He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, Tim Conway (Carol Burnett Show), four younger brothers and older sister.During his early career, he produced his own internet radio show and thanks to its popularity, he was offered an opportunity to host a radio talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, Conway’s show became famous for providing Southern Californian’s with a wide variety of entertaining topics including live police chases, Hollywood craziness, and sharing current events with a twist of humor. In 2009 when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined forces with KFI-AM 640, the No. 1 news/talk radio station in the country, to continue bringing his unique and comedic perspective to topics like politics, gambling, and more. Fans love his knowledge of history and his down-to-earth take on life; and also enjoy the refreshing levity he delivers.Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on numerous television programs (Fox 11, CBS, NBC, ABC) and has also received various industry honors including: a Golden Mic award, an Edward R. Murrow award, and a Marconi nomination for “Personality of the Year” (2016). When he’s not busy entertaining listeners, he enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charitable organizations, and hanging out at the racetracks!

Electric Dodge Disaster, Customer Service Nightmare — Plus Riverside’s HOV Crackdown and a Pokémon Theft Wave”
2026/02/14
Conway opens with a frustrating nightmare: problems with the new electric Dodge muscle car — the trunk won’t reliably open, the steering wheel vibrates over 30 mph, and customer service/dealership support has been a mess.    Riverside is stepping up enforcement to catch carpool lane cheaters — and the big headline is that 3+ occupants is becoming the new HOV standard in some areas.    Pokémon card shops across Southern California are seeing a spike in thefts as demand (and resale value) for collectibles keeps rising.    And to wrap it up, Mark gets a batch of listener talkbacks — with surprisingly solid tips and suggestions to troubleshoot the car issues.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Ring Privacy Panic, Runyon Canyon’s $1M Bathroom Outrage, Olympic Cheating Drama… New Carpool Crackdown on Cheats!”

Mark Thompson in for Conway. Ring is taking heat after a Super Bowl ad sparked backlash — raising new privacy concerns about home security cameras and what data gets collected.    Monks & Merrill stop by in-studio (weekdays 12–3) with the latest headlines and some classic Conway back-and-forth.    A pricey L.A. parks controversy: hikers at Runyon Canyon are furious over a nearly $1 million restroom installation.    And in the grab-bag of wild news: Olympic drama as the ex-girlfriend of an athlete who admitted to cheating speaks out — plus Conway admits he’s oddly locked in on women’s curling… and Riverside ramps up enforcement to catch carpool lane cheaters.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

‘House Whisperer’ Reveals Wildest Homeowner Requests, the Prefab Housing Boom… and a Beloved Big Bear Leader Dies”
2026/02/13
LAPD’s West Valley Division gets honored today — a shout-out to the officers and staff serving the Valley.  Dean Sharp, “The House Whisperer” (custom home designer and host of HOME on KFI AM 640 — Saturdays 6–8am, Sundays 9am–noon) joins Conway for Romancing Your Home on Valentine’s Day weekend: the most unusual homeowner requests, “open door dumps,” and easy ways to level up your home’s romance factor.  More with Dean on pre-fab/manufactured homes — why they can save a shocking amount of materials, how well-built they’ve become, and why ADUs are exploding across SoCal.  And a sad local loss: Sandy Steers, executive director of Friends of Big Bear Valley, has passed away.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

NASA’s New Moon Countdown, the Solo Dining Debate… and a ‘Bikini Club’ Bust With 17 Arrests!”

Nancy Guthrie Missing 12 Days— Plus Tucson’s ‘Dark Sanctuary’ Secrets, Home Security Wake-Up Call, and Conway Back to Nights!”
2026/02/13
Chip Yost has the latest on the Nancy Guthrie case — she’s now been missing for 12 days, and the pressure is only ramping up.  The conversation shifts to Tucson’s Catalina Foothills and why the area gets so dark at night — it’s considered a “dark sanctuary,” with local rules that limit nighttime lighting near the base of the Santa Catalina mountains.  The Nancy Guthrie story also sparks a bigger discussion about home security, especially for aging parents: what systems make sense, where cameras should go, and how cameras didn’t stop crime so much as expose how much is happening around us.  And Conway’s got a programming update — he’s heading back to nights on the 17th, plus a reminder to catch the show on demand… and a side quest on why so many 16-year-olds don’t want their driver’s license anymore (fear), including Conway’s own first driving test fail.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

US Household Debt Nears $19 TRILLION… A Wearable That Records Your Conversations?!
2026/02/12
Petros admits he won’t be touring Ivy League campuses anytime soon — and the conversation turns into a full-blown reality check on money: U.S. household debt is pushing $19 trillion, and parents feel like they’re being told they should already have a small fortune saved for college by the time their kid hits middle school.  USC becomes the poster child for sticker shock, with its 2025–26 cost of attendance nearing $100,000 — and it’s even been cited as the nation’s most expensive in recent rankings.  Then Tim reminds everyone: the Conway Show is heading back to nights, so it’s time to play the hits and bring back the classic chaos. Would You Melt an Olympic Gold Medal?! Uber for Teens — CA. Blackjack Could Be About to Change Forever
2026/02/12
Would you ever melt down an Olympic gold medal… and if you did, what’s it actually worth? The crew kicks things off with a surprisingly fun (and slightly unhinged) debate, then gets practical with Uber for Teens — how it works, what parents can see, and what teens can do in the app — with Foosh breaking it down from the driver’s seat. Plus, the reality check: only about a quarter of 16-year-olds are licensed now, which leads to a full-on nostalgia spiral about sprinting to the DMV the second you turned 16.   Then it’s weather whiplash: rain hit overnight with more on the way, ground temps holding steady, and a look at how Seal Beach is battling the ocean to protect homes. From there, we ride the wave into a high surf advisory for OC and San Diego — including how insane The Wedge can get — while mountain communities sit in desperate need of snow.  And just when you think you can relax, TikTok drops a new twist: “Local Feed” — a new tab aimed at surfacing posts, businesses, and happenings near you. And for blackjack players in California, there’s a big change coming: the state just approved new DOJ cardroom regulations affecting blackjack-style games (and player-dealer rotation). The rules take effect April 1, 2026, and could mean your favorite “blackjack” tables at cardrooms may have to be eliminated or heavily modified.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Someone Stole a Special Needs Kid’s Trike… and Conway Is Fired Up
2026/02/12
The Conway Show is officially heading back to where it belongs: nights! Starting Monday, February 17, Tim moves to 6–10PM — and the whole crew is fired up because that’s the vibe. Think classic Conway energy… a little “bi-winning” audio, and a whole lot of chaos.  The show hits hard with headlines and heartbreak, including news involving former Dodger Terrance Gore (34) and Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek (48), plus an infuriating story out of L.A. where a thief steals an adaptive tricycle from a 9-year-old special needs boy.  Michael Monks jumps on at 4:20 with a preview of his new show “Monks & Merrill,” also debuting on the 17th — and breaks down the streetlights tax proposal at City Hall that would impact City of L.A. property owners.  Then it’s time to open the toy box: Dead Giveaway, Puppet Heist, and Dilly’s World Open return, followed by Jay Leno stories (including a very NoHo strip club mention) and a warm trip back to Burbank in the ’80s.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

FBI Detains a Person of Interest in the Nancy Guthrie Disappearance
2026/02/11
Tim’s officially going back to nights — 6–10pm starting Tuesday, Feb. 17 — and we celebrate the return the right way with the original “Welcome Back, Kotter” theme performed by John Sebastian.   BREAKING: In the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie (south of Tucson), authorities say a person of interest has been detained for questioning — early reports are still developing, and officials have not fully confirmed details publicly.   Even more breaking: the FBI releases chilling images/video of a masked individual appearing to tamper with the door camera the night Nancy vanished — and investigators say the footage was recovered from previously inaccessible “back-end” data with help from private-sector partners.   Developing updates on the detention, what the newly released images show, and what comes next as the investigation intensifies  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

2026/02/11
