The Church As Family | Week 4 - Spiritual Families | October 04, 2026
2026/10/05
Every family — and every close relationship — runs on the same four ingredients: doing the inner work, practicing real forgiveness, giving genuine attention, and speaking real blessing over the people you love. In this message, Brook and Elizabeth Mosser share raw, personal stories about therapy, parenting, and repairing broken trust, making the case that grace — not perfection — is what actually builds strong families. Wherever you're at in your relationships, this is a hopeful, practical look at what it takes to love people well.

The Church As Family | Week 3 - A Shared Life | September 27, 2026
2026/09/28
In John 15, Jesus uses an analogy that He is like a vine, and we’re like the branches on that vine. It’s clear that He really does want us to grow in our maturity, and bear fruit, like a vine produces grapes. But real growth — whether it’s in a vineyard or in life — never happens by accident. In this message, we explore how the earliest Christian community built an intentional, shared rhythm of life together, and what it might mean for you and I to let love (not just busyness) shape our priorities today.

The Church As Family | Week 2 - A Genuine Community | September 20, 2026
2026/09/22
It's possible to be surrounded by people and still feel completely unknown. This message explores what it takes to move from “just being in the same area” to real connection. How can we move in our relationships from sharing not just the same space, but sharing our burdens, honesty, and life itself. And we explore how Jesus's own way of asking questions shows us the way forward.

The Church As Family | Week 1 - A New Family | September 13, 2026
2026/09/14
Most of us think of faith as something private — a belief we hold, on our own terms, at our own pace. But Jesus had a different vision entirely. In fact, He called the people who followed him "brothers and sisters" — not a figure of speech, but an invitation into a real family. This message explores why that invitation is so countercultural today, why community is often harder than independence, and why it might be exactly what we're each still looking for.

The Pace Of Peace | Come To Me, Learn from Me and Rest | Sep. 6, 2026
2026/09/09
“So much to do, so little time,” so the saying goes. Overextended schedules, unmanageable calendars, and impossible to-do lists—these are the markers of life in the modern world. But what if the more we try to do everything, the less we’re doing anything truly meaningful? Thankfully, busyness and distraction aren't new, and there is a proven way through - a way to focus attention and experience the gifts of an examined life with God. In this teaching, we explore the ancient antidotes for the aches of our busy and distracted age.

The Gospel of John (Part 2) | Living Water | August 23, 2026
2026/08/24
We all want something — significance, control, answers, a better life. But what if the thing you want most isn't actually the thing you need most? In John 7, Jesus stands up at a crowded festival and makes a surprising offer: not more information, not a better plan, but living water for a soul that's dying of thirst. The only requirement? Just being thirsty.

The Gospel of John (Part 2) | To Whom Shall We Go | August 16, 2026
2026/08/17
We all love the idea of change — the body without the workout, the career without the risk, the marriage without the hard conversations. In this message from John 6, we look at the moment Jesus' own followers heard a hard teaching and walked away. We explore what it actually means to stay faithful to Jesus even when His words are hard to hear. Because following Jesus was never meant to be convenient — but even when we fail Him, He's always calling us back.

The Gospel of John (Part 2) | The Bread of Life | August 09, 2026
2026/08/10
Why does getting exactly what you wanted so often still leave you unsatisfied a few weeks later? This message unpacks the psychology behind why achievement, comfort, and even winning never quite fill the hole they promise to — and turns to Jesus' words in John 6, where he calls himself "the bread of life," to explore what our deepest hunger actually requires. And in it, we find that Jesus challenges us to really pay attention to the difference between what we chase and what will actually satisfy us.

The Gospel of John (Part 2) | Feeding the 5,000 and Walking on Water | August 02, 2026
2026/08/03
Sermon Description:
One of the more famous and recognizable miracles of Jesus is when He fed 5,000 people. But what people might miss is that this is not a one-off event, actually. Long before Jesus fed the crowds, God did the exact same three things for a desperate, wandering people fleeing slavery — and the connections are not a coincidence. This message traces the ancient story of Exodus straight into John 6 to show that whatever you're facing right now — an impossible situation, a nagging sense of being alone, or a season where nothing seems to be growing — deliverance, presence, and provision aren't just historical events. They're patterns of a God who still shows up.

The Gospel of John (Part 2) | The Authority of the Son | July 26, 2026
2026/07/27
Whose voice actually gets the final say in your life — your own instincts, other people's expectations, the pressure to keep achieving, or something else entirely? In John 5, we explore how easy it is to know a lot about God and still keep Him at arm's length, and what it looks like to move from information to genuine surrender. In this passage, Jesus confronts some deeply religious people who are missing the point. Jesus tackles the issue of authority, presence, and the difference between studying God and actually letting Him change you.

The Gospel of John (Part 2) | The Healing at Bethesda | July 19, 2026
2026/07/19
There is a particularly modern packaging of a common human instinct to seek healing through self-help. In fact, the self-help industry is a nearly $70 billion industry. In John 5, Jesus encounters a man who has been crippled for 38 years, who is hoping there’s magical healing power in a pool of water. Through this encounter, Jesus teaches us a number of things. One, that pain makes us vulnerable to false hope (we all have our own "pools" we look to instead of Jesus). Two, that it's easier to explain our pain than pursue healing (often through excuses that keep us stuck). And three, that real healing is experienced through obedience, not passivity. This story also invites us to carry whatever is crippling us directly to Jesus, the true source of healing, rather than settling for the world's substitutes.

The God Who Is | The Everlasting God | July 12, 2026
2026/07/13
Most of us are haunted by something — regret from the past, anxiety about the future, or the quiet fear that we've already missed our moment. In this message, we explore an ancient name for God — El Olam, the Everlasting God — and what it means that the God of the universe is not bound by time the way we are. Through the surprisingly honest story of Abraham, we discover that God's slowness is not absence, and that his pace can actually be trusted.

The God Who Is | The God Who is There | July 05, 2026
2026/07/06
In 2010, a performance artist named Marina Abramović sat silently across from strangers at the MOMA for three months — no words, no advice, no fixing — just sitting with people. And people wept. In a world of distraction and noise, we are starving for genuine presence. And not only that, somehow, simple presence is *healing* to us. And in this talk, we examine a rather obscure moment In the Old Testament in which a man named Ezekiel has a profound experience that reveals that God has been pursuing that same connection with humanity all along.

The God Who Is | The God Who Sees and Provides | June 28, 2026
2026/06/29
In a world where trust is at an all-time low, it's easy to conclude that we're on our own — that if anything good is going to happen, we'd better make it happen ourselves. But one of the oldest stories in the Bible tells a different story. In this message, we explore what it looks like to stop white-knuckling our lives and trust the God who has already proven He provides.

The God Who Is | The God Who Is My Shepherd | June 21, 2026
2026/06/21
Most of us spend our lives chasing the feeling that we finally have enough — the right job, the right success, the right recognition — only to find the emptiness follows us there too. In this message, we unpack one of the most beloved and misunderstood passages in all of Scripture, Psalm 23, and the audacious claim that a life without lack isn't found by getting more — it's found by trusting and following God the way a sheep trusts and follows its Shepherd. So when comparison, ambition, or the quiet ache of not-enough follow us, Psalm 23 has something helpful to say.
