And finally a small village torn in two by rival gangs in Yojimbo. And let’s not forget the fallout from Lanterns as we work at solving Hal’s murder.

For 225 we humble request you take a journey with us! We will get to see the countryside (FORESTside) in It Ends. Then we might just end up in California in Chungking Express. And then we get Shakespearean while we find ghosts hiding in the trees in Throne of Blood! Then we wrap up at the funeral for a Green Lantern…

For 224 we find ourselves yearning for so much! We yearn for another while trying to clear our name in Alfred Hitchcock’s North By Northwest. We try and decipher this maddening tale of therapy and figure out what’s going on in Persona. And we settle in for one of the blockbusters of this year with Supergirl. And then you guessed it, episode 5 of Lanterns breaks the hold the internet has on me as I just really fall for this show more and more!!

223 is all about the art. The struggle of a starving artist, the decisions and choices of being great, and the struggles of having made it! We start with a wild one and a buffalo painting in The Driller Killer. Then move onto the whimsical dance of being a legendary ballerina. And finally McKellen proves that once greatness is found, it’s never easy to hold onto or forget! Then we wrap up and talk more Lanterns as the Internet seems to be swaying my ear…

We are just filled with fights and battles for you!! Hanging out on Criterion with The Battle of Algiers and Long Hot Summer finds us in some uncomfortable situations. The flick for revenge, Is God Is, helps us put pieces together. And then The Furious hands us an adrenaline fueled drive of action we enjoyed so much!!! Also we start talking about some possible theories about Lanterns with the third episode now!

We find a couple more we enjoy in the pile of movies! In the Mood for Love is this great tale of yearning the looks and sounds great! Passenger is tagging along with us because we briefly stopped. But Mother Mary holds all our attention and we couldn’t get enough!! We also chat more Lanterns with the second episode!

I finally got around to watching Brand New Day and immediately called Luke to hash out how he felt about it and where it falls for a Spidey film for us!!

What do you know about being scared? If you need to, you can hold our hand while we go to Cape Fear. Then we take a look at Strangers Chapter 1. We then visit our old crazy friend Mifune in Rashomon as we go through different vantage points of a singular event. And then we land back here on earth. Specifically Nebraska and the first Episode of Lanterns in James Gunn’s DCUniverse.

Our jurisdiction is right here and taking you all over the place. We’re starting with The Rock and his Southland Tales. From there we jump way back in time to a lock down city where the criminals band together to catch one of the worst among them in M. And finally recently paroled, we find ourself (with Dustin Hoffman, Gary Busey, and Harry Dean Stanton) on the same path of bad decisions trying to figure out what comes next!

We’ve got all the sharks for ya this week! The Night of the Hunter brings a shark with a slick tongue to town. The Devils Mouth has an actual shark and the perils these teenagers find themselves in! And The Drama is one of the most emotional and mental wrecking shark of the whole shebang with a issue that will sideswipe you for certain!

What an absolutely devastating episode we bring to your table…a scary movie, weather patterns…and a VERY heavy discussion about the chaos that exists in raising a family. Do Not Enter is thrill seekers searching an abandoned hotel that is seemingly haunted. Pressure shows us different elements that were at play during WW2 and DDay…and then Blue Heron deals with a filmmakers way of coping with a tragedy that befell them and her parents not being able to care for the eldest…and dealing with that fallout…a truly remarkable movie!

What if you just had movies full of unlikeable characters?! Can the movies be saved?! We start jumping off the cliff with Chris Nolan’s first movie, Following. Then we’re lead along the bones of the Iliad with Brad Pitt leading the charge into battle as Achilles against Troy. And then we’re lead along look into the latest horror movie making bank at theaters, Obsession!

We got an episode filled with growing old (or at least trying to)…Hackman and Dafoe lead the charge in finding out about some murders in the South. Then we get to follow Harry Dean Stanton in Lucky as he comes to terms with a well lived life. And then we finish with a married couple ready to toss in the towel…but things continue obstructing all the plans!

How many people are going to die this episode?! We go from a family, to multiple families…and possibly half the world’s population?!?! Honestly the Evil Dead-esque Mummy works better as that. We love that Samara is back and kicking plenty more ass in Ready or Not 2! And Gosling captures our heart while saving our world in Project Hail Mary!
