A new collaboration has hit the streets as part of Adidas’ merch drop ahead of the 2026 World Cup. On Episode 177, American Outlaws co-founder Justin Brunken stops by to chat about a cool shoe they have released for members and fans alike. Justin speaks on the inspiration behind the new AO shoe and how they came to collaborate with Adidas to design a shoe to try and bridge the gap between the 1994 World Cup and today. The 2026 World Cup is a few months away, and Mauricio Pochettino spoke some piercing words about the “duty” of players and coaches to comment on World Cup ticket prices. We discuss his comments on Episode 173. In a virtual press conference yesterday, Pochettino was asked whether FIFA was doing all it could to make the World Cup affordable for supporters after Tim Weah commented last week that World Cup tickets were too expensive and pricing out fans. Pochettino’s response? Weah and the rest of the players should focus on the field, not the other stuff. We take Pochettino’s comments to task on this episode, emphasizing the platform that players and coaches have and the true duty to use that platform to help bring the changes that will help make not just the World Cup successful but make the game grow and improve. Pochettino’s comments were disappointing, to say the least. We spend some time on why they were disappointing.
