Welcome to Episode 210! We'd like to dedicate this episode of Heroes of Noise to one of our OG listeners. Some of you may remember Mick Conroy, aka The Big MC from back in the early days of HON. Welcome to Episode 209!  It took a couple of extra weeks to return as Dan had a bad case of the flu but we're happy to be back in your ears again. In our attempt to do things differently for 2025 we once again livestreamed the show and this is what you're listening to. We hadn't announced we were doing so but we'll be sure to next time. We honestly didn't even know if was going to work as we're still figuring it all out. It does change the sound a bit, but truth be told like...2 of you will give a crap about that. The live audio (sound effects, etc) have some issues at times (Dan needs a new mixer) but we're still proud of this one because its the most "HON "show we've done in a while. We really hope you enjoy.  Here's what we're talking about this week: Welcome to the end of days  Tariffs, Take-backs, and Tyranny or as we like to call it. We'll talk to you soon. Stay safe out there. Shit is CRAZY. 🤘🏽✊🏾

Happy New Year and welcome to Episode 208! This is our first official episode since coming back on a regular basis, which as of now will be biweekly going forward. As you'll hear we're also playing with the aspects of video and will be doing more with that platform as we move through 2025. It's an experiment we want to try. However, experiments can have varying results and you may hear some of that today. For our first episode this year we decided to livestream. This time it was on our private Facebook group, the Heroes of Noise Podcast Community (which you should join if you haven't already), but we're planning to do this from the website eventually. Baby Steps.. This was the first time livestreaming for both of us so pardon the number of times you hear us referring to something that's actually visual (we'll figure it out once we get comfortable with this). Also this is a slightly edited version of our livestream as we had some problems with echoing on Steve's side which has been corrected for the most part. There were also a few moments cut that just didn't work well in the audio version; Basically it's tweaked just enough to hit your ears correctly.  Again, just a learning curve when livestreaming. Ok. You get it. It's not perfect. Let's move on. Here's just a "smidge" of what you'll hear on this episode: The Black Dragon Returns From Thailand "You a hugger?" 2015 Expectations/ Predictions "To the Best of My Knowledge" Dan confesses to decades old crimes An old dude tries to remember the plot of Sean Penn's 1983 movie "Bad Boys" and sell you on it at the same time. Superman Trailer thoughts Steve prefers women of the 80s Our closest celebrity connection We hope you enjoy our latest episode and we look forward to being back in your ears very soon. It's a new year, a new time, and we're ready to do this. Until then...Be cool. This year is going to be insane. Pace yourselves. 🤘🏽✊🏾 Contact info: https://www.heroesofnoise.com Email: [email protected]

Hey everyone! Dan here. Ya boys are back with a quick pop in to drop a little news on you. This one will sound a little different because I'm an idiot and can't work my own equipment after 7 months of not recording, but at least Steve had his shit together. 😂 But don't fret because the message we have for you is still there. This one was never intended to be a full episode. It's more of an announcement. You just have to wait until the end to get there as we are literally catching up with each other after quite some time. So that's it. Just listen. We hope you all have happy holidays! 🤘🏽✊🏾

Welcome to Episode 207! It's been 6 months since we last fired up the HON machine. We'll call this a full episode, but you can think of this one as more of a check-in; A sort've warm up, if you will. This one is for you to have in your ears so you can feel like you're in the room with us just shooting the shit like the old days. You won't get any reviews on this episode (real ones anyway). This will be more like when Grandpa used to get his badass classic car and take it out for a drive on Sunday.  Basically we're just burning some carbon off.  We both have been itching to get back on mic, but to play it safe we'll take these next episodes one at a time for now. But yes, there will be more.Ya boys haven't actually had a full conversation in quite some time. For almost the entirety of this year, if we're being honest. So it was nice catching up again.  Here's some of what we get into on this one: Steve liked Abigail R.I.P. Baxter, Hello Penny Bougie Dog Food Dan's father of the year moment Pellet v wood Steve's current "Status" You've gotta moisturize  We get dark for a minute Steve comes through with an unexpected quiz How many porn stars can you name? Dan isn't about "Anyone But You" What we need to catch up on at the theaters Finally we end on some Fantastic 4 talk and some upcoming shows Dan will be seeing.  That's it for this time around. We're glad to be in your ears again and plan on doing this Ian real soon.  Until then, Friends.. 🤘🏽✊🏾

Yo! Dan Here. Welcome to Episode 206! This episode was supposed to be out a week ago. But audio issues made this one almost unlistenable so a little time and TLC brought it back from the dead. Full disclosure I was just too damn busy last week to get this out on time so pardon the tardiness. Now... come with us into the past as we take you back over a weeeekkkk  (Spooky fingers and ghost voice really help with that last part). Here's what we're talking about time around: The Sphere, U2, and where to go from here The Beatles "Now and Then" Thoughts Fom Steve Steve got the poop test. The aging process has begun Random health facts through the Steve filter Extremely Quick Fim / TV Thoughts: When Evil Lurks The Burial Gen V Invincible For All Mankind The Main Event - Our Top 10 Hits From 1983   We jope you enjoy this episode and we'll be back at some point soon.
