Venus & Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio!

Welcome to Different Paths. Shared Values. — conversations around astrology and human experience. I'm Julieae, a of Julie Mae Astrology and I'm here with my cousin, Wendy Fritz of BCHANGEUSEEK. Today we're talking about the 6th house; service, daily routines, and health. Then we'll look at what's happening in the sky right now and how it touches our bodies and our habits. One quick note before we dive in. Astrology is a mirror, not a medical chart. Nothing we say today replaces your doctor, your therapist, or your own good sense. What astrology can do is help you notice patterns and maybe ask better questions at your next appointment.

On September 10th things start moving fast. In the span of about 36 hours, Mercury moves into Libra, Venus moves into Scorpio, and Uranus stations retrograde, and then the Virgo New Moon lands. That's a lot of weather to walk into at once. You're being asked to think, feel, and adapt all at the same time.

We're recording this episode, called Between the Bookends, in a little in between time. We've got two eclipses fifteen days apart, a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12th, and a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 27th. Different signs, different jobs, same season. Today we're taking them one at a time.

We've all heard the saying, "When one door closes, another opens." August reminds us there's value in standing in the hallway for a moment.  Discernment—not urgency—is your greatest ally.

Today we're talking about another significant collective shift in astrology: the North Node moves into Aquarius and the South Node moves into Leo. We've spent the past 18 months with the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo. That cycle invited us to soften our need for certainty, perfection, and control in favor of faith, compassion, imagination, and surrender. Now the conversation changes.

This episode is on Chiron in Taurus, the history, and what it points to today.

Full Moons, Roots & Courage to Heal.

Welcome to Different Paths.  Shared Values. Conversations around astrology and human experience.  I'm Julie Mae Biron and my co-host is Wendy Fritz who also happens to be my cousin.  This is our second podcast and it's so much fun discussing relevant and timely topics from our individual viewpoints where we get where we are going from different paths and share a common focus.  Today's Theme:  Me - Uranus in Gemini - Wendy - Lived experience & societal observation. And as always, with us, it ends up being about - the stories we inherited — and whether we're brave enough to rewrite them.

April doesn't ease you in. It opens with a Full Moon revelation, builds through a series of conjunctions that demand courage and clarity, and closes with a significant ingress. As a 5-month in a 1-year, the theme is unmistakable — change is not coming, it's already here. Resilience and adaptability are the strategies.

A conversation around generational conditioning, changing our path , and re-humanizing life.
