MLB’s Roof Rule Is RIDICULOUS And Needs To Be Changed NOW
2026/10/07
MLB has a ROOF problem — and Maggie Gray wants Major League Baseball and commissioner Rob Manfred to fix it immediately. On the latest episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie gives her Stock Up and Stock Down after a wild week in sports. First up: MLB is STOCK DOWN. How can a ball hit into the roof or ceiling of a stadium, come back into fair territory and be caught for an out? It happened in the Brewers-Padres playoff series and then again when Yankees rookie Spencer Jones hit a ball into the roof at Tropicana Field. Maggie believes any batted ball that hits a roof or ceiling in fair territory should immediately become a dead ball. Then Maggie gives the NFL STOCK UP after the league suspended officials Jeff Seeman and Adrian Hill for separate incidents involving inappropriate conduct toward players during Week 4. Maggie believes referees have to be held to a professional standard and should de-escalate situations with players rather than becoming part of the confrontation. Maggie also has STOCK DOWN for Indianapolis Colts owner and CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon and her increasingly visible presence on the sideline, wearing a headset, taking notes and listening to coaching communications. Irsay-Gordon has explained that she does it to better understand football, but Maggie argues there are more discreet ways for an owner to learn the game without being directly on the sideline. And what happened to Deion Sanders? Maggie gives Coach Prime Stock Down as Colorado has struggled to maintain the momentum it had when Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter were in Boulder. Maggie questions whether Deion has shown enough as a head coach to justify the bigger jobs he was once linked to. Plus, Maggie breaks down one of the biggest games of NFL Week 5: San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks, including the matchup's biggest strengths, weaknesses and the three keys that could decide the game. A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray is a podcast for sports fans covering the NFL, MLB, college football and the biggest stories across the sports world. The Raiders Lost to the Chiefs. I’m STILL Buying Them.
2026/10/05
NFL Week 4 was absolute chaos — and Maggie Gray has her latest Stock Up / Stock Down report on the biggest winners, losers and storylines around the league on the newest episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, a podcast for sports fans. 📈 STOCK UP: LAS VEGAS RAIDERS The Raiders lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on a last-second field goal, but Maggie isn't backing off her belief in Las Vegas. The Raiders made mistakes that can be corrected, showed they can compete with one of the NFL's best teams and proved their 3-0 start was NOT a fluke. With Kirk Cousins and first-year head coach Klint Kubiak, can the Raiders stay in the AFC playoff race? 📈 STOCK UP: DRAKE MAYE After looking like he had lost confidence in a brutal loss to Jacksonville, Drake Maye bounced back in a huge way against the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots quarterback took advantage of a vulnerable Buffalo secondary and looked like a completely different player. Maggie argues that beating the Bills may have saved both Maye's season and the Patriots' season. 📈 STOCK UP: DALLAS COWBOYS OFFENSE Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb put on a show against the Houston Texans. Lamb finished with 17 catches for 189 yards, and the Cowboys offense came through when Dallas desperately needed it. 📉 STOCK DOWN: HOUSTON TEXANS DEFENSE Houston is 0-4, and Maggie believes the defense deserves much of the blame. Could the Texans' struggles open the door for the Jacksonville Jaguars to take control of the AFC South — and potentially put themselves in position to chase the No. 1 seed, a first-round bye and home-field advantage? 📉 STOCK DOWN: LAMAR JACKSON INJURY The Ravens got the win over Tennessee, but Lamar Jackson left with an ankle sprain. Baltimore is already adjusting to a new head coach and offensive coordinator. Could missing time put Lamar and the Ravens behind? 📉 STOCK DOWN: NEW YORK JETS Maggie absolutely eviscerates the Jets after their offense produced a historically bad performance against the Chicago Bears and backup quarterback Tyson Bagent. New York's offense took a massive step backward and raised even more questions about where this team is headed. 📉 STOCK DOWN: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES The Eagles appeared to have the Rams beaten after building a 10-point fourth-quarter lead. Then the offense completely disappeared. Los Angeles scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to steal the game, leaving Philadelphia with another frustrating loss — even with the Eagles battling significant injuries. ⚾ MLB PLAYOFFS: PADRES IN SERIOUS TROUBLE Maggie also dives into the Padres' brutal 0-2 start against the Milwaukee Brewers in their best-of-five playoff series. Game 1 featured a bizarre moment when a ball that looked destined to become the go-ahead home run hit the roof and dropped into Milwaukee outfielder Jackson Chourio's glove for an out. Then in Game 2, Padres closer Mason Miller walked three batters before giving up the game-winning single to Chourio. San Diego now faces a massive uphill climb. Raiders. Drake Maye. Kirk Cousins. Chiefs. Patriots. Bills. Cowboys. CeeDee Lamb. Texans. Jaguars. Lamar Jackson. Ravens. Jets. Eagles. Rams. Padres. Brewers. It's all on the newest A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray.   time codes:  1:45 Why I was impressed with the Las Vegas Raiders even though they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes 7:02 New england Patriots quarterback Drake Maye saved his season with a win over the Buffalo Bills 11:45 How will the Buffalo Bills handle their first taste of adversity  13:25 The Dallas Cowboys offense had a great day against the Houston Texans defense 15:51 The Houston Texans defense is costing them games 17:35 Are the Jacksonville Jaguars going to win the AFC south easily and grab the AFC's top seed?  20:30 Joe Burrow throws two bad interceptions and loses JaMarr Chase to a concussion 21:19 DRAFTKINGS! 23:45 The New York Jets offense took major steps back in a loss to the Chicago Bears 28:39 The Philadelphia Eagles blew a ten point fourth quarter lead to the Los Angeles Rams 32:23 the New York Giants are in first place in the NFC east for the first time in over a decade 35:14 time for the Arizona Cardinals to bench Jacoby Brissett and start Carson Beck 36:49 Lamar Jackson sprained his ankle, why it would be bad if he has to miss time 39:25 the Green Bay Packers beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it doesn't make anyone more confident in head coach Matt La Fleur  43:07 WAYFAIR! 45:40 how can the San Diego Padres recover from their two losses to the Milwaukee Brewers 48:47 Austin Wells the catcher for the New York Yankees got over aggressive and it cost his team dearly Subscribe for more NFL analysis, MLB reaction, sports debate, interviews and Maggie's Stock Up / Stock Down. Tom Brady, Fame and the Price of Greatness with Lars Anderson
2026/10/02
Tom Brady has won seven Super Bowls, built one of the most recognizable brands in sports history and achieved virtually everything an athlete could dream of. But what happens when Tom Brady no longer has football to chase? New York Times bestselling author and former Sports Illustrated senior writer Lars Anderson joins Maggie Gray on A Must Win Game to talk about his new book, Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness, and the fascinating life of Tom Brady after retirement. Lars and Maggie take a deep look at Brady's post-football life, including what may be driving him now that the pursuit of championships is over. They discuss the Netflix Roast of Tom Brady and why Lars believes agreeing to participate was a major mistake for Brady. Has Tom Brady been searching for something since walking away from football? How has he handled fame throughout his career? And how was he able to become arguably the most famous player in the NFL without allowing celebrity to get in the way of winning? Lars also shares his belief that Tom Brady will get married again and discusses what the next chapter of Brady's life could look like. Plus, Maggie has her latest Stock Up / Stock Down. 📈 STOCK UP: New York YankeesThe Yankees advanced in the American League Wild Card despite Aaron Judge not being on the roster, raising questions about what New York can accomplish heading into the postseason — and whether something has gone seriously wrong in Boston after the Red Sox's disappointing finish to the season. 📈 SHOCKING STOCK UP: Jerry Jones & the Dallas CowboysMaggie gives Jerry Jones and the Cowboys a surprising Stock Up after Dallas traded for cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to address a major weakness in the secondary. Amy Trask Reveals What REALLY Changed With the Raiders
2026/09/30
The Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0, and former Raiders CEO Amy Trask joins Maggie Gray on A Must Win Game to explain what has changed inside the organization. After going 3-14 last season, the Raiders have opened the 2026 NFL season with three straight wins. Kirk Cousins has played extremely well, while the organization has also added new voices to the coaching staff and behind the scenes — including minority owner Tom Brady. So what is actually different about the Raiders? Amy Trask gives Maggie Gray her perspective on the Raiders' culture, leadership, coaching changes and Tom Brady's role within the organization. And then there's the biggest question surrounding Las Vegas: Fernando Mendoza. The Raiders selected Mendoza No. 1 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, but Kirk Cousins' strong start has created a fascinating quarterback dilemma. Is there pressure to get the No. 1 overall pick onto the field? Should the Raiders continue riding with Cousins? And what does the development of Mendoza look like if Las Vegas continues winning? Amy also takes Maggie inside her memories of John Madden, including one of her favorite memories of the legendary Raiders coach. She explains why Madden meant so much to the organization — and why she won't be seeing the new movie about John Madden and Al Davis. Plus, Maggie gives the New York Giants a STOCK DOWN after their trade for J.J. McCarthy and explains why the move raises questions about the Giants' quarterback situation. New York acquired McCarthy from Minnesota for a 2027 fifth-round pick, while Jameis Winston remains the team's starting quarterback. And Maggie gives the Chicago Bears a STOCK UP after 38-year-old veteran Case Keenum delivered an incredible performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. In his first regular-season action since 2023, Keenum completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for a score in Chicago's 27-7 victory. Amy Trask. The Raiders. What HAPPENED to Drake Maye? The Patriots QB Has a HUGE Problem
2026/09/28
NFL Week 3 was absolute chaos — and Maggie Gray has a LOT to say about it. The biggest question: WHAT HAPPENED TO DRAKE MAYE? The Patriots quarterback was an MVP runner-up and led New England to the Super Bowl last season. Three games into 2026, Maye has just one touchdown and six interceptions after a brutal 35-6 loss to Jacksonville. Is his shoulder still affecting him? Could the injury become a bigger issue? Or has the weight of expectations started to affect Maye’s confidence and decision-making? Maggie also gives a STOCK DOWN to the Dallas Cowboys after their stunning 34-31 loss to the Ravens. Dallas had seven seconds to defend Lamar Jackson — and still allowed Jackson to hit Zay Flowers for 27 yards, setting up a 56-yard game-winning field goal. The Los Angeles Chargers also get a STOCK DOWN after falling to 0-3 despite forcing FIVE turnovers from Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Maggie asks whether Justin Herbert is making enough winning plays when the pressure is highest. Then there’s a STOCK UP for Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy. The former Packers quarterback and head coach reunited in Pittsburgh, and the Steelers offense finally showed some explosiveness in a wild 30-27 win over Cincinnati. Plus: • The Houston Texans fall to 0-3 and the offense looks completely lost• The Tampa Bay Buccaneers drop to 0-3 and Baker Mayfield suffers a dislocated right thumb that will be evaluated with an MRI• The Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0 with Kirk Cousins — but Maggie is reserving judgment until they face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 4• The biggest winners, losers and questions coming out of NFL Week 3 This is A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, a podcast for sports fans who want strong opinions, big questions and honest conversations about the biggest stories in sports. Dan Fouts on Dennis Miller, Justin Herbert & the Chargers’ BIG Problem
2026/09/25
Dan Fouts joins A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray to talk about the new HBO documentary Miller Night Football and the wildly unconventional Monday Night Football broadcast booth featuring Fouts, Al Michaels and comedian Dennis Miller. The documentary revisits Miller's controversial run in the MNF booth beginning in 2000. Fouts also weighs in on his former team, the Los Angeles Chargers, who are off to an 0-2 start. What is going wrong for Justin Herbert and the Chargers? Fouts believes the team isn't recovering from negative plays early in games — and that those mistakes can create a snowball effect. He also explains what he would tell Herbert if the Chargers quarterback called him looking for advice. Plus, Fouts talks about his former college team, the Oregon Ducks, ahead of their huge rivalry matchup against No. 12 USC. Oregon enters the game 2-1 while USC is 4-0. Then Maggie welcomes The Athletic Yankees beat writer Brendan Kuty to discuss the latest drama surrounding Aaron Judge and Aaron Boone. Judge's right calf injury has put his availability for the Yankees' Wild Card Series against Boston in serious doubt. Boone initially said the Yankees were planning as if Judge would not play, while more recent comments have left the door open. Jaxson Dart Injury Just Changed the Giants’ Entire Future
2026/09/23
Jaxson Dart’s knee injury could change the entire future of the New York Giants. The Giants quarterback suffered a serious knee injury against the Los Angeles Rams, and after initially appearing to avoid the worst-case scenario, further evaluations have raised major questions about how much time Dart could miss. The Giants say evaluations are still ongoing, but the possibility of significant time away has put the franchise’s quarterback situation under a microscope. If Dart misses substantial time, how committed should the Giants remain to him as their franchise quarterback? Could New York turn to a veteran? Could the Giants consider another quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft? Maggie Gray breaks down what Dart’s injury means for the Giants and their future. Maggie also reacts to the New York Mets surprisingly removing the interim tag from Andy Green and giving him a three-year deal. Why make this decision now? And does the move suggest that owner Steve Cohen does not fully trust president of baseball operations David Stearns? Then there’s the New York Yankees, where Aaron Judge is expected to miss the Wild Card Series because of his right calf injury. Maggie explains why Yankees fans shouldn’t expect Judge to return and immediately provide postseason heroics. Plus, Maggie welcomes Femi Abebefe, co-host of The GM Shuffle and author of Femi’s Focus, to talk NFL football and betting. Maggie and Femi discuss: • Why the Seattle Seahawks are getting disrespected by the national media• Why Femi is NOT worried about the Dallas Cowboys defense• Cowboys vs. Ravens betting trends ahead of the NFL game in Brazil• The REAL problem with the Los Angeles Chargers — and why it’s personnel, not scheme• Femi’s best NFL bet: Chargers + the points against the Buffalo Bills• Femi’s college football bet: Missouri over Mississippi State This is A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, a podcast for sports fans covering the biggest stories, debates, controversies and betting angles across the NFL, MLB, college football and the world of sports. #NFL #Giants #JaxsonDart #Mets #AndyGreen #Yankees #AaronJudge #Seahawks #Cowboys #Chargers Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. College Football Has a NEW Superstar QB
2026/09/21
Who is the BEST quarterback in college football right now?   Maggie Gray is putting her stock in **Trinidad Chambliss** after the Ole Miss QB delivered a huge performance against LSU in Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford. Chambliss threw for 363 yards, accounted for three total touchdowns and led Ole Miss to a 32-24 victory. Now the question is whether this can become a **Joe Burrow-style or Fernando Mendoza-style fairy-tale season** — and whether NFL teams will overlook concerns about Chambliss' age and size.   Maggie also has a message for **Lane Kiffin**: STOCK DOWN.   Kiffin returned to Ole Miss with LSU, lost to his former team and then became part of the story both during and after the game. Maggie breaks down the trolling, the postgame reaction and why she's officially experiencing **Lane Kiffin fatigue**.   Plus:   • **NC State vs. Vanderbilt:** How did CJ Bailey and NC State possibly lose this game? • **College football chaos:** A six-second disaster that turned into a Vanderbilt touchdown. • **Jeremiah Smith:** Ohio State's superstar just broke the school's all-time receiving-yardage record. • **NFL Draft:** Could Smith actually force his way into the No. 1 overall conversation? • **Stock Up / Stock Down:** Maggie's biggest college football winners and losers.   The latest **A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray** is all college football — and there is A LOT to talk about.   Time codes :45 Trinidad Chambliss from the University of Mississippi is the best QB in college football 4:02 Can Chambliss be the number one overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft?  7:17 Stock down Lane Kiffin after LSU lost to Ole Miss 10:01 Lane Kiffin’s record in big games is not very impressive 12:22 DRAFTKINGS!  14:33 the ending of NC State and Vanderbilt will go down as an all time boneahead moment  20:37 Is Jeremiah Smith the best Ohio State wide receiver ever?  22:55 is he good enough to be the number one overall pick in the NFL draft?  23:30 remembering former New York Giants GM Ernie Accorsi with a personal memory    #CollegeFootball #CFB #TrinidadChambliss #OleMiss #LaneKiffin #LSU #JeremiahSmith #OhioState #NFLDraft #MaggieGray   Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. New Stadium. New Bills. But Are They Finally a Super Bowl Team?
2026/09/18
Are the Buffalo Bills actually a Super Bowl contender — or are they simply an incredible offense led by Josh Allen? The Bills are 2-0, Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level, and Buffalo just opened its new Highmark Stadium with a statement 41-31 win over the Detroit Lions. The offense has been explosive through the first two weeks, but the bigger question remains: Is this finally a different Bills team? Can Buffalo be more than just a great regular-season offense, and can Josh Allen finally lead the Bills all the way to a Super Bowl? Maggie Gray tackles that question and much more with Andrew “McLovin” Perloff on A Must Win Game. Perloff is ALL IN on the New York Giants after their Week 1 win over Dallas — but are the Giants actually for real? We break down Jaxson Dart, the Giants offense and whether New York can sustain its early success. Then there’s Green Bay. The Packers have now lost six straight games dating back to last season, and Maggie believes they have EVERYTHING to lose against the New York Jets. Could another loss put real pressure on the coaching staff in Green Bay? We also dive into the massive LSU-Ole Miss storyline as Lane Kiffin returns to Ole Miss after leaving for LSU following Ole Miss’ College Football Playoff run. Maggie has officially reached “Lane Kiffin fatigue” — and we debate whether college football has had enough of the constant Kiffin drama. Plus, Arch Manning is back in the No. 1 overall pick conversation. Could a huge Texas season against Ohio State change how NFL teams view Arch heading into the 2027 NFL Draft? And what is really going on with Titans quarterback Cam Ward? Is Ward struggling because the talent isn’t translating, because of the coaching around him, or some combination of both? Could Cam Ward become the next highly drafted quarterback to disappoint in the NFL? It's a packed football conversation covering the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen, the Super Bowl, the new Bills stadium, the Giants, Jaxson Dart, the Packers, the Jets, Lane Kiffin, LSU, Ole Miss, Arch Manning, Texas, Ohio State and Cam Ward. Are the Giants ACTUALLY GOOD? Jaxson Dart Has Changed Everything
2026/09/16
Are the New York Giants and New York Jets actually BACK — or is this all FOOLS GOLD? Maggie Gray welcomes her former executive producer EJ Stewart to A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray to break down the biggest stories in New York sports and across the NFL. For the first time since 2009, both the Giants and Jets opened the NFL season with wins. But can either team actually be GOOD? The Giants may have something different this time. Jaxson Dart looked confident in his first NFL start, throwing three touchdown passes and adding 54 rushing yards in the Giants' Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Malik Nabers, Isaiah Likely and Cam Skattebo helped give the Giants offense an identity. Is Dart already becoming the leader this franchise has been searching for? Or is this simply another case of getting excited too early about the Giants? Maggie and EJ also break down the New York Jets and debate whether Aaron Glenn's team can sustain its hot start. Then it's time for Jalen Brunson. The Knicks superstar continues to dominate the New York sports conversation, getting shoutouts from tennis star Ben Shelton and singer Harry Styles within 48 hours — and he's also preparing to host Saturday Night Live. Is Jalen Brunson the No. 1 athlete in America right now? Is he the biggest athlete in New York? And what happens if Aaron Judge wins a World Series with the Yankees? The Pete Alonso conversation gets emotional — and complicated. Alonso returned to Citi Field with the Baltimore Orioles and received huge ovations from Mets fans throughout the night. But are Mets fans giving Pete Alonso TOO MUCH LOVE after he left New York? Should fans be celebrating his return, or is the reaction another reminder that the Mets made the wrong decision letting their longtime slugger leave? Maggie and EJ also break down Patrick Mahomes' return against the Denver Broncos. Mahomes looked rusty in his first game back, completing 15 of 27 passes for 184 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. But Bo Nix looked even worse as Denver was crushed 31-10. What should we actually take away from the Chiefs and Broncos after Week 1? The Cowboys Got EXPOSED, Packers COLLAPSE & Josh Allen ERUPTS
2026/09/14
The Dallas Cowboys were supposed to have a better defense. Instead, a second-year quarterback and a young New York Giants offense under new head coach John Harbaugh controlled the game, won the time-of-possession battle and forced Dallas into costly mistakes.   Jaxson Dart threw three touchdown passes, the Giants held the ball for more than 36 minutes and New York beat the Cowboys 28-20 in John Harbaugh's Giants debut. For Maggie Gray, that's a major red flag for Dallas.   On the latest episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie breaks down the biggest winners, losers and surprises from the NFL and college football weekend.   📉 STOCK DOWN: THE DALLAS COWBOYS Why was the Cowboys defense unable to control a young Giants offense? Jaxson Dart looked poised, John Harbaugh's Giants controlled the game and Dallas couldn't win the time-of-possession or turnover battle. Is the Cowboys defense actually improved?   📉 STOCK DOWN: GREEN BAY PACKERS The Packers completely collapsed against the Minnesota Vikings. Green Bay led 22-10, then Minnesota scored 29 unanswered points, including 22 points in the fourth quarter, to win 39-22. How many more blown leads can Matt LaFleur survive before this becomes a coaching problem?   📉 STOCK DOWN: LOS ANGELES CHARGERS The Chargers were 9.5-point favorites — the biggest favorite of Week 1 — and got completely outclassed by the Arizona Cardinals in a stunning 26-14 loss. If Los Angeles loses to the Raiders next week, a brutal stretch against Buffalo, Seattle, Denver and Kansas City could make the season go sideways very quickly.   📈 STOCK UP: JOSH ALLEN & THE BUFFALO BILLS Josh Allen accounted for four touchdowns and Buffalo scored 36 points against a Houston Texans defense that was supposed to be one of the NFL's best. The Rams’ Australia Gamble BACKFIRED
2026/09/11
The Los Angeles Rams are STOCK DOWN after getting crushed by the San Francisco 49ers in Australia — and Maggie Gray thinks their travel strategy deserves serious scrutiny. The Rams arrived in Melbourne just over 24 hours before kickoff, while the 49ers arrived nearly a week early. San Francisco won 27-7, and the Rams appeared to fade badly as the game went on. Could the Rams' decision to fly to Australia so late come back to haunt them in a crowded NFC West? If Los Angeles is battling San Francisco, Seattle and Arizona for the division — and potentially home-field advantage in the NFC — every game matters. Maggie also gives STOCK DOWN to New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye after an ugly fourth quarter against the Seattle Seahawks. Maye threw THREE interceptions in the fourth quarter as New England blew a 10-0 lead and lost 13-10. The bigger question: was Maye's MVP-caliber 2025 season helped by a favorable schedule, and does he become a different quarterback when he faces elite defenses? Then there's Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham. After Michigan barely survived Western Michigan, Whittingham said Bryce Underwood's starting quarterback job was "not infinite." The problem? Underwood appeared genuinely surprised when reporters asked him about those comments. With No. 10 Oklahoma coming to Ann Arbor, Maggie says Whittingham has to understand that Michigan comes with a completely different level of media scrutiny than Utah. Maggie also gives STOCK DOWN to the Los Angeles Dodgers for waiting so long to put Shohei Ohtani on the injured list. Ohtani is dealing with left knee and right biceps issues and is eligible to return September 23 — meaning he could have just FIVE regular-season games to get his timing back before the playoffs. And in the matchup breakdown, Maggie looks ahead to Vikings vs. Packers. Can Jordan Love carry Green Bay against a Minnesota defense that was one of the NFL's best last season — especially without Josh Jacobs? Can Kyler Murray take advantage of Green Bay's defensive injuries and get Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison the football? Plus: Maggie's biggest STOCK UP and STOCK DOWN calls of the week. 31 People Didn’t Want Aaron Rodgers. Let That Sink In.
2026/09/09
The SEC is threatening to EXPEL LSU — and Maggie Gray thinks the conference has gone way too far. On the newest episode of A Must Win Game with Maggie Gray, Maggie gives her STOCK UP and STOCK DOWN on the biggest stories in college football and the NFL. First: STOCK DOWN on the SEC's escalating fight with LSU and Lane Kiffin. The SEC is threatening to remove LSU from the conference after LSU challenged the league's new rule preventing players with previous NFL roster experience from returning to college football. Maggie argues that the entire situation is a massive overreaction, especially because the controversy stems from changes to NCAA eligibility rules that created this unusual situation in the first place. The SEC has now moved toward a vote on whether LSU should be expelled from the conference. Then: STOCK DOWN on Aaron Rodgers. The New York Jets interviewed 16 candidates for head coach and 15 candidates for general manager during their 2025 search — and according to Maggie, all 31 ultimately said they would pass on Aaron Rodgers. Thirty-one people. Maggie also has a bigger problem with Jets owner Woody Johnson. What does it say about the New York Jets when so many people appear to have a voice in major football decisions? Maggie argues that Woody Johnson has too many voices around him and too many people influencing who gets hired, fired and retained. And finally, Maggie makes her Super Bowl prediction. She's taking the BALTIMORE RAVENS vs. the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS. Are the Ravens and Seahawks legitimate Super Bowl contenders? Can Lamar Jackson finally get Baltimore back to the Super Bowl? Can Seattle make a run all the way to the NFL championship? Maggie breaks it all down in the latest episode of A Must Win Game. Maggie vs. Perloff: Who’s Right About Michigan? The Rams? and more
2026/09/08
Andrew “McLovin” Perloff is back with Maggie Gray — and he has plenty to say about the biggest football storylines of the moment. College football is already surrounded by controversy, from Michigan’s wild finish against Western Michigan to the ongoing LSU and Lane Kiffin eligibility drama. Perloff joins Maggie to break down why college football has become such a mess before we’ve even gotten through the opening week. Then Perloff takes aim at Maggie’s NFL predictions — specifically her decision to fade the Los Angeles Rams. Does he think the Rams are being seriously underrated? And the conversation turns to Jalen Hurts after his revealing new GQ interview. Perloff explains why he believes Hurts needs to run more this season — and why Philadelphia could be in trouble if Hurts becomes too pass-first. Maggie Gray and Andrew Perloff debate Michigan, LSU, Lane Kiffin, the Rams, Jalen Hurts, the Eagles and everything already making headlines in college football and the NFL. Did Kawhi Leonard Get Away With It?
2026/09/04
Was Kawhi Leonard more involved in the Clippers salary-cap scandal than we realize? Maggie Gray welcomes Mike Vorkunov, basketball writer for The Athletic, to break down the fallout from the Kawhi Leonard and Los Angeles Clippers scandal — including the biggest unanswered question: could Kawhi have played a larger role in an effort to circumvent the NBA salary cap in order to get more money? Why does Steve Ballmer and the Clippers organization appear to have taken far more of the fallout than Kawhi Leonard? And what does the scandal mean for the NBA? Plus, Maggie welcomes On3 college football insider Brett McMurphy to discuss the chaotic legal battle over fifth-year college eligibility. Competing lawsuits in Louisiana and federal court in Alabama are raising a bizarre question: Can players who have been on NFL rosters return to college and play another season? It's a three-ring circus involving the NCAA, college football programs, NFL players, coaches and the courts — and the outcome could fundamentally change college football eligibility.
