Yesterday was a shocking day for all Torquay United fans, whether they wanted Clarke Osborne out, Gary Johnson out, or not. The Podcasters, Richard Hughes and Guy Henderson, went to the usual Thursday press conference and everything seemed normal. The pod was recorded and edited and uploaded, and was just about to be put on DevonLive when the news broke that Osborne was stepping down as chairman and the club was being put into administration. In the evening, Gary Johnson left - and it was decided we would do another pod this morning. So here it is - Judgement Day II (With Words From Aaron Downes) - which includes a quick chat with interim manager, and lots of stuff about what happens next. What does administration actually mean for a football club like Torquay? Here were are again, the Podcasters sitting at Guy Henderson's table talking about a club going through some difficult times, on and off the pitch. Guy and Richard Hughes have much to discuss then, as the rain pours down in Paignton. Torquay ended that awful run of five defeats with a 0-0 draw at Farnborough - but a point only meant they are seven points away from the National League South play-off places rather than the five they were before. But manager Gary Johnson said in his press call that he now has the team he has wanted all season, with the returns of Aaron Jarvis, Kevin Dawson and Jack Stubbs. However, it promises to be a testing weekend for the manager with a planned yellow card protest at Plainmoor on Saturday happening during the game against Aveley. It has been a pretty rough week for Gulls fans after that fourth defeat on the trot against Slough Town. After a break for a week, it is good to be back - but there's no getting away from it, and Gary Johnson doesn't in his interview this week, Saturday’s showing against St Albans City was one of the worst performances by a Torquay United side for some considerable time.  So there is much to discuss as Richard Hughes and Guy Henderson sit in a car outside the ground and watch the rain fall down and the windows steam up. After that 4-0 defeat by St Albans, Torquay were better at Maidstone United - and there is the hint of a couple of big players being available this weekend, when Slough Town come to Devon. This week's Torquay United Yellow Army Podcast is a bit all over the place with Guy Henderson unable to attend the 12.30pm press call with Gary Johnson, so recording the chat-bit with Richard Hughes before that happened. Which means, when the Podcasters go over the Gary they come back from the other side without knowing what he said.
