DS9 s5e6 "Trials and Tribble-ations"
2026/10/20
In one of the most beloved episodes of Trek (one could argue THE most beloved?), the DS9 crew returns to the past to visit... a BUNCH of old friends. Matt and Andy are not above deep, luxurious feels on this one.
And in possibly one of the most meta, snake eating it's own tail moments in podcast history, the boys take their own visit to the past to call the beagle while watching the actual beagle Andy called while he was calling it.
[Episode discussion begins at 1:52 - it's not the result of the time orb, folks - that's exactly how long it takes!! And for those who practice, Matt drops a PICARD S3 spoiler at :56 minutes in. I remembered!]
DS9 s5e5 "The Assignment"
2026/10/08
Keiko comes back from a work trip possessed and oddly has never been chiller. O'Brien turns to Rom, coming into his own as DS9 character.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:34 (!)]
DS9 s5e4 "...Nor the Battle to the Strong"
2026/09/23
Jake Sisko goes Rambo! If Rambo was a real, actual young man who logically ran away when he was afraid. In this format-breaker, Jake tells us a tale of the trials and emotional ravages of war, as Matt spots Jimmy Oleson guest-starring.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:24, but really around 1:29 after that "Edward Hopper Corner" everybody's been demanding]
DS9 s5e3 "Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places"
2026/09/10
In a crazy twist, DS9 reveals that Dax and Worf...aren't already messing around? And in another crazy twist - O'Brien and prego Kira are super hot for each other? But you know pervy Bashir is gonna - sit on the sidelines and comment? Welcome to Weird Space 9!
[Episode discussion begins around 1:09]
DS9 s5e2 "The Ship"
2026/08/27
A Jem'Hadar warship crashes as we welcome Muñiz, DS9's new beloved member of the crew! Matt, meanwhile, is on his last nerve with Dax's shenanigans, and the Jem'Hadar prove they're the most deadly terrible shots in the galaxy.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:07]
DS9 s5e1 "Apocalypse Rising"
2026/08/08
Starfleet needs the greatest ninja-SEAL infiltration team in the galaxy to go deep behind Klingon lines and expose Gowron - so they send space station manager Sisko, engineer O'Brien, non-changeling Odo and one of the most recognizable Klingons in history to take on the mission! Meanwhile, Dukat Dukats and Gowron Gowrons.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:11:00]
DS9 s4e26 "Broken Link"
2026/07/31
Odo is melting! He's mellllting! And the only ones who can save him are the other creepo changelings. Meanwhile, Garak buckles up to become possibly the greatest side character in all of Trek.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:18]
DS9 s4e25 "Body Parts"
2026/07/18
Keiko's got a bun in the oven... but is it in someone else's bakery? And Quark faces mortality as Jeffrey Combs returns...but which Jeffrey Combs??
[Episode discussion begins around 1:11]
DS9 s4e24 "The Quickening"
2026/07/02
Direct from Andy's parents' apartment, here's your delayed ep of DS9 TNC! Bashir and Dax visit a planet of diseased folks - can Bashir save them? Or will he get too mired in his teddy bear story? We canceled our deaths for you, crew! We were really looking forward to it.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:07]
DS9 s4e23 "To the Death"
2026/06/05
In a plot-packed thrill ride, the crew team up with the Gom Jabbars (or so Jay Leno thinks), Jeffrey Combs continues his unbroken Trek character home run streak, and Matt and Andy pause from asking, "Why isn't Odo using his T-1000 hands?" to ask, "Why did they wait so long to bring Odo in to use his T-1000 hands?"
[Episode discussion begins around 1:25]
DS9 s4e22 "For the Cause"
2026/05/30
An Andy's Theory (or prediction?) finally comes true - SECUNDA!! And is Kasidy Yates up to something? The crew continues to discuss her whether she's onscreen or off.
[Episode discussion begins around 1:38 (!)]

2026/05/15
Jake gets an alien writing teacher who wants to teach him how to be a famous writer and Lwaxana is back in town! Lwaxana and Jake-writing-episode fans rejoice!
[Episode discussion begins around 1:20ish (sort of, there are more digressions after that 🖖)]
DS9 s4e20 "Shattered Mirror"
2026/04/23
After a casual hang with Mirror Jennifer Sisko, Jake and Ben take a day trip back to the Mirror Universe to help MirrO'Brien fix up the the MirroDefiant. Meanwhile, is that Mirror Bashir? Or someone who's playing the villain in a childrens' play?
[Episode discussion begins around 56:00]
DS9 s4e19 "Hard Time"
2026/04/11
O'Brien torture porn in full swing! The Chief is put behind bars... and when he gets out Bashir can't wait to box out Keiko for their reunion! [ENDING WAS CLIPPED, DELETE AND RE-UPLOAD IF IT IS]
[Episode discussion begins around 1:09]
DS9 s4e18 "Rules of Engagement"
2026/03/27
Sisko takes time out of running the station to defend Worf from being too Klingon-y. Is it another great Trek legal foray or will this episode be overruled by Matt or Andy?
[Episode discussion begins around 1:12]
