2026/09/30
Missed this morning’s Prospector Show on ROCK 107? Catch up with Prospector’s Prime Cuts, your daily recap of the funniest moments from NEPA’s morning radio show.
On today’s episode:
• The Things Prospector Believes — Prospector shares another collection of observations, theories and personal rules he believes to be true, regardless of whether anybody else agrees with him.
• Halloween Pet Costumes — Prospector’s wife wants to get a costume for Puka, and Prospector admits his reluctance has less to do with being against pet costumes and more to do with being lazy. That leads to a better idea: we want to see YOUR pets dressed for Halloween! Show them off on the ROCK 107 social media pages.
• The Halloween House of Peckville Has Prospector Peeved — Peckville already has a famous Christmas house. Now there's a Halloween House too? Prospector has some sneering indignation about this disturbing trend and wonders how long it'll be before somebody unveils the Peckville Presidents’ Day House.
• Moving My Kid Led to a Horrifying Discovery — Prospector helps his stepdaughter move and takes some unwanted stuff to the dumpster, where he encounters a mattress so horrifying it looks like it belongs in a crime scene. And naturally, Prospector makes the situation worse.
Plus more weird, funny, local, and completely unnecessary moments from the show.

• Am I A Jerk? — Prospector is sitting in the doctor’s office, finds a magazine article about cycling he wants to keep... and rips it right out of the magazine. The receptionist immediately calls him out. Is he a jerk, or is an old waiting-room magazine fair game?
• What Does “Plain” Mean on a Burger? — you order a burger “plain.” What should show up? Just meat and a bun?Or does “plain” still include the standard ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions? Apparently, “plain” isn't nearly as clear as it sounds.
• Prospector’s Prank Call — Prospector calls a guy with some exciting news: his tickets to a male dance revue are ready! One problem. He insists he never ordered them. Prospector is just trying to make sure the man doesn't miss the show he absolutely, positively says he isn't going to.

There's been a billing mistake involving the Special Steering Package, and she owes more money. She can either increase her monthly payment or they'll have to come take the steering package back. Yes. The steering.
• A Scary Ozempic Side Effect — reports of serious eye problems and vision loss connected to GLP-1 drugs have people talking, and we get into the latest concern surrounding medications like Ozempic.
• Captain Obvious — the master of painfully apparent advice returns with more helpful information for anyone who somehow hasn't figured out the obvious.

Missed this morning’s Prospector Show on ROCK 107? Catch up with Prospector’s Prime Cuts, your daily recap of the funniest moments from NEPA’s morning radio show.
On today’s episode:

From thermostat control to replacing the empty toilet paper roll, listeners lay down the laws everybody under their roof should have to follow.
• Prospector’s Prank Call — Prospector calls a woman selling a car and tells her it was his and his wife's first car. With their anniversary coming up, he'd love to get a picture of the two of them sitting in it again. On today’s episode:
• The Things Prospector Believes — Prospector once again shares the odd observations, questionable theories, and personal rules rattling around inside his head.
• What's a Local Name You STILL Use? — NEPA loves refusing to acknowledge that places have changed names. Maybe you still call it The Globe Store, the Paramount, Montage Mountain, or something that's been gone so long your kids have no idea what you're talking about. We hear the local names you refuse to give up.
• Your Whole Life Is a Lie: Play-Doh — Play-Doh wasn't invented as a children's toy. It started life as a product for cleaning soot off wallpaper before somebody realized kids had a lot more fun playing with it. Your childhood modeling compound began as a household cleaner.
• Classical Rock — your tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra November 24 at Mohegan Arena are waiting for you. Claim them when we mash the worlds of classical music and classic rock together for another round of Classical Rock.

Missed this morning’s Prospector Show on ROCK 107? Catch up with Prospector’s Prime Cuts, your daily recap of the funniest moments from NEPA’s morning radio show.
On today’s episode:
• Am I a Jerk? — Prospector grabs a six-pack, walks it to the counter, and the checkout screen asks if he'd like to leave a tip. His response: “For what?” Tara thinks saying it out loud to the guy behind the counter crossed the line. Prospector thinks if he's carrying his own beer to the register, somebody needs to explain exactly what service he's tipping for. Am I a Jerk?
• Prospector’s Picky Pet Peeves — another round of those tiny everyday annoyances that somehow find a way to make Prospector disproportionately angry.

2026/09/14
Missed this morning’s Prospector Show on ROCK 107? Catch up with Prospector’s Prime Cuts, your daily recap of the funniest moments from NEPA’s morning radio show.
On today’s episode:
• National Hoagie Day — one unwanted ingredient can contaminate the entire hoagie. You can pull it off, but the damage has already been done. What's the ONE ingredient that ruins any hoagie for you?
• Pumpkin Spice Latte Caskets — yes, apparently pumpkin spice has finally followed us all the way to the grave. Because nothing says eternal rest quite like being buried in something inspired by a seasonal coffee drink.
• Top 5 Things That Should Be in a RailRiders Time Capsule — as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders get ready for a new name, we preserve this chapter of NEPA baseball history the only way we know how: by deciding what absolutely needs to be sealed away for future generations.
• Prospector’s Prank Call — Prospector calls a bakery to order a cake. Simple enough, except he keeps stretching out his words to ridiculous lengths while trying to place the order. The poor person at the bakery just wants to know what he wants written on the cake.
• Prospector’s Yambag of the Day
Plus more weird, funny, local, and completely unnecessary moments from the show.
Stay caught up on Northeast PA radio, National Hoagie Day, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, pumpkin spice insanity, Prospector Prank Calls, NEPA comedy, and the daily nonsense you might have missed on the Prospector Show.

Missed this morning’s Prospector Show on ROCK 107? Catch up with Prospector’s Prime Cuts, your daily recap of the funniest moments from NEPA’s morning radio show.
On today’s episode:
• Top 5 Signs the NFL Is Back — football has returned, and so have fantasy football disasters, questionable coaching decisions, angry fans, and grown men believing the shirt they're wearing can affect the final score.
• Your Whole Life Is a Lie — why are they called TV dinners? The answer goes back to the early days of television, a whole lot of leftover turkey, and one of the most successful food-marketing ideas ever.
• AI Is Going to Kill Us All — an AI safety expert says there's a greater than 10% chance artificial intelligence could wipe out humanity. Somehow, the people building this stuff heard that and apparently decided those were acceptable odds.
• Prospector’s Prank Call — Prospector calls a travel agent looking to book his dream vacation to an exotic destination he recently discovered. Unfortunately, he discovered it while eating biscuits at a certain chain seafood restaurant, and the travel agent has to figure out where the hell he's actually trying to go.
• Prospector’s Yambag of the Day
Plus more weird, funny, and completely unnecessary moments from the show.
Stay caught up on Northeast PA radio, NFL football, TV dinner history, artificial intelligence, Prospector Prank Calls, classic rock comedy, and the daily nonsense you might have missed on the Prospector Show.

2026/09/09
Missed this morning’s Prospector Show on ROCK 107? Catch up with Prospector’s Prime Cuts, your daily recap of the funniest moments from NEPA’s morning radio show.
On today’s episode:
• The NFL Is Back — football kicks off tonight, which means millions of otherwise rational adults will immediately start doing completely irrational things to help their team win. What's the stupid football ritual you do even though you KNOW it has absolutely no effect on the game? Lucky jerseys, assigned seats, forbidden foods and other superstitions that obviously don't work... unless they do.
• The Things Prospector Believes — another collection of Prospector's odd thoughts, questionable observations and personal rules for life that make perfect sense to him.
• Top 5 Signs You're Too Old for the County Fair — the Luzerne County Fair is here, but at some point the midway changes. You're less interested in the rides and more interested in whether there's somewhere to sit. Prospector counts down the warning signs that you may have officially aged out of fair life.
• Prospector’s Yambag of the Day
Plus more weird, funny, local, and completely unnecessary moments from the show.
Stay caught up on Northeast PA radio, NFL football, football superstitions, the Luzerne County Fair, classic rock comedy, listener stories, and the daily nonsense you might have missed on the Prospector Show.

On today’s episode:
• Am I a Jerk? — Prospector’s neighbor spent days putting together a massive Halloween display and repeatedly asked Prospector what he thought. Prospector finally gave him an answer: it’s three weeks too early for Halloween decorations. The neighbor looked crushed. He asked for Prospector’s opinion, but did Prospector take the question a little too literally?
• Prospector’s Picky Pet Peeves — another collection of minor annoyances that somehow manage to cause major irritation.
• Prospector’s Prank Call — Prospector calls a spa looking to book a couples massage. One problem: he doesn't actually have a couple. He expects the spa to provide the woman who'll be getting the massage alongside him... and he has a growing list of specifications for exactly who she should be.
• 2 Lines to Win — your tickets to see John Fogerty and Steve Winwood are waiting for you. Claim them when we play 2 Lines to Win.

• Prospector’s Prank Call — a woman gets some exciting news: she's won a free hot air balloon ride! There's just one little catch. Before she gets her prize, Prospector explains that she'll have to work for the balloon company for the day. Somehow, “free” keeps requiring more and more labor.
• Prospector’s Yambag of the Day
• Plus more weird, funny, local, and completely unnecessary moments from the show.
