It's always amazing to see how Mother Earth Brewers twist and recreate the Hazy IPA style for their Project X seriese that blends beer and art togther. Thier latest edition Odin's Ally they brought out the big hop hammer and used a regional hop I've never heard of before!

It's easy to see that the MEBC brewers in Vista were feeling the the pull of brats and loud Oom-Pah music. Earlier this week he had a Hellese out of their small batch program, so today Andrew from Mother Earth Brewing brought another small batch beer called El Hefe! This one brewed in more of the Bavarian Style Hef it's bringing all the bananna, clove and bubble gum to the party BUT it still finishes clean.

It's Oktoberfest time and everyone has their beers on tap. There are two schools of thought, the OG Marzen or the newer Fest Bier. In true Mother Earth Brewing fashion, their Oktoberfest is somewhere in between! Andrew from MEBC explains the thought process behind forging thier own path.

It's the reason for the season! As we head into Fall, Mother Earth Brewing takes a flagship beer like Cali Creamin' and puts a little twist on it for PSL season with Cali Screamin' Puimpkin Spiced Cali Creamin'. Worst part about all of this, Andrew from MEBC drops at the end.

We're breaking news! A brand new beer and partnership with Embolden and San Diego FC called the State of Flow Hazy IPA is coming to Snapdragon Stadium! We try it first today and Andy and William talk about how this team-up came to be.

As Andy from Embolden Beer put it, the last three days were building up to the main course. A seriese of Shogun Lagers culiminates with a delicious West Coast IPA called Broken Record. Why is it called Broken Record? Andy and William expain.

As we wrap up a Wednesday, Andy and William from Shogun by Embolden brought an old favorite, Dusk in Kyoto, a Hojicha Lager. Even better then the beer we get the origin story of how Shogun by Embolden started at the Taste of Shogun a few years ago.

One of the stars of the Taste of Shogun this Sunday at Shogun by Embolden is today's beer. Brewed in collab with Takehiro Hira The Warrior is a lager featuring Okinawa's Shikuwasa citrus. It makes this beer huge on flavor with this almost lime-tangerine like cirtus quality.

I saw a post about their event on social media and I had to invite them in to talk about it! This week William and Andy from Shogun by Embolden join me to talk about what they've been brewing and what's happening this weekend for the Taste of Shogun! It's also the first time I've ever had both of them together in the studio, so this is gonna be a blast. We start simple, clean and elegant with thier Japanese Rice Lager.

It's THAT TIME! Saturday kicks off the 191st Oktoberfest in Munich, we start it in San Diego today with San Diego Brewing Company's Marzen style Oktoberfest beer and some WINGS!!
