MADE FOR MORE UNITY: Week #1 - New Power (Matt Massey)
2026/10/25
What does the Bible say about unity in the church? In Ephesians 1, Paul shows that unity isn't just a good idea — it's God's idea and God's plan. From the beginning, God's plan has been one family made up of every background, united spiritually and ethnically in Jesus, so that we would know Him and show Him to the world. We are united with Christ so that we can unite people to Christ. When the church lives out that unity, the world sees what Jesus is really like and finds real hope and power. This message launches a four-week series through the book of Ephesians on how God invites us into a powerful unity and gives us new power and hope to make a difference in Cincinnati and beyond. NOT MY OWN: Week #4 - Number Our Days (Beth Guckenberger)
2026/10/18
You can earn more money. You can develop new skills. You can take better care of your body. You cannot get time back. Not My Own is a series about what it means to live as a steward rather than an owner — of your body, your skills, your finances, and this week: your time. It is the only resource God gives us that can never be replaced, refunded, or recovered. And most of us spend it like it belongs to us. In Week 4, Beth Guckenberger takes us to Psalm 90 — the only psalm attributed to Moses, likely written near the end of 40 years of wilderness wandering, after watching a generation die — and unpacks one of the most quietly urgent prayers in all of Scripture: "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." That prayer isn’t about calculating how many days you have left. It’s about ordering your life according to God’s purposes. It’s about asking not "how many days do I have?" but "what kind of day is this — and what does it hold?" NOT MY OWN: Week #3 - Not My Money (Matt Massey)
2026/10/11
For most of us, money is our biggest elephant. Apart from Jesus, it’s probably the number one thing we put our hope in. And when we put our hope in it, it will ultimately kill us. But money isn’t the problem. Money is neutral. It’s a gift and a tool from God, given for us to use for His good and His glory. The problem is our hearts. Not My Own is a series about what it means to live as a steward rather than an owner. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). That includes our bodies, our skills, our time, and our money. In Week 3, Matt takes us to Luke 12 and Matthew 6. Jesus talked about money more than almost any other subject. He didn’t do that because money is bad. He did it because we will either love Jesus first and use money for His glory, or love money first and let it use us. NOT MY OWN: Week #2 - Stewarding Our Skills (Clay Harrington)
2026/10/04
Most people hear the word "stewardship" and immediately think: money. Church finances. Tithing. Maybe they flinch a little. But biblical stewardship is so much bigger than that. It covers everything God has entrusted to us — our bodies, our time, our relationships, our finances, and this week: our skills, talents, and abilities. Not My Own is a series about what it means to live as a steward rather than an owner. The earth is the Lord's and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). That includes the gifts He put in you. In Week 2, Teaching Pastor Clay Harrington takes us to Matthew 25:14-30 — the Parable of the Talents — one of Jesus’ most direct teachings on what God expects us to do with what He’s given us. NOT MY OWN: Week #1 - Not My Own Body (Matt Massey)
2026/09/27
What if the way you treat your body changed completely when you realized it doesn't actually belong to you? This week we launch a brand new series called Not My Own — an invitation to encounter Jesus fully by giving yourself fully to Him, and to live in the freedom that comes when God is the owner of everything. Stewardship is one of the most misunderstood words in the church. Most people hear it and think: money. But biblical stewardship covers everything God has entrusted to us — our bodies, our time, our skills, our relationships, our finances. Everything is from God, for God, for us to use for His glory. Week 1 starts with the most personal: the body you're living in right now. RELATIONSHIPS: Week #4 - Family (Clay Harrington)
2026/09/20
Relationships | Week 4: Family Vineyard Cincinnati | Clay Harrington | September 20, 2026 This series is about what God actually says about doing relationships well. Not opinions. Not advice from someone who has it all figured out. God's Word — applied to the marriages, friendships, families, and workplaces we actually live in. We close the series where most of our relational patterns actually begin: at home. Most relational strengths can be traced back to the family. And most relational wounds can too. Family is where love is tested most — because these are the people who actually know us, live with us, disappoint us, and sometimes hurt us. It's easy to appear loving around people we see occasionally. It's much harder to consistently love the people we can't escape. In the final week of Relationships, Teaching Pastor Clay Harrington takes Paul's command to "walk in love" from Ephesians 5 into its most ordinary and intimate application: the home. RELATIONSHIPS: Week #3 - Friendship (Beth Guckenberger)
2026/09/13
This series is about what God actually says about doing relationships well. Not opinions. Not advice from someone who has it all figured out. God's Word — applied to the marriages, friendships, families, and workplaces we actually live in. This week: friendship. The number of people who report having no close personal friends has increased fourfold since 2000. Author and researcher David Brooks reports that 54% of Americans say nobody knows them well. We have more ways to connect than any generation in history — and we are lonelier than ever.  We've done something strange to the word "friend." We know what strangers' homes look like on the inside, where they vacationed, what they ordered for dinner — and most of them aren't really our friends. The world has given us the illusion of connection while quietly replacing the real thing. But the loneliness epidemic isn't just a social problem. It's a spiritual one. And the church has an answer — because God designed us for exactly this. RELATIONSHIPS: Week #2 - Marriage & Dating (Matt Massey)
2026/09/06
This series is about what God actually says about doing relationships well. Not opinions. Not advice from someone who has it all figured out. God's Word — applied to the marriages, friendships, families, and workplaces we actually live in. This week we go to one of the most misread, most misused, most avoided passages in the New Testament: Ephesians 5:22-33. Wives, submit to your husbands. Before you close the tab — read verse 21 first. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. That's the verse most people skip. And it changes everything that follows. The Greek word for submit here is hypotassō — to voluntarily place yourself under another for their good. Not passivity. Not silence. Not a power imbalance dressed up in religious language. It's a posture of strength, rooted in knowing you've already been radically loved and served by Jesus, who submitted himself for us first. And the call isn't just to wives. Paul calls husbands to love their wives the way Christ loved the church — a love that gave everything, held nothing back, and laid down its life. That's not a soft ask. That's the highest standard of love that exists. When both people in a relationship choose that posture — not "what do I get out of this" but "how do I get to serve" — something entirely different becomes possible. RELATIONSHIPS: Week #1 - Foundations (Matt Massey)
2026/08/30
This series is about what God actually says about doing relationships well. Not opinions. Not advice from someone who has it all figured out. God's Word — applied to the marriages, friendships, families, and workplaces we actually live in. Here's where we start: healthy, loving relationships don't begin by finding healthy, loving people. They begin by becoming one. That's a harder truth than most of us want to sit with. But when you look honestly at the common denominator in every strained relationship, every fracture, every falling out you've ever had — there's one person who shows up every single time. You. Not to pile on. That's true for all of us. The question is what we do with it. In Week 1 we open in Ephesians 5:1-2 and trace Paul's argument back through chapters 4 and 3 to show how the call to "walk in love" isn't a suggestion tacked onto the end of a letter. It's the logical conclusion of everything Paul has just said about who Jesus is, what He's done, and what it means to live as someone who's been deeply loved by God. EVERYDAY EVANGELISM: Week #4 - Sharing Your Story (Daniel McKee)
2026/08/23
Sharing your faith doesn't have to feel like a formula. It starts with authentic relationships, honest stories, persistent prayer, and staying open to what God's already doing around you. This series will help you notice everyday moments as chances to love your neighbors well and let your life point them toward Jesus. In the final week of the series, we get practical. Really practical. We've talked about talking about what you love. We've talked about living naturally supernatural. We've talked about the difference between the gospel story and your story. Now we're going to actually help you build yours. Here's what we know about how people change their minds: it's almost never because of an argument. It's because of a story. Someone's personal experience. Something real that happened to a real person who's standing right in front of them. Facts inform. Stories persuade. And you have one.
