While we didn't let her go, we certainly realized how much we loved Survivor during the hiatus. It feels so good to be back, we got a ton of changes to sort through and need your full attention. Devin returns to recap an epic episode of Survivor. We had one of the closest challenges in recent memory followed by a layered tribal council. Things are getting spicy over at Sele with all these tribal councils. Meanwhile at Dakal, a storm is brewing, but will they ever have to put pen to paper before a tribe swap? We also talk Rob's game so far, Adam's big move, and Tony being Tony. Feels so good to be back.

Coming back to you with our first live podcast in 5 seasons, we've got a lot to talk about. Obviously we have to talk about the Tyson vote and all of the inner workings of Dakal. Speaking of odd men out, how did Adam do to re-ingratiate himself into the Sele tribe. With the impending tribe swap, will it even matter since new lines will be drawn?

Let's forget the pleasantries and let you know we sincerely hope you're all staying safe out there. Survivor has brought us together, and for that, we're grateful. In case you're looking for more Survivor in this quarantine, Devin and I each give you a favorite season to dive back into if you so please. Back to this season -- tribe swaps are always interesting, and this season didn't disappoint. Each tribe was left with compelling story lines and shifting power dynamics. Of course, Boston Rob exited the show and that leaves us with plenty to reflect on.

We're thrilled to be back for our 50th episode this week to bring you a much needed break from the standard news cycle. It's almost as if Survivor knew what was happening and dropped this double tribal episode on us to help us cope. What an episode it was! The Yara tribe gets immunity and both Sele and Dakal head to tribal council. That was only the beginning and we have a lot to unpack from those 2 tribal councils.

In the penultimate episode before the merge, we lost yet another member of the old-school legion. We also saw a true end of an era when Sandra pulled the flag and went home. We reflect on her legacy, as well as what the future holds for the remaining 19 castaways. Who is a in a good position entering the merge? Who is in trouble?

We are merged! This is where they say the game starts and by "they" we mean "us." We'll break down the first vote and what the means for the post-merge dynamic. How strong are the bonds? Who is next on the block? Don't forget Tyson's reentry to the game! Lot to get through.

Things are starting to pick up in the 2nd episode after the merge. We can't wait to discuss the epic end of Adam's time on the island, complete with all its buildup and fallout. With 10 players left, it's time to speculate wildly on how things are going to go down. Take a listen to hear how we think many of the castaways are positioned.

With half of the castaways left in the game, it looks like the gloves are off. This tribal had 3 advantages played and they each drew a different line in the sand. With just 9 players left, it's becoming clear who the major threats are and where the votes will go. The big question now is whether this marks the beginning of a hectic string of tribal councils or a shift in power dynamics.

This game just keeps heating up. If we thought the gloves were off before, I can't wait to see what a true blindside does to the remaining relationships in this game. Was this week's episode an all-time performance from Sophie? Is Jeremy in the clear now? Are Nick and Michelle drivers, or passengers? A lot of questions still need to be answered.

Another week, another Tony masterclass. Winning immunity and pulling a vote together were both strong items to add to his resume, but several others impressed as well. With 7 left, many questions remain. Are Ben and Jeremy back on good terms after this vote? How far can Sarah go with Tony? Where does this vote leave Denise?

No one loves a double 'sode as much as we do, but hard to say we loved this one. Some questionable game play from a few of the remaining castaways, a pod favorite going home in Jeremy, and the impending return of someone from the Edge have us scratching our heads a bit. There's plenty of story lines that could reemerge, but which are most intriguing to us? Can't leave you hanging without talking about Tony of course. The man is on a mission. Mission impossible? We'll see.
