Join us at our table as we taste The Plaza’s limited-time Halloween offerings, starting with the delightfully creepy Skull Meatloaf. This thick, skull-shaped meatloaf is served over creamy red-skin mashed potatoes with seasonal green beans, crispy onions, and a Caribbean-style glaze. It may look a little frightening when it arrives, but does the flavor bring it back from the dead? We discuss the portion size, seasoning, crispy edges, and why serving the sauce around the plate may be the secret to making this meatloaf work. Next up is the Devilish Crispy Chicken Sandwich, featuring a generously sized piece of fried chicken topped with ghoulish spiced mayonnaise, red cabbage, and Fresno peppers, all served on a wonderfully soft black kaiser roll. The heat starts gently, but it doesn’t stay that way! We talk about the sandwich’s slow-building spice, super-crispy chicken, tangy cabbage, and whether this Halloween creation crosses the line from “Disney spicy” into genuinely spicy territory. Nine hundred episodes. That’s a whole lot of Disney opinions, vacation planning, restaurant debates, resort stays, questionable decisions, and unforgettable moments—and somehow, we’ve made it this far without completely losing control.
