Send us Fan Mail When someone hurts you, seeking revenge can feel like the only way to regain your power. But revenge and justice are not the same. In this episode, “Do This Instead of Seeking Revenge,” we explore the important difference between pursuing justice and trying to make someone suffer. You will learn why revenge often keeps you emotionally connected to the person who harmed you, while justice allows you to protect yourself, pursue accountability, and move forward without compromising your character or faith. We also discuss how to respond when you have been betrayed, mistreated, falsely accused, or treated unfairly—and how to release the desire for retaliation without ignoring wrongdoing. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” — Isaiah 1:17 NIV Have you ever noticed that when people say, “Just let it go,” what they often mean is, “Stop talking about it because it makes me uncomfortable”? But Isaiah 1:17 does not tell us to ignore injustice.
