The Way of God More Accurately (SOT Graduation 2026)
2026/09/30
In his sermon during this week's School of Theology graduation services, Pastor Kong Hee reminded everyone of the importance of theology. As we grow in the Lord, we should desire to know Him more deeply. Theology helps us understand God's heart, teaches us what brings Him joy, and shows us how to live in response to Him. This is especially important for leaders. Let us all grow deeper in theology and expect greater revival in our lives!
Kong Hee: In His Hands (the Philippines)
2026/09/23
What happens when the little you have meets the greatness of God? Sharing from John 6, Pastor Kong Hee brings an inspiring word on the feeding of the 5,000. God doesn't need a lot to make a miracle, He just needs what you are willing to surrender.
Pastor Kong also shares a wonderful missions report on what the Lord has been doing in the Philippines through City Harvest Church, and how God is really changing lives—especially among the Unreached People Groups (UPGs). God can use our giving to transform nations!
Kong Hee: Cruciform Faith
2026/09/16
What does it mean to be like Jesus? It means living a cruciform life. In this sermon, Pastor Kong Hee unpacks seven truths about cruciform faith and how it leads to cruciform power; a power rooted entirely in sacrificial love. Discover how the Holy Spirit empowers us to walk in this truth every day.
Aries Zulkarnain: Relational Prayer
2026/09/09
Prayer is more than presenting our needs to God—it is an ongoing relationship with our loving heavenly Father. In this message, we learn to move beyond “performative” or “superstitious” prayer into honest, relational conversation with God. As we slow down, listen, and allow Him to question, redirect, and refine us, prayer becomes a dialogue of surrender that shapes our hearts into His.
April Westbrook: Why Pentecostals are Egalitarian
2026/09/04
When God created humanity, He made both male and female in His image (Genesis 1:26–28), entrusting them with a shared calling and responsibility. Prof April Westbrook explains that Pentecostalism is inherently egalitarian because the Holy Spirit empowers all believers, regardless of gender, age, or status. With the Fall, however, this God-given empowerment became distorted, and domination and gender hierarchy entered human relationships. In Christ, there is redemption and restoration—a return to God’s original intention of shared responsibility, mutual submission, and Spirit-empowered partnership.
April Westbrook: Oh, the Love of God!
2026/09/04
In Isaiah 53:4–5, the prophet foretold of a Messiah who would bear the sins and suffering of humanity. Preaching from this passage, Prof April Westbrook explores the depth of brokenness in our world and the greater love of God that reaches into it. Jesus came not only to bear our suffering, but also to lift us out of our brokenness and restore us to wholeness. He then invites us to partner with Him in His redemptive work in the world. This is the love of God that sets His people free.
Kong Hee: The Cruciform Life
2026/08/26
God desires for all believers to mirror Jesus in love, power, and character. The greatest work of the Spirit is not merely what He puts into our hands, but what He produces in our hearts. In this sermon, Pastor Kong Hee talks about the cruciform life—a life shaped by the obedience and sacrifice of Christ on the cross. He reminds us that our "faith to receive" must transition to a "faith to become". Let us become more & more like Jesus Christ!
Kong Hee: Spiritual Atmosphere
2026/08/19
In this powerful sermon, Pastor Kong Hee shares about the importance of a strong spiritual atmosphere, where the place of agreement is the place of power. He also shares five ways everyone of us can contribute by being atmosphere-builders.
Dr Craig Keener: Why We Reject Cessationism
2026/08/12
Dr Craig Keener presents a biblical case for the continuing work and gifts of the Holy Spirit today. Beginning with Pentecost, he shows that the Church is still living in the “last days”—the era in which God has poured out His Spirit upon His people. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 13, Dr Keener explains that gifts such as prophecy and tongues remain relevant until Christ returns and believers see Him “face to face.” Scripture presents all spiritual gifts as empowered by God, and as believers, we are to pursue love while eagerly desiring the gifts of the Spirit to build up the body of Christ.
Bobby Chaw: Encountering Jesus
2026/08/05
Our greatest blessing in life is that everything we need can be found at the Lord's Table. In today's sermon, Pastor Bobby Chaw reminds everyone not just to seek God for His healing and provision but miss out on Christ Himself—His presence is the most precious gift! He went on to share five ways on how we should approach the Lord's Table.
Kong Hee: The Prayer of Faith
2026/07/29
The Bible tells us that God is our Healer. When we lift up our sicknesses to God in prayer, we position ourselves to receive from Him. In today's sermon, Pastor Kong Hee encourages everyone to pray in faith and to believe in God for their healing and miracles.
Dr Wolfgang Vondey: The Failure of the Prophet (APS 2026)
2026/07/29
In the 13th and final session of the Asia Pentecostal Summit 2026, Dr Wolfgang Vondey continues with the second of a 2-part presentation. He engages with the problems of prophetic ministry among Pentecostals today, including misleading prophetic declarations, syncretistic occult practices, and the abuse of prophetic authority and leadership. The paper aims at identifying a theological characterisation of the prophet that explores the consistency of public expectations with the prophetic identity of Jesus and the material, physical, and social dimensions of the prophetic image at Pentecost.
Kong Hee: The Seven Movements of Faith
2026/07/22
Faith is not self-manufactured—it is totally born of the Spirit. But how does the Holy Spirit work faith in us? In this powerful sermon, Pastor Kong Hee talks about how the Holy Spirit works in seven ways to birth mountain-moving faith in us through the Word.
Bobby Chaw: Passion For God - Part 4
2026/07/15
In this powerful finale of the Passion for God series, Pastor Bobby Chaw dives into the final two commandments. He encourages us to discover the freedom of speaking the truth in love and the joy of staying content in God.
Aries Zulkarnain: Do Not Worry
2026/07/08
In a world filled with uncertainty, rising pressures, and personal struggles, Jesus’ words in Matthew 6 remain deeply relevant: “Do not worry.”
Worry often comes from misplaced trust and the desire to control what only God can hold. Instead of being ruled by anxiety, we are invited to return to God as our Source, surrender our burdens to Him, and know how deeply He cares for us. As we reflect and reorient our hearts toward the Father, let us learn to work faithfully while trusting Him to provide for every step of the way!
