Premier matchweek 7 recap “The definition of Vitality”
2026/10/20
Week 7 was not a Derby weekend, but it was a rivalry weekend, and the Premier League gave us two entertaining ones for different reasons. We’re recapping it all over smoky mezcal margaritas. Brighton 5, Palace 0: Three goals in the first ten minutes at the Gatwicko. One good decision and two bad ones for Benitez, and Palace changes every week. The Seagulls are at 23 goals with 11 different scorers. Leeds 1, Man U 1: Chippy, physical, loud, and wild. Mbeumo and DCL are starting to find their boots. Man U sits on 7 points from 7 matches, out of the cup and beaten in the Champions League. Three sides finally got wins, which means everyone in the league has now won a match. Fulham got there with the old guard doing the work, and we ask whether this is where Hull starts to slip. Bournemouth wasn’t pretty, but the Cherries are on the board, and Sunderland saw red, so we wonder if the workload is too much. Spurs scored as many goals in one match as they had all season, with Madison and Marmoush on the sheet, and they’re out of the drop.   Then the rest, in our “oh, so that happened” segment.   Week 7 Results Brighton 5, Crystal Palace 0 Leeds 1, Manchester United 1 Fulham 1, Hull City 0 Bournemouth 2, Sunderland 0 Tottenham 3, Coventry 1 Chelsea 2, Everton 0 Liverpool 2, Brentford 1 Manchester City 3, Ipswich 2 Aston Villa 1, Newcastle 0 Arsenal 1, Nottingham Forest 0   🌐 www.Dufootballshow.com 🎧 patreon.com/dufootballshow 🛒 www.DUdripshack.com 📧 [email protected] 📱 @DUfootballshow on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
“Stopped Force VS Moveable Object” Premier matchweek 6 recap
2026/10/13
The top of the table held, the middle got weird, and there’s a seagull in the room we need to talk about. Arsenal edge Leeds, City dismantle Liverpool, and Brighton keep winning on tough grounds. Spurs and United still have one win between them. Is it nerves or coaching? We sort through the rest of the weekend with a glass of Chattanooga Whiskey Ice Wine finish.   🌐 www.Dufootballshow.com 🎧 patreon.com/dufootballshow 🛒 www.DUdripshack.com 📧 [email protected] 📱 @DUfootballshow on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
Man City, What a Sham

Surprise! New podcast alert: Sam Huston and Sam Graham came into the studio on their week off for one reason: the Premier League found Manchester City guilty on 115 charges. Premier League matchweek 5 recap “Direct Eye Contact”
2026/09/22
Drunkard United Football Show is back with full highlights of Week 5 English Premier League action. Sam Huston and Sam Graham break down every single match. They watch every game, so you don't have to. Man City put five past Sunderland in an eight-goal shootout to move top of the table, with Brian Brobbey grabbing a hat-trick. Arsenal's unbeaten start ends in a 3-0 shock at Brighton. Chelsea's defensive struggles continue in a loss to Brentford, while Everton stay unbeaten since Carlo's arrival. Plus two VAR calls worth arguing about, a wild finish at Newcastle, and the Sams check in on their season-long bet (spoiler: it's not going well for the Gooners fan). New episode up now at dufootballshow.com or wherever you get your podcasts. Coverage order — Week 5 Man City 5 – Sunderland 3 Brighton 3 – Arsenal 0 Everton 1 – Ipswich 0 Forest 0 – Coventry 1 Newcastle 2 – Hull 1 Tottenham 2 – Villa 3 Brentford 3 – Chelsea 0 Bournemouth 0 – Liverpool 1 Leeds 0 – Palace 0 Fulham 1 – United 1   🌐 www.Dufootballshow.com 🎧 patreon.com/dufootballshow 🛒 www.DUdripshack.com 📧 [email protected] 📱 @DUfootballshow on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
Premier League matchweek 4 recap “The Rebranding is Ridiculous”
2026/09/15
Arsenal held off a scrappy Sunderland side, 2-0. David Raya's penalty save on Le Fée kept it level before Bruno G broke through two minutes later. Manchester City won 1-0 at Old Trafford despite playing over an hour with ten men, a result that says as much about United's toothlessness as it does about City's resilience. Among the newly promoted clubs, Brighton put five past Coventry as the Sky Blues' struggles deepen, Ipswich edged Palace 3-2 on the road despite a second half red card, and Hull held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw built on two costly Chelsea mistakes. Three very different trajectories for three new arrivals. Elsewhere, Forest beat Villa 2-1 behind a new signing's impact, Liverpool and Fulham played out a strange goalless draw built on defensive errors, Bournemouth and Brentford shared a wild 2-2, Everton and Spurs cancelled each other out at 0-0, and Leeds thumped Newcastle 4-1 in a manic 17-minute spell either side of half time. Away from the pitch, Sam Huston came into this one fired up, and it led to a heated back and forth with Sam Graham. The Sams break it all down this week on the DU Football Show. New episode up now at dufootballshow.com or wherever you get your podcasts.   Coverage order — Week 4 Arsenal 2 – Sunderland 0 Man City 1 – Man United 0 Brighton 5 – Coventry 0 Ipswich 3 – Palace 2 Hull City 2 – Chelsea 2 Forest 2 – Villa 1 Liverpool 0 – Fulham 0 Bournemouth 2 – Brentford 2 Everton 0 – Spurs 0 Leeds 4 – Newcastle 1   🌐 www.Dufootballshow.com 🎧 patreon.com/dufootballshow 🛒 www.DUdripshack.com 📧 [email protected] 📱 @DUfootballshow on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
“A Proper Tip of the Spear” Premier League matchweek 3 recap
2026/09/08
Two teams are still perfect through three games, and getting there looked nothing alike. City scrape past Coventry, Arsenal edge Chelsea in a genuine classic, and the rest of the table just can't stop drawing. The Sams break down every result from Week 3.   Games Covered — Week 3 Arsenal 2 – 1 Chelsea Man City 1 – 0 Coventry City Liverpool 2 – 0 Ipswich Palace 3 – 2 Fulham Newcastle 2 – 2 Bournemouth Everton 2 – 2 Man United Brentford 1 – 1 Sunderland Brighton 1 – 1 Leeds Forest 0 – 0 Tottenham Villa 0 – 0 Hull City   🌐 www.Dufootballshow.com 🎧 patreon.com/dufootballshow 🛒 www.DUdripshack.com 📧 [email protected] 📱 @DUfootballshow on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
“Stop Being Humble” Premier League matchweek 2 recap
2026/09/01
Week 2, every match covered. Two early Arsenal title challengers already showing cracks. Spurs and Villa heading opposite directions in North London. And a Sunday full of chaos everywhere else. City needed a slow start before Cherki and Haaland braces buried Palace. Chelsea keep winning and keep leaking goals, even with Emi back. Brighton hung around but were they ever really in it? Spurs looked fine in the first half, then fell apart. Newcastle's Nico settled in immediately, Elanga's in form, Wissa's scoring. Villa look improved even without Emi and Ollie, and Arsenal's win sets up a clash with Chelsea's attack next. Elsewhere: Liverpool came from behind twice in two weeks. Hull's loss to Coventry might be a preview of their season. Everton and Bournemouth traded goalkeeping heroics before Tarkowski's late equalizer. Sunderland edged Fulham on a Leno mistake. United flipped their game against Ipswich at the break.   www.Dufootballshow.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow TikTok @DUfootballshow YouTube @DUfootballshow Support the bar tab and get extra content: https://www.patreon.com/dufootballshow www.DUdripshack.com
Spicy Takes: EPL Week 1 Recap
2026/08/25
Week 1 of the Premier League is in the books, and the Sams are recapping every match. Brentford stunned Spurs 3-0 behind new signing Sangare, while Brighton put four past a short-handed Villa side missing Ollie Watkins. Plus: Arsenal cruise past Coventry, Newcastle draw with Liverpool, and Chelsea survive a Fulham scare despite a rough day for Sanchez. Matches covered: Brentford 3-0 Tottenham Brighton 4-0 Aston Villa Hull City 2-0 Manchester United Ipswich Town 2-1 Sunderland Arsenal 3-0 Coventry City Everton 2-0 Crystal Palace Leeds United 1-0 Nottingham Forest Manchester City 2-1 Bournemouth Newcastle 2-2 Liverpool Chelsea 3-2 Fulham www.Dufootballshow.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow TikTok @DUfootballshow YouTube @DUfootballshow Support the bar tab and get extra content: https://www.patreon.com/dufootballshow www.DUdripshack.com

Getting to Know Hull City
2026/08/13
No guest this time, just Sam and Sammy talking about the final promoted team -Hull City.   The Tigers punched their way into the Premier League against all odds, sneaking into the playoffs on the final day of the season and knocking out Millwall along the way after early-season odds had them going down. They dig into Hull's history as a rugby town with a football club stuck bouncing between the second and third divisions, their brief and rocky stints in the Prem back in '08, '13, and '16, and the near-miss 2014 FA Cup final against Arsenal. Plus the offseason moves — veteran signings Jack Butland, Matt Targett, and Hidemasa Morita, the loss of breakout goalkeeper Ivor Pandur, and whether this squad of has-beens and never-weres can actually stay up. Recorded at DU Public House, drink in hand as always. Out now wherever you get your podcasts. Getting to Know Ipswich Town
2026/08/09
Ipswich Town bounced right back to the Premier League after last season's relegation, and Sam and Sammy sit down with Ben to unpack how they did it. They get into last season's promotion push, the surprise departure of manager Kieran McKenna, and what Gary O'Neil's tactics might look like this time around. They also cover the Tractor Boys' biggest signings, remaining needs heading into the season, and the rivalries that'll define their Premier League return. Getting to Know Coventry City
2026/08/04
Sam Huston and Samuel Graham are back with another season of biased EPL.  We are getting to know the newly promoted teams. This week: Coventry City, the Sky Blues, a club that hasn't sniffed the top flight since 2001 and is finally back in the Prem. Joe joins the show to walk us through 25 years of playoff heartbreak, what Frank Lampard changed to finally get this team promoted, and whether double-digit scorers Wright and Simms can hack it in the Prem. They also get into key departures, incoming signings, and where Coventry still needs work before kickoff. Recorded live from the DU Public House with drinks in hand, because that's the rule.  For this episode, we are drinking Warner’s Raspberry Gin.  Season starts soon – Subscribe and share with a friend!  Drunkard United Football show covers every single game.   www.Dufootballshow.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow TikTok @DUfootballshow YouTube @DUfootballshow Support the bar tab and get extra content: https://www.patreon.com/dufootballshow
Premier League week 38 Season wrap-up “So much Malört ”
2026/05/26
It's over. The whistle has blown on the season — and Graham's Arsenal are Champions. The crew is back for the final show of the year and they are not holding back. They break down the midweek draw that handed the Gunners the title, Spurs' defeat that threw a lifeline to West Ham, and then go full timeline — match by match — through the battle for safety and the fight for European spots that kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end. Plus, the Prem gets a new face: Hull City arrive after their Wembley promotion, and the crew gives them their proper welcome. And because it's the finale, both of the guys are settling up their gentleman's bets from the season, which means the Malört cocktails are flowing. All three of them. It's been a season. Pour one and raise a glass with us.   www.Dufootballshow.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow TikTok @DUfootballshow YouTube @DUfootballshow Support the bar tab and get extra content: https://www.patreon.com/dufootballshow www.DUdripshack.com
Premier League week 37 “Force of Velocity”
2026/05/19
Seven clubs. One Europa dream. Zero guarantees. With the season in its final stretch, the Sams break down the most unpredictable European race on the card. Bournemouth, Brighton, and Brentford are making their case loud and clear. Chelsea and Everton? Running out of road.   Arsenal is closing in on the title with City in pursuit, but the Gunners look like a team that knows the moment is theirs. At the other end of the table, West Ham and Spurs are scrambling to survive — and the margin for error is gone.   Off the pitch: Salah is eyeing the exit, and Bruno Fernandes is chasing something historic. The Sams get into all of it.   And to pour out the new era: the Gin Binge begins. First up — Hendrick's. Rose petals, cucumber, and football. Obviously.   Grab a drink and listen   Sunderland 3 - Everton 1 Brentford 2 - Palace 2 Leeds 1 - Brighton 0 Man City 3 - Palace 0 Arsenal 1 - Burnley 0 Villa 4 - Liverpool 2 Newcastle 3 - West Ham 1 Man United 3 - Forest 2 Wolves 1 - Fulham 1     www.Dufootballshow.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow TikTok @DUfootballshow YouTube @DUfootballshow Support the bar tab and get extra content: https://www.patreon.com/dufootballshow www.DUdripshack.com
Premier League week 36 “Be mad at what they got wrong”
2026/05/12
The Sams are back and the title race just got interesting. City handled business with a clean sheet against Brentford to set the weekend's tone — then Arsenal answered late to keep the pressure on. With the Gunners right on their heels, the race to the top is far from settled.   Meanwhile, the bottom of the table is getting chaotic in the best possible way. Six clubs are scrapping for Champions League spots, and don't sleep on Bournemouth and Brighton — the Cherries and Seagulls are making a serious case for that final berth.   Everyone else? Draws. Lots of draws. Villa and Burnley traded blows in a 2-2 barnburner, Everton and Palace couldn't be separated, and Forest held Newcastle to a point. Sunderland and United played out a snooze fest, and Leeds and Spurs managed to cancel each other out. There were goals — just not necessarily winners.   The crew wraps up in style, finishing off the Whisky Advocate Top 20 countdown right at the top: #1 goes to Elijah Craig 12-Year Barrel Proof Rye. Was it worth the wait? You already know the answer.   All that and more — pour something good and press play.   Man City 3 - Brentford 0 Arsenal 1 - West Ham 0 Bournemouth 1 - Fulham 0 Brighton 3 - Wolverhampton 0 Liverpool 1 - Chelsea 1 Sunderland 0 - Man United 0 Villa 2 - Burnley 2 Everton 2 - Palace 2 Forest 1 - Newcastle 1 Leeds 1 - Spurs 1   www.Dufootballshow.com Facebook @DUfootballshow Instagram @DUfootballshow TikTok @DUfootballshow YouTube @DUfootballshow   Support the bar tab and get extra content: https://www.patreon.com/dufootballshow www.DUdripshack.com
