Nikki & Neil are joined by Alexander Johnson - Nikki's brother-in-law and former UT Vol star who played in the NFL. He was a Freshman All-American, led the SEC in tackles with 138 in 2012, and earned First-team All-SEC honors in 2013 with 106 tackles. He went on to play in the NFL with the Denver Broncos (2018–2021), recording 93 tackles in 2019 and a career-high 124 tackles in 2020, before stints with the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins. AJ's story is one of adversity - and he talks about what happened in college to prevent him from going into the NFL immediately... why he's not angry, yet grateful and blessed.

Most people would've stopped there. He didn't. While he was still in the hospital, he realized how many other kids like him didn't have access to the prosthetics they needed to just live active lives. So he started the Jordan Thomas Foundation right then and there. Twenty years later, that foundation has helped over 200 kids in 33 states get the limbs they need to run, play, and grow up like any other kid. Jordan's been named a CNN Hero, earned the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, and become one of the most quietly powerful voices for resilience in Nashville. His motto says it all: Press On. He's also an incredible athlete: Jordan is ranked as the No. 2 double-amputee golfer in the world and the top adaptive player in North America. Nikki and Neil sit down with Jordan to talk about the accident that changed his life, the split-second decision that built an entire nonprofit, and what "pressing on" actually looks like when life takes something you can't get back.
