstances as the measure of God's work and begin building your faith on His finished work. That perspective changes how you face temptation, fear, sickness, lack, and every challenge of life.
This isn't just a lesson about what happened to Jesus. It's about understanding what happened to you because of what happened to Him.
3. The Fake News About Jesus' Death
2026/07/23

Most of us have heard the story of Jesus' death our entire lives. But what if some of what we've believed isn't actually what the Bible says?
In this episode of The Fake News About Jesus’ Death, we're taking an honest look at some of the religious traditions that have shaped our understanding of the cross. My goal isn't to challenge your beliefs for the sake of controversy. My goal is to help you discover what Jesus really accomplished through His death so you can experience everything He paid for.
The Bible asks a powerful question in Isaiah 53: "Who has believed our report?" That's still the question today. What you believe about Jesus' death affects far more than your theology. It shapes how you see God, how you see yourself, how confidently you approach Him, and whether you live in freedom or continue carrying burdens Jesus already removed.
So many believers are struggling with guilt, fear, condemnation, and uncertainty, not because God is withholding anything from them, but because they've believed an incomplete story about the cross. When you begin to see what really happened during those three days, you'll discover a God who has always been for you, a Savior who finished the work completely, and a gospel that has the power to transform every area of your life.
Join me as we separate biblical truth from religious tradition and discover why these three days truly changed the world, and why understanding them can change the way you live every day.
2. The Death Of Jesus: The Real Story
2026/07/15
Everything about your faith rests on one question: What really happened when Jesus died?
Most Christians believe Jesus died on the cross, but few have ever taken the time to discover what the Scriptures actually say He accomplished through His death. Too often, we've accepted religious tradition instead of building our faith on God's Word.
In this episode of Three Days That Changed the World, The Death of Jesus, Dr. Jim Richards takes you back to the Scriptures to uncover the real story of the cross. Looking closely at Isaiah 53 and other key passages, you'll discover why understanding Jesus' death is essential to understanding the resurrection, your righteousness, and the inheritance He secured for you.
When your faith is built on what Scripture says was accomplished at the cross, you'll stop relying on religious ideas and begin standing on the finished work of Jesus.
If you've ever wanted a deeper understanding of the cross and why it remains the foundation of everything we believe, this message will help you see the death of Jesus through the lens of Scripture rather than tradition.

1. The Most Significant Messianic Miracle

We're beginning the replay of one of the most important teaching series I've ever shared: 3 Days That Changed the World.
Over the years, I've heard from so many people whose lives were transformed by these messages. If you've seen this series before, I encourage you to watch it again. If this is your first time, you're about to discover why it has become one of the most requested teachings we've ever produced.
Most believers know what Jesus accomplished on the cross, but very few understand what happened from the cross to the throne. Yet that's exactly where the Bible tells us to anchor our faith.
If you've ever wondered why God's promises seem difficult to experience, or why your faith sometimes feels like it's falling short, I want to challenge you to take this journey with me. You may discover that your faith isn't failing at all. You may simply be missing one of the most foundational truths in all of Scripture.
In this first message, we'll begin exploring what happened during the three days between the cross and the resurrection, why those events are central to the gospel, and how understanding them can change the way you read the Bible and the way you walk with God.
I believe this series has the potential to strengthen your faith, answer questions you've carried for years, and help you experience the confidence that comes from understanding the finished work of Jesus.
8. Recovering What You Lost
2026/07/02
Click here for more on this topic and other free resources - https://www.drjimrichards.com
As we wrap up this Rescue & Recovery series, my prayer is that two powerful truths have taken root in your heart. First, I hope you've discovered that no matter how badly you've failed, you can always get up and start again. God is not looking for reasons to punish you, disqualify you, or send you to the back of the line. He is always calling you forward. When God restores you, He doesn't erase your story. He redeems it. Even your failures can become lessons that strengthen and guide you in the future.
In this final message, we'll look at the life of David, a man whose greatest mistakes followed him for years. Despite the criticism, opposition, and consequences he faced, David never stepped away from God's calling on his life. He refused to let his past define his future. His story reminds us that our failures do not have the final word. God's grace does.
If you've ever felt trapped by regret, ashamed of your past, or afraid that you've gone too far to recover, this episode is for you. You'll discover how to rise after failure, learn from your mistakes without being defined by them, and move forward with confidence in God's love and purpose for your life.
I hope this message will encourage you to trust God's goodness, embrace His grace, and walk confidently in the freedom and restoration that Jesus purchased for you. No matter where you've been or what you've done, you can get up, recover, and keep moving forward.
7. Confession - Not What You Think

Most believers have heard about confession their entire lives, but what if one of the most important tools God gave us for freedom has been misunderstood?
In this episode, I’m looking beyond religious tradition and exploring what the Bible actually teaches about confession. Too often, people associate confession with shame, guilt, or trying to convince God to forgive them. The result is that many believers stay trapped in cycles of failure, condemnation, and self-judgment.
But biblical confession is something entirely different.
When you understand confession from God's perspective, it becomes a pathway to freedom, restoration, and transformation. It empowers you to stop hiding from your struggles, face them honestly, and experience the life-giving work of God's grace. Instead of staying stuck in regret, you learn how to walk confidently in the forgiveness Jesus has already provided.
Join me this week and discover why confession is not what you think, and why understanding it correctly may be one of the most powerful steps you take toward lasting freedom.
