S2 e17 - The Fall Guy, an actual good movie

2025/05/06

Oops did Sam and Ny accidentally watch a good movie?! That certainly wasn’t the plan. After a short 10-month break, the dynamic duo are back for an extra special episode recorded in Australia.

S2 e16 - Eclipse, the saga is complete

2024/04/09

Sam and Ny finally finish the saga they started so long ago. After breaking out of the time continuum of watching Breaking Dawn part one 52 times, the pair have finally watched all 5 films and it feels…uh…indescribable.

S2 e15 - New Moon, Edward who?

2022/08/18

Sam and Ny are continuing the OG theme of twilight with New Moon this episode. Overjoyed by a brief absence of Edward, the two get talking about anything but the movie as usual.

S2 e14 - Breaking Dawn Part 2, finally some closure

2022/06/26

Sam and Ny regroup after some time off to watch Breaking Dawn part 2 and finally get some closure on this vampiric saga. With glitter orgasms, racial stereotypes and an “it was all a dream” twist, find out once and for all what happens to the Cullens.

S2 e13 - Downsizing, 50% comedy 50% cult

2022/04/03

Sam and Ny return for the long overdue watch of DOWNSIZING. A movie that can only be described as a wasted opportunity. With such a cool concept and star-studded cast it’s surprising how bad the end result is.

S2 e12 - The Holidate, a will they/won’t they that makes you wish they wouldn’t!

2022/02/14

For their Valentine’s Day special Sam and Ny watch The Holidate starring Emma Roberts and a Poundland knock off Chris Hemsworth in one of the most binary movies to grace our screens. Because all women want marriage and babies - FACT. And all men detest being tied down - FACT. You’ve been warned, this one is a doozie - FACT.

S2 E11 - Batman and Robin…and Poison Ivy and Bane and Mr Freeze and Batgirl

2022/01/05

We suffered major technical difficulties in this ep, please excuse the talking over each other. Sam and Ny introduce a special guest star this week for Batman and Robin; she’s gen Z, she knows her Marvel from her DC and podcasting may just run in her blood.

S2 e10 - The Princess Switch 3, how many more times can they switch?

2021/12/24

Happy Christmas, Season’s Greetings, and a Merry Princess Switch to you! Sam and Ny couldn’t help themselves when they saw there was gong to be a third movie in this festive franchise. Enjoy this extra special Christmas episode!!

S2 e9 - The Hottie And The Nottie, a Paris Hilton film

2021/12/18

This movie is one of Sam’s childhood favourites and brings back some fond memories. The narrative features Paris Hilton (obviously the Hottie) and her hideous friend, the Nottie, sporting hairy legs (how dare she!), an infected toenail, and teeth so bad they could be English. But which of these smart women will win the affections of the male at the end of the film?

EXTRA - The 12 Days of Twilight charity marathon

2021/12/14

Sam’s embarking on another Twilight marathon, this time for good causes. Here she explains the challenge and how you can get involved.

S2 e8 - Cats, Jellicle cats come out tonight

2021/12/13

This week Sam and Ny are venturing into the world of Cats. They’ll be asking questions like “what is a Jellicle cat?” and “where is the Heavy Side Layer?” and “is there actually a storyline?” Join us on this magical journey of trying to figure out how big these human cats are and why there are dancing cockroaches everywhere.

S2 e7 - Glitter, all that glitters is sh*t

2021/12/05

Sam and Ny watch a truly unwatchable film this week, what was supposed to be Mariah Carey’s big break into acting but instead turned into a shambolic, storyline-free, hot mess that will have you questioning everything.

S2 e6 - The Room, the best worst movie ever

2021/11/30

This week Sam and Ny watch possibly the most famous bad movie, The Room. Written, produced, directed and starring the man, the myth, the legend…Tommy Wiseau. This is such a good bad movie it actually has a cult following and people are still paying to meet Tommy Wiseau (including Ny, twice actually).

S2 e5 - Leprechaun, a surprisingly comical horror

2021/11/22

Sam and Ny are BACK! After a brief hiatus caused by Ny over committing herself, having a light breakdown and cancelling everything, the dynamic duo is back on track. This week they discuss Leprechaun, Jennifer Anniston’s 1993 debut on the big screen. It does not disappoint in the bad movie department with horror so bizarre it’s just plain comical.

S2 e4 - Sharknado, and consultation with a Marine Biologist

2021/11/01

This week Sam and Ny watch Sharknado, with special guest star Marlee, Ny’s fiancee who just so happens to be a Marine Biologist. The trio discuss whether a shark infested tornado is possible as well as some of the questionable methods used to escape sharks raining down from the sky. Plus, tune in for some celebrity updates from Sam at the end!
