Week 1 & the Prophet Playoff Theory Revealed
2026/09/15
Kev and Rashad kick off the 2026 NFL season by breaking down everything Week 1 had to offer — the biggest surprises, statement wins, disappointments, and the teams that may have already changed the way we look at them heading into Week 2. From the Bears putting up 59, to the Bills making a statement against Houston, the Giants shocking Dallas, and plenty of teams already giving us reasons to believe… or panic.
Then it’s time to put the Prophet Playoff Theory to work. The guys revisit exactly what goes into the theory and reveal the current playoff list. How does the formula see the NFL compared to Kev and Rashad? Where do their personal playoff predictions line up with the theory, and where do they completely disagree? Which teams are being validated, which teams are already on upset alert, and who could crash the playoff party?

Theory Continues: 2026 NFC North
2026/09/10
The NFC North is one of the toughest divisions in football, but which team has what it takes to rise above the rest? We start in Chicago, where all eyes are on Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson and the Bears’ offense. With a new offensive vision in place, can Chicago finally take the next step, or will the defense hold them back from competing in a loaded division?
The Lions have the easiest schedule in the league, giving Detroit a major opportunity to stay on top. But will the offense keep clicking with a new offensive coordinator? And with injuries affecting key players on defense, can that unit hold up when the competition gets tougher?
The Packers’ biggest setback could be their stars failing to return to form in time. Can Jordan Love ascend and lead Green Bay to the top of the NFC North while the team waits for Micah Parsons to return?
Then there are the Vikings, who managed to win games despite inconsistent quarterback play. Will Kyler Murray set things right and finally give Minnesota the stability it needs? Kev and Rashad believe the Vikings have the best roster in the division, but will the quarterback play measure up with the rest of the NFC North?

Theory Continues: 2026 NFC South
2026/09/09
We start in Atlanta, where the Falcons’ QB situation has Kev questioning whether this team can find any consistency. With Tua Tagovailoa getting the Week 1 nod over Michael Penix Jr., the pressure is already on. Then there’s the Falcons defense. Kev questions how much we should believe in their defensive prowess after losing key pieces from the pass rush — especially after spending last season trying to rebuild that unit.
The Panthers made the playoffs last season, but Rashad isn’t convinced they can repeat. With a tougher schedule ahead, can Carolina actually take that next step, or are we looking at a step backward?
Meanwhile, Kev is ALL IN on the Saints. After seeing Kellen Moore’s offense begin to take shape late last season, Kev believes New Orleans is ready for an ascension and could be the surprise team of the NFC South.
And don’t count out Rashad’s Buccaneers. He still believes Tampa Bay has the experience, talent and consistency to navigate what could once again be the NFL’s weakest division.

Theory Continues: 2026 NFC West
2026/09/02
Prophet Playoff Theory is back — and this time we’re breaking down the NFC West!
We start with the lonely Arizona Cardinals. Are they a team without direction, or is there actually a plan in place? Kev asks the big question: Do the Cardinals give Carson Beck a real shot at quarterback?
Then we get to the first Super Bowl-or-bust team: the Los Angeles Rams. Aaron Donald is BACK, Matthew Stafford is coming off an MVP season, the Rams traded for superstar Myles Garrett, and Sean McVay remains one of the best coaches in football. With all that firepower, is anything short of a Super Bowl appearance a failure for LA?
Next up, the San Francisco 49ers. They’ve been in the headlines for plenty of reasons this offseason, not including football related means— but can they put the noise behind them and make another championship run? And is this ultimately their last “Go For It” year with this core?
Finally, the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are chasing back-to-back titles. But with Klint Kubiak leaving for Las Vegas and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker now in Kansas City, will the offense take a step back? Rashad says the Seahawks are underrated… but are they REALLY?

Theory Continues: 2026 NFC East
2026/08/31
We’re breaking down the NFC East in this episode of The Prophet Playoff Theory — We start with the Dallas Cowboys, who completely overhauled the defensive side of the ball after major struggles last season. Can all these new pieces finally give Dallas the defense it needs to complement what was one of the NFL’s best offenses?
Then we head to New York, where John Harbaugh takes over as head coach. The Giants have plenty of optimism surrounding the new regime, but the Prophets have questions about Matt Nagy running the offense and what that means for Jaxson Dart’s development. Can Harbaugh get the Giants back into playoff contention immediately?
The Philadelphia Eagles are chasing a third straight NFC East division title. But with the A.J. Brown traded and changes around the offense, we have to ask: does losing Brown actually make this offense better, or is Philadelphia taking a major step backward?
And finally, the Washington Commanders. Kev isn’t exactly a believer — but out of respect for Jayden Daniels, the Prophets are giving Washington somewhere in the 7-to-9 win range. But could this season completely go off the rails if Daniels can’t stay healthy and the team doesn’t take the expected step forward?

Theory Continues: 2026 AFC West
2026/08/26
The Prophet Playoff Theory is back, and this time we’re breaking down the AFC West — a division loaded with questions, expectations, and plenty of room for the Prophets to disagree.
We start with last year’s division champs, the Denver Broncos. Was their success in one-score games a sign of a team that knows how to win, or is regression to the mean coming? Will Bo Nix take another major step forward, or has Sean Payton already put him in the perfect situation?
Then there’s the Kansas City Chiefs. After a rare down year, Kansas City is retooling — and Rashad and Kev aren’t exactly impressed with everything they see. But there are two things that make counting out the Chiefs dangerous: Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. When you have those two, anything is possible.
In Las Vegas, the Raiders bring in Klint Kubiak to lead the offense, With rookie Fernando Mendoza waiting in the wings, could Vegas have a bigger decision on its hands than expected?
And finally… “The Chargers are the Chargers.” — Rashad. We all know what that means. The Los Angeles Chargers have the talent, Justin Herbert, and a roster capable of competing for the division. But can they stay healthy in the spots that matter most? If the offensive line and key defensive pieces stay healthy, could this finally be the year the Chargers turn potential into playoff success?

Theory Continues: 2026 AFC North
2026/08/24
The Prophet Playoff Theory heads to the AFC North, where all four teams enter 2026 with major questions, new leadership and plenty of pressure.
First up: The Baltimore Ravens. Jesse Minter takes over as head coach and brings his defensive prowess to a team led by two-time MVP Lamar Jackson. Can Minter get Baltimore’s defense back to its dominant ways? Will Derrick Henry finally fall off a cliff, and can the offensive line keep this offense from being its own worst enemy?
The Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati can’t afford another slow start. Joe Burrow’s health remains one of the biggest questions surrounding this team, but for the first time in a while, the Bengals have made major investments in their defense. Can Burrow make it through the entire season, and will the revamped defense finally give Cincinnati the ability to win some low-scoring games when the offense isn’t carrying the team?
The Cleveland Browns. Cleveland has a decision to make at quarterback, and Rashad and Keven aren’t waiting around — they believe Shedeur Sanders should start right away. Can the 2nd year QB take control of the offense and give the Browns a real direction at quarterback? And with Andrew Berry still running the front office, will Cleveland continue to hit on the draft picks needed to build this team back up?
The Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike McCarthy is in, and so is Aaron Rodgers for what could be his final NFL season. Is McCarthy’s system the perfect fit for this version of Rodgers, or are we asking too much from a 42-year-old quarterback? Can the McCarthy-Rodgers reunion recreate some of that Green Bay magic? And with Mike Tomlin no longer on the sideline, can Pittsburgh still find a way to finish around .500 or better?

Theory Continues: 2026 AFC South
2026/08/19
Episode 4 of Prophet Playoff Theory heads to the AFC South, where the division has become one of the most intriguing in football. Houston, Jacksonville and Indianapolis all have legitimate playoff aspirations, while Tennessee is trying to establish a new identity around Cam Ward.
The last time we saw Houston, a five-turnover game helped cost them another playoff opportunity. The defense is arguably the best in the business, but how much more can this roster accomplish if C.J. Stroud takes the next step? With this much talent around him, what does Stroud need to do to make sure he doesn’t waste his opportunity?
The Colts have made some massive financial and personnel commitments, including trading two first-round picks for Sauce Gardner and paying Alec Pierce after his breakout season. With Pierce already dealing with an injury, did Indianapolis put too many chips on the table? And just how much can the return of Daniel Jones change this team and get the Colts back into the playoff picture?
Keven is officially buying the Jaguars. After their playoff berth and division title last season, expectations are much higher in Jacksonville. Is this finally the year Trevor Lawrence cements himself as one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks? And why should both Keven and Rashad expect even more from this team after last season’s breakthrough?
What does “good” actually look like for the Titans? Tennessee brings in Robert Saleh and Brian Daboll to help Cam Ward and a young roster take the next step. After a three-win season, can a more experienced coaching staff provide the structure this team desperately needs? Is this simply a rebuilding year—or could the Titans surprise the AFC South?

Theory Continues: 2026 AFC East
2026/08/17
The AFC East has a completely different look heading into 2026, and Prophet Playoff Theory is breaking down what’s real, what’s hype, and who is actually built to make a playoff run.
Buffalo Bills: A new face is leading the way as Joe Brady takes over in Buffalo. With Josh Allen still at the center of everything, Keven asks the biggest question yet: Is it finally time for the Bills’ draft picks to hit, or is Josh Allen’s championship window starting to close? After years of regular-season success without a Super Bowl appearance, the pressure is officially on.
Miami Dolphins: Miami has gone through a complete overhaul — new front office, new head coach, new quarterback and a dramatically different roster. But how much success should we realistically expect from a team rebuilding from the ground up? Why is screaming UNDER the right call for Miami in 2026?
New England Patriots: After going from one of the league’s worst teams to just one win away from a Super Bowl championship, can the Patriots keep the momentum going? More importantly, has Drake Maye officially taken the next step, and does he have what it takes to become one of the AFC’s elite quarterbacks?
New York Jets: Is Aaron Glenn a sitting duck? After a brutal first season, what does success actually look like for the Jets in Year 2? With another reset underway, did New York waste valuable time, or is the rebuild finally heading in the right direction?

"Coaches Coach", the Prophet Playoff Theory 2026
2026/08/04
The Prophet Playoff Theory rolls on as Preach Kev Preach with Rashad ranks every NFL head coach from No. 32 all the way to No. 1 heading into the 2026 season. Which coaches are building championship cultures, and which ones are already on the hot seat?
We debate who could become the first head coach fired this season, whether Kellen Moore can quickly establish himself as one of the NFL’s brightest offensive minds, and which coach will emerge from the loaded NFC North featuring Dan Campbell, Kevin O’Connell, Matt LaFleur, and Ben Johnson. We also break down one of the league’s premier coaching rivalries in the NFC West as Sean McVay and Mike Macdonald continue to battle for division supremacy. Finally, we explain why Andy Reid remains our No. 1 head coach for the fifth consecutive year, and what separates him from the rest of the league despite another offseason of coaching turnover. If you love NFL coaching strategy, roster building, culture, and the impact head coaches have on winning championships, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

Brother, its the Prophet Playoff Theory: The QB List 2026
2026/08/02
The Prophet Playoff Theory returns with one of our biggest episodes yet as we rank every NFL starting quarterback from 32 all the way to No. 1. Which QBs are overrated, underrated, and who just missed the elite tier? We break down the Browns’ quarterback disaster and what the future holds in Cleveland (3:40). Then we dive into the development of the league’s young signal callers, discussing what Year 2 could look like for Cam Ward, Tyler Shough, and Jaxson Dart, and whether they have what it takes to become franchise quarterbacks (23:02)
Rashad explains why he’s getting dangerously close to giving up on Jordan Love (39:00), while we debate just how high Caleb Williams’ ceiling really is (44:10). We also ask if we’re placing Justin Herbert a little too high in our rankings, or if he’s finally ready to make the leap into the NFL’s elite (49:40).
Finally, we reveal a major shake-up at the top of our quarterback rankings as the Big Four become the Big Five, with another quarterback earning a spot in our top tier—a player we believe is building a résumé worthy of a first-ballot Hall of Fame career (54:33). Who landed where? Who will spark the biggest debate? Tune in and find out on Preach Kev Preach with Rashad.

Do Your Research
2026/07/21
The World Cup has officially come to an end. From Spain lifting the trophy to the way Argentina suddenly became the tournament’s villain in the closing stages. We discuss how the narrative shifted, whether the criticism was deserved, and give Spain the credit they earned after an incredible championship run.
Then we dive into another NBA offseason move: the three-team blockbuster between the Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, and Atlanta Hawks. We explain how the deal saved OKC significant money, why the Hawks may have quietly won by landing Lu Dort, and how the Mavericks are betting on the upside of Zaccharie Risacher. Is this one of those rare trades where every franchise walks away happy? We break down why it has the potential to be a true win-win-win, how Atlanta got let off the hook, and why Sam Presti continues to prove he’s one of the NBA’s premier executives. To close the show, we shift our focus to the NFL as we begin preparing for another season of the Prophet Playoff Theory. We discuss what we’re looking for heading into the year, the teams already catching our attention, and set the stage for one of our favorite annual predictions.

Heat Check & Draft Effects
2026/06/24
This week on The Prophets, Kev and Rashad break down the Dallas Mavericks hiring Dusty May as their next head coach after leading Michigan to a national championship. A fascinating twist of Dallas pairing May with former Michigan star Morez Johnson while continuing to build around Cooper Flagg. Is this the start of something special in Dallas, or are the Mavericks taking a massive gamble on a coach with no NBA experience? Then we head to Portland, where the Trail Blazers filled the league’s final coaching vacancy by hiring Micah Nori. While many around the league respect Nori’s basketball mind, the contract details have people talking. Later, we discuss the Julius Randle sign-and-trade to Brooklyn and what it means for the future of the Minnesota Timberwolves. How does this impact Anthony Edwards’ championship window? Did Minnesota get better, worse, or simply more flexible as they continue trying to build a contender around their superstar? We also dive into the blockbuster Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to Miami. What do we love about the deal? What concerns us? Did the Heat finally land the superstar they’ve been chasing, and did Milwaukee get enough in return?

After All That....
2026/06/15
The Knicks are NBA Champions, and we had Chris LeBron join us to break down what the moment meant to him as a lifelong Knicks fan and how he felt watching New York finally reach the mountaintop.
Kev and Rashad dive into the Knicks’ championship run, Jalen Brunson earning Finals MVP honors, and the biggest question from the series: did the Spurs’ youth and inexperience cost them after holding double-digit leads in multiple games, or did the Knicks simply prove they were the better team when it mattered most?
We also discuss where this Knicks championship ranks among recent title teams, what the Spurs can learn from the loss, and the biggest offseason moves we’re watching as the NBA offseason officially begins.
