E557 - Are We Watching a Movie? | Brett Fritz The Conspiracy Theorist
2026/10/01
What if the biggest stories are the ones nobody in the media wants to touch?
Brett Fritz is back with Chad, and this one goes everywhere. A new State Department report on Cuba. Fauci’s pardon. The midterms. Election integrity. Gavin Newsom. Tim Walz. Jimmy Kimmel. Celebrity influence. The deep state. The Illuminati. And Brett’s belief that what America is watching might be a carefully controlled movie.
Chad wants to know whether Donald Trump can actually finish what he started, whether exposing corruption means anything without consequences, and whether rising fuel prices and the cost of living could decide what happens next.
Then the conversation leaves politics and heads straight into sports. Transgender athletes in women’s competition, Caitlin Clark and the WNBA, the decline of baseball, the steroid era, and why Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Pete Rose still belong in Cooperstown.
Brett has theories. Chad has questions. As usual, neither one is holding back.
This episode features an open conversation about current events and disputed topics. The opinions expressed belong to the individual speakers and may not represent the views of our sponsors or partners.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, CamoSpace, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Jack Link’s Protein Snacks, Demerbox, Resistol Hats, Bodyguard Bumpers, Bedslide and ZLINE Appliances.
E556 - Hannah Dasher Doesn’t Need Nashville’s Permission
2026/09/23
Hannah Dasher doesn’t need Nashville’s permission to be country.
Since taking control of her career in 2021, Hannah has built an audience without radio, stayed loyal to the music she believes in, and made a living without waiting for the industry’s gatekeepers to tell her she belongs.
Recorded on the day the world lost Dolly Parton, the conversation begins with Dolly’s influence and turns into a full debate over country music’s real Mount Rushmore. Bocephus, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels, Reba McEntire, Tom Petty, Travis Tritt, and Clint Black all enter the argument.
Hannah also talks honestly about the years she spent chasing the next big moment, the victories she forgot to celebrate, and the songs she refuses to let disappear. She explains why awards and industry approval no longer define success for her and how faith helped her stop comparing her road to everybody else’s.
Chad and Hannah get into songwriting, Jamey Johnson, Brent Cobb, Luke Bryan, Chris Knight, Southern cooking, and the three years it took Hannah to create her cookbook, Stand By Your Pan.
Hannah Dasher knows exactly who she is. Country artist. Songwriter. Author. Entertainer. She built her own lane, and she has no intention of slowing down.

E555 - What Men Talk About at Hunt Camp | Brent Cobb, Part 2
2026/09/19
People who criticize hunting rarely see this part of it.
Brent Cobb calls hunt camp the original social media. A place where people sit around a fire, put down their phones, and have the conversations they cannot seem to have anywhere else.
Part 2 begins with Brent talking about his wife, Layne, and what it takes to hold a marriage together when the road keeps pulling him away. He and Chad get honest about fatherhood, the fear of missing too much, and the loneliness that can follow even the biggest night of your career.
Brent talks about the lessons he is trying to pass down to his daughter, Lyla, why he struggles to call the people he loves most, and how losing someone can change the way you hold onto everyone else.
He also shares the story behind his new collaboration with Zach John King, “Choppin’ Wood,” talks about writing “Tailgate Blues” for Luke Bryan, and picks up the guitar to perform it live in the studio.
The stage might be where Brent Cobb makes his living. Hunt camp is where he remembers what all of it is for.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Demerbox and brought to you by Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Resistol Hats, Jack Link’s Protein Snacks, Bodyguard Bumpers, Bedslide, The Provider Culinary, and TKO Vitality.
E554 - Twenty Years to Get Started | Brent Cobb Part 1
2026/09/15
Brent Cobb has spent nearly twenty years making a living on the road. The longer he does it, the more clearly he sees what it costs.
Brent is back with Chad, talking about the people you bring into your circle, what happens when one person starts dragging down an entire crew, and the strange feeling of watching artists who once came to him for advice go on to play Madison Square Garden.
He talks about leaving Nashville and moving his family home to Georgia, the real story that became “30-06,” and why every attempt he has made to write specifically for country radio has fallen flat.
Chad and Brent talk about their kids, the moments they miss while working, and the guilt that comes with being gone even when that work is what gives their families a life.
There are stories about Jamey Johnson, including the message he sent Brent after hearing Keep ’Em on They Toes, before the conversation turns to Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Chris Knight, and who truly belongs on country music’s Mount Rushmore.
Twenty years in, Brent Cobb is still writing it his way.
E553 - From Writing Hits for Bailey Zimmerman to Opening for Hank Jr. | Demerbox Artist of The Month: Mary Kutter
2026/09/09
Our Demerboxc artist of the month, Mary Kutter, spent years writing the songs other artists sang. Now she has a record deal of her own, a debut album on the way, and opening dates with Hank Williams Jr. under her belt.
She has written songs recorded by Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith, Zach John King, and Alexandra Kay, but her own music comes straight out of the Kentucky stories she grew up around. Bootleggers. Farmers. The opioid crisis. The Cornbread Mafia. The people working hard, making ends meet, and shopping at Walmart.
Mary tells Chad why she gets up at five every morning, what years of Nashville writers’ rounds taught her, and how she learned to stop worrying about the potatoes and make sure the music is still the steak.
They also get into Bocephus, Jamey Johnson, classic rock, surviving the pressure of the music business, and what happens when the songwriter finally steps into the spotlight.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Demerbox, Resistol Hats, The Nashville Palace, ZLINE Appliances, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Napa Valley Olive Oil, Scoreboard Nashville, Mickey Thompson tires and Wheels, Oakley Sunglasses, and LEER Truck Toppers.
E552 - E552 - It’s Never Been More Difficult to Be a Team | Nevada Baseball Head Coach Jordan Getzelman, Part 1
2026/09/04
Jordan Getzelman thought he was going to be drafted. The call never came.
He had already played at four different colleges, struggled, transferred, been released, and repeatedly found himself wondering what came next. He started coaching, took a job washing jockstraps and handing out shoes at Dallas Baptist, worked his way into the Milwaukee Brewers organization, and eventually landed at Nevada.
Now he is 31 years old and the head coach of a Division I baseball program.
Jordan sits down with Chad to talk honestly about his first season leading the Wolf Pack, the expectations that came with it, where the team fell short, and what he had to learn when the season did not end the way anyone expected.
Then they get into what college sports have become. NIL money. The transfer portal. Players being recruited away. Teammates knowing what everyone else is being paid. Young athletes trying to compete while social media gives them an endless list of people to compare themselves against.
Jordan says it has never been more difficult to be a team, but it's his job to build one anyway.
This is Part 1 of Chad’s conversation with Nevada Baseball head coach Jordan Getzelman.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Featherlite of Reno, Napa Valley Olive Oil, The Provider Culinary, Bodyguard Bumpers, Bedslide, Oakley Sunglasses, and LEER Truck Toppers.
E551 - Oklahoma State Just Made NCAA History | Coach David Taylor, Jax Forrest, Sergio Vega & Landon Robideau
2026/08/31
Three freshman NCAA champions in the same season. Nobody has ever done it. Not once in the history of college wrestling. Until now.
Sergio Vega at 141. Jax Forrest at 133. Landon Robideau at 159. All freshmen. All champions. All Oklahoma State Cowboys. And Coach David Taylor, the Magic Man, built every bit of it.
Chad sits down with all four of them and gets into what it actually takes. The mentality. The accountability. What Coach Taylor's culture looks like from the inside. Where these three came from and what drove them to be the best in the country before they were old enough to legally have a drink.
Jax looks like a punk rocker and talks like a philosopher. Sergio is measured until he isn't. Landon came into college with enough credits to already be a sophomore and just upset the defending national champion as a fifth seed in the finals.
And Coach Taylor is exactly the kind of leader that makes you wish you'd had him in your corner at 18.
Chad also wants to come wrestle them, and he's making plans to go duck hunting together. These guys are just getting started.

E550 - Caesars Is Going All In On Rodeo | Tony Marini on Rocker Steiner, December 11th & What Nobody Knows Yet
2026/08/20
Tony Marini has been part of the Reno rodeo world his whole life. His dad volunteered at the Reno Rodeo for decades. He grew up around the cowboys, knew the families, understood the sport. Now he's the guy Anthony Carano tapped to take Caesars Entertainment all the way into rodeo, and nobody's doing it like this.
Caesars Rodeo is launching this December, and the names attached to it will blow you away. Rocker Steiner is the face of it. Dusty Tuckness is part of the team. DJ Silver is doing nightly activations at Caesars Palace during NFR. And December 11th at PH Live is the night everything comes together in one room.
Tony sits down with Chad and holds nothing back. How this came about, why Anthony Carano is the reason any of it exists, what the vision looks like going forward, and why the crossover between rodeo, country music, hunting, and the casino world is more natural than anyone realizes.
This one's worth your time, and December 11th is worth your calendar.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Resistol Hats, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, Bodyguard Bumpers, Bedslide, Demerbox, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, TKO Vitality, Almost Heaven Saunas, and ZLINE Appliances.
E549 - True Crime, Rap Legends & Bitter Takes on Reno | Breakin' It Down with Chad & Alex
2026/08/11
Chad and Alex are back. Chad's been deep in true crime lately, and he can't stop. The Jinx. Making a Murderer. A 70-year-old man who got away with murder for 50 years until his DNA showed up on a baseball hat at the scene. From there it turns into rap, net worths, who stayed relevant, and why Dre is in a category nobody else is in. Then Reno traffic, bad bartenders, and Pyramid Highway. Chad might also be a golfer now.
Just another Breakin' It Down.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Demerbox, Resistol Hats, ZLINE Appliances, Almost Heaven Saunas, Scoreboard Nashville, The Nashville Palace, Cowboy's Choice Horse Feeds, and Jack Link's Protein Snacks.
E548 - Nebraska to Texas Part 2 | Gruene Hall, Hayes Carll, Luckenbach & the Heart of Texas Music
2026/08/06
Chad and Brittany leave Austin and end up five minutes from Gruene Hall. Hayes Carll is recording a live album and Chad has a request list ready before they even walk in.
He talks about what it means to stand in a room where George Strait shot his first album cover, and Willie Nelson has played. Hayes Carll takes the stage and the rest of the night disappears.
From there it's Luckenbach on a Monday with old Texans playing Guy Clark songs in the courtyard, the Albert Dance Hall on the way to camp, San Antonio, the Pearl District, Hotel Emma, and oysters on the Riverwalk.
Chad also gets into Hayes Carll as a songwriter, Jerry Jeff Walker and what Luckenbach means to him, Chris Knight being made an honorary Texan, and why he thinks songwriting is one of the greatest art forms alive. It's another awesome insight into a life that just ain't for everybody! We hope you enjoy!
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Demerbox, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, The Nashville Palace, Scoreboard Nashville, ZLINE Appliances, Bedslide, Resistol Hats, and TKO Vitality.
E547 - Nebraska to Texas Part 1 | Volleyball Camps, Ted Nugent, Uncle Lazer & Nether Hour
2026/07/30
Chad's back with part one of the Nebraska to Texas trip.
It starts in Lincoln at the University of Nebraska Cornhusker volleyball camp, where Alyssa held her own against some serious competition and walked away with more to work on and more to be proud of. From there it's Waco and the Baylor Bears elite volleyball camp, Terry Black's barbecue, and dinner with Ted Nugent and Shemane that was supposed to last an hour and went almost two.
Then Austin. Lazer's Drunk Uncles podcast, Joe DeRosa, the World Cup at a bar packed with 4,000 people, Dos Equis with lime and salt, and a band called Nether Hour that Chad can't stop talking about. Bluesy, soulful, a little Van Morrison, a little Stapleton. Go find them.
Chad gets into real talk about raising an athlete, what D1 recruiting actually looks like, the mindset it takes to keep working when you see how good the competition really is, and why he wouldn't change any of it.
Part 2 is coming! Get ready for Gruene Hall, Hayes Carl, Luckenbach, Compadres in Bertie, and Axis deer hunting with Federal Premium.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by LEER Truck Toppers, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, Bodyguard Bumpers, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Demerbox, Oakley Sunglasses, and Napa Valley Olive Oil.
E546 - Conspiracy Theories with Brett Fritz and The Crew | Is The Media Burying All of It? — Part 2
2026/07/23
Part 2 picks up right where Part 1 left off, and it gets more heated.
The Iran deal takes center stage. Alex is over it. Brett explains the business strategy behind it and why $300 billion isn't just a handout. Chad defends Trump harder than anyone in the room expected. Clay drops the thought-provoking line no one wants to believe... maybe the swamp is just deeper than anyone thought.
They get into Ukraine disappearing from the news cycle entirely, the currency revaluation theory, why Republicans might not win another presidency for a long time if nothing happens before November, and what the next two and a half years look like if the midterms go sideways.
Brett's giving Trump until October. That's the deadline, and everything hinges on it.
This is our favorite series to keep us in the know, and keep your mind open! Enjoy!
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Demerbox, LEER Truck Toppers, Napa Valley Olive Oil, TKO Vitality, Oakley Sunglasses, and Corning Ford.
E545 - Conspiracy Theories with Brett Fritz and The Crew | Is The Media Burying All of It? — Part 1
2026/07/16
Chad's got Brett Fritz, Alex Crosby, and Clay Belding in the studio and they're not holding back.
Brett still believes Trump was put here for a reason and that we're watching a movie play out in real time. The central casting references, the replacements, the mask theory, all of it. Chad's defending Trump to his own crew. Clay's quietly skeptical. And Alex is just trying to get a word in.
They cover Q theory, Obama's presidential library and who paid for it, Epstein files and why they fizzled, the Joan Rivers theory, vaccine patents predating COVID, Newsom fraud, Minnesota learning centers, birthright citizenship, and what Justice Thomas wrote in his 91-page dissent that nobody in the media talked about.
And then Brett lands on the question that closes out Part 1 — is any of this actually getting out, or is the media just going to cover it up and bury it?
Part 2 drops next week.
E544 - Dusty Tuckness | The Most Voted Bullfighter in NFR History on God, Grit, and Getting Back Up
2026/07/10
Dusty Tuckness has been voted into the National Finals Rodeo by the top bull riders in the world 17 years in a row. That's a record nobody else has touched.
Chad sits down with Dusty the day after he took a hit — subluxed hip, stretched hammy, sprained MCL — and went back out and fought 11 more bulls that same night. They get into what it takes to step in front of an 1,800-pound animal that just threw somebody off and wants someone on the ground. The split-second decisions. The two-man team. Knowing when you're going to take the shot before it even lands.
But this conversation goes well beyond rodeo. Dusty talks openly about his faith and how it carried him through a compound fracture of his tib and fib, how it shapes the way he competes, and why he considers himself a Christian who just happens to fight bulls. Chad brings his own story; the mallard duck that started Banded, the veterans he's raised money for, and what this lifestyle gives to him.
They also get into Rocker Steiner, Stetson Wright, the camaraderie of the rodeo world, animal ethics, the crossover between hunting culture and rodeo, and what it means to be the unsung hero in an arena full of people watching someone else.
This episode is presented by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and brought to you by Caesars Rodeo, Resistol Hats, Demerbox, GATR Coolers & Drinkware, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels, Corning Ford, Bodyguard Bumpers, and LEER Truck Toppers.
E543 - Dustin Lynch | Side Stage in Reno
2026/06/11
Chad was side stage Saturday night for Chase Rice. Sunday night it was Dustin Lynch headlining the Drifters Festival, and he owned it from the first song.
The audio was dialed in, and Dustin talked to the crowd, told stories, fired them up, and did a Toby Keith tribute that had the whole place going. Chad was there with Brittany, his other friend Brittany, and her husband Brad. They went backstage before the show, stood side stage for the whole set, then got back on the bus after and went out in Reno together.
Chad's known Dustin for years. From Talladega, Tennessee, duck camp, hunting stories on the bus. He talks about what makes Dustin different. His humility, the down-to-earth energy, and the fact that he's a hunter and a provider who genuinely gets it. Dustin Lynch is coming to camp this fall. Chad can't wait.
This one turns into a full-blown love letter to music — country, outlaw, rock, metal, hip hop, all of it. Chad goes deep on Hayes Carl, Brent Cobb's new album, Whiskey Myers, GNR, Metallica, and old school rap. If you love music the way Chad loves music, this one's for you.
This episode is brought to you by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey, Demerbox, Bedslide, Oakley Sunglasses, Napa Valley Olive Oil, GATR Coolers, Jack Link's Protien Snacks, and Resistol Hats!
