Restored - "Rest Reorients Me for the World" W/ Demetrious Ball 07/26/26
2026/07/30
Rest helps us engage the world from trust instead of anxiety, control, or burnout. Rest is not retreating from the world forever; it is being re-centered in God so we can return to the world with clarity, compassion, and courage. Rest reminds us that we are not the savior. Jesus is. A restless people often become reactive people. We doomscroll, overwork, overcommit, argue, consume, and try to control what only God can hold. Biblical rest teaches us to be still before God so we can be sent back into the world as people of peace. Eastown was created for you! It’s for people who want to explore faith without feeling judged in the process. It’s a place for the skeptic, those who have “tried church,” and those who aren’t even sure if there’s anything to believe in. There are no expectations here. Just love, community and a whole lot of fun together.  Get connected to Eastown: https://www.eastown.church/ https://www.instagram.com/eastownchurch/ https://www.facebook.com/Eastownchurch https://linktr.ee/eastownchurch
