Our freedom in Jesus is glorious, but it doesn’t mean we can live however we want. There’s a battle inside every Christian between our sinful desires and God’s Spirit. Sunday we'll talk about some of the ways we can be trapped by them, and how with God's power we can avoid them, make wise choices, and live in true freedom.

This Easter, we explore the one sign that changes everything—the resurrection of Jesus. While many demand proof yet resist truth, Jesus points us to what truly matters: a heart willing to hear. The empty tomb isn’t just a moment in history, but an invitation to experience a living Savior who still transforms lives today. The question isn’t whether the sign was given… it’s whether we’re willing to receive it. Who is Jesus to you?

Truth matters, especially when it comes to your faith. In Galatians 5, we see how even small lies about God can lead people away from Jesus. False teaching has an insidious way of spreading quietly, and if it isn't confronted and dealt with, it can lead an entire church astray. We'll see how holding onto truth keeps our faith strong, our relationships healthy, and our focus where it belongs: on God’s grace and Christ's finished work, not our performance.

In Galatians 4:21–5:1, we learn what it really means to trust God instead of trying to “help Him out.” Taking matters into our own hands often leads to stress, sin, and disappointment. But God keeps His promises in His time and in His way. Jesus came to set us free—not to burden us with rules or pressure. Will we trust Him and live in that freedom, or go back to trying to do it all ourselves?

Paul sounds the alarm: the Galatians are drifting from the freedom of the gospel of grace back into the trap of legalism and people-pleasing. Instead of living to please God, they’ve made a habit of idolizing charismatic, zealous teachers and man-made rules. Are you on guard? Let's look at how we can overcome the temptation to trade the truth of Christ for impressive voices.

In Galatians 3:23–4:7, we discover who we truly are because of Christ—set free from the burden of the law, welcomed as children of God, and given the promise of an eternal inheritance.

We go deeper into Paul's letter, where he shows that God’s promise to Abraham was never dependent on human performance and was never replaced by the law. Long before the law was given, God established an unbreakable covenant fulfilled in Christ—grounded not in our obedience, but in His faithfulness. This message highlights the stunning truth that salvation has always rested on God’s gracious promise, not our ability to check a bunch of boxes.

No one—not even Abraham—was justified by effort, tradition, or religious performance, but by his faith alone. The law was never meant to save us; it was given to expose our inability, humble our pride, and lead us to rely fully on Christ. When we come to the end of our own strength and abandon confidence in our own righteousness, we discover the freedom and blessing that come through faith in Christ—because faith truly begins where man’s power ends.

We can take a lot of pride in the things we do for God—serving, obeying, trying to live the “right” way—and before we know it, we’re depending more on ourselves than on Him. In Galatians 3:1–12, Paul reminds us that the Christian life begins with grace and can only continue the same way, through humble trust in God. This message calls us to lay down self-reliance and keep running the race with the same humility and faith we started with.

After showing how salvation begins by grace, Paul exposes a dangerous drift—trusting ourselves to maintain what Christ alone has secured. This message calls us to place our full confidence, from start to finish, on Christ’s finished work, resisting the temptation to add our own effort where only faith belongs.

When you hear the word "Sabbath," do you get a sense of grateful relief for real God-directed rest, or do you see it as another thing to do...a box to check? We'll explore how the Old Testament Sabbath pointed forward to something far greater: freedom from striving, fear, and legalism through the finished work of Christ. Discover how true Sabbath rest is found not in rules, but in a grace-filled relationship that leads to love, peace, and freedom.

What happens when we place our personal preferences and man-made convictions above the grace of the gospel? This is the danger of legalism—showing how even well-meaning believers can slip into condemning others for external choices rather than standing firm in the truth that we are justified by faith alone in Jesus. How do we remain in gospel-centered unity, humility, and the freedom found in Christ’s grace, not our rule-keeping?

In a world filled with competing voices and distorted truths, the gospel of Jesus Christ must be carefully guarded and boldly proclaimed. The Church is engaged in a real spiritual battle—one that calls us to stay alert and stand firm when the truth is threatened. Will we obediently cherish the gospel of grace and proclaim it without shame? Will we trust that faithfulness to God and His true gospel brings life, freedom, and hope?

The gospel of grace is God’s idea from start to finish, perfected and completed by Jesus Himself. We don't earn it or improve on it. Citing his own dramatic conversion as proof, Paul shows that salvation rests entirely on Christ, not religious performance or tradition. This is truly good news! God saves, God keeps, and God invites us into real fellowship and peace with Him through Christ's finished work alone.

In Paul's urgent letter to the Galatians, he defends the true gospel: saving grace comes directly from God through Jesus Christ alone. Confronting false teachings that place grace in churches, traditions, or rituals, Paul reminds believers that only God can save—and only God deserves the glory. This letter calls us back to the good news that brings real peace and freedom: salvation is God’s gift, not something earned or mediated by people. What a joy!
