How Do You Get High-Ticket Clients Without a Large Following?
2026/10/20
You're spending hours creating content, but when your Reel gets 200 views, you start wondering if any of it is actually working. Should you be posting more? Trying different hooks? Creating more short-form videos? Before you spend another hour trying to beat the algorithm, there's something worth considering:
Does your business actually need thousands of views to make sales? If you're a coach, consultant, or service provider selling $3,000–$15,000+ offers, your marketing needs are very different from someone selling a $97 digital product. In this episode, I'm breaking down how to think about your content strategy based on your business model, the buyers you're trying to reach, and what actually influences someone to hire you.
Why You Should Listen
More views don't automatically mean more clients. Why 200 views from the right people can be more valuable than thousands of views from people who will never buy.Stop copying marketing strategies built for a different business model. Understand why daily Reels, trending content, and audience growth tactics aren't always the best use of your time when selling high-ticket services.Creating content and creating content that sells require different skills. Learn why buyer psychology, messaging, and reducing perceived risk matter when someone is considering a $5K–$15K investment.Know when to prioritize reach versus conversion. How to determine whether your business needs more people discovering you or better content to help your existing audience make a buying decision.Use your limited marketing time more intentionally. Why long-form content, livestreams, podcasts, and relationship-building may deserve more attention than producing another batch of short-form videos. You don't need to become a full-time content creator to sell high-ticket offers, but you do need a marketing strategy that makes sense for how your business makes money.

How to Plan Your Q4 for Your Biggest Revenue Season Yet
2026/10/13
We’re officially in Q4, and there is still plenty of year left to work with.
Q4 has consistently been my biggest cash-flow season, but I don’t assume a strong final quarter will just happen. I look at what the business actually needs to produce, what I’m selling between now and the end of the year, and what needs to happen to support those sales.
In this episode, I’m breaking down the three things I’m looking at for Q4: money, marketing, and mindset.
We’ll start with the numbers so you can figure out the actual gap between the revenue already committed and what you want the business to produce. Then we’ll use that number to determine the marketing effort and runway you actually need. And finally, we’ll look at the mindset you’re bringing into these final months, especially the fear, doubt, or worst-case thinking that can influence your decisions even when the data says something different.
Why You Should Listen
Learn how to reverse-engineer what Q4 actually needs to produce based on your desired take-home pay, expenses, taxes, and other financial goals.Use cash-flow projections to account for current contracts, payment plans, and upcoming renewals so you can identify your real revenue gap.Figure out the marketing runway you need between now and your next enrollment period, whether you’re introducing something new, relaunching an existing offer, or opening a few client spots.Plan the messaging your buyers need to hear before you ask for the sale, instead of only planning how much content you’re going to create.Learn how I use data and mindset together, including the exercise I use to get the worst-case scenario out of my head and make room for what could actually go right. If you haven’t fully mapped out Q4 yet, you’re not too late.
Give yourself an hour or two after listening to look at three things: What does Q4 actually need to produce? What needs to happen between now and the sale? And what assumptions are influencing how you’re approaching the rest of the year?
You don’t need to cram twelve months of goals into the final three, but you also don’t need to mentally check out because we’re approaching the holidays.
There is still plenty of year left to work with.

What Gets People to Buy Isn’t Always What Gets Them Results
2026/10/06
What gets someone to buy your coaching program isn't always the same thing that keeps them working with you and earns the renewal. In this episode, I break down the difference between marketing for the initial sale and marketing for client retention, and why clearly communicating the result, promise, and transformation matters at different stages of the buyer journey.
Why You Should Listen
Separate acquisition marketing from retention marketing so you're speaking to the buyer's actual stage of awareness and trust.Learn the difference between your process and your promise so your content communicates the outcome, not just everything included in your delivery.Make your transformation tangible with concrete examples, before-and-afters, scripts, role plays, and other forms of outcome-focused content.Build a smarter offer ecosystem by recognizing the new problem created after a client achieves the initial result instead of cramming every solution into one offer.
Learn how to create marketing and messaging that sells coaching and service-based offers by distinguishing the promise from the process, the initial purchase from the renewal, and acquisition marketing from retention marketing. This episode covers client results, buyer psychology, messaging strategy, content marketing, and succession offers.

Last month I signed a $20k+ client who has been following me since 2018
2026/09/29
Last month, I signed two $20K+ clients who had been following me for years, one since 2018 and another since 2021. Neither was publicly engaging with my content, but when the timing was right, they reached out ready to work together. In this episode, I’m breaking down what those sales taught me about the invisible buying journey, audience trust, marketing consistency, and why quiet engagement doesn’t necessarily mean your marketing isn’t working.
Why You Should Listen
Understand the invisible buying journey: Learn why a buyer’s decision often starts long before they DM you, book a call, or make an offer.Stop overvaluing visible engagement: Get a better framework for interpreting likes, comments, DMs, and other immediate marketing signals.Improve high-ticket marketing: Understand why trust, relational connection, and a strong body of work matter when you sell a higher-ticket service or coaching offer.Make your messaging more precise: Learn how to help an existing audience recognize that your solution is relevant to the problem and circumstances they are experiencing right now.
I break down how content marketing, audience trust, messaging, and the long-term buyer journey contributed to two recent $20K+ client sales. We’ll talk about lurkers, silent decision makers, high-ticket sales, marketing consistency, buyer timing, and how to make your messaging more precise so the right clients can recognize when your offer is for them.

High-Ticket Buyer Psychology Has Changed. Has Your Messaging?
2026/09/22
If your high-ticket offer used to sell but your content suddenly isn't converting like it did before, your messaging may not be wrong.. it may simply no longer be relevant to your buyers. In this episode, I break down how buyer psychology, identity, lived experience, and changing market conditions should shape your messaging strategy. You’ll learn how to recalibrate your messaging around your buyer’s current reality and perspective without rebuilding your entire business or starting over.
Why You Should Listen

What Your Best Buyers Need to See Before They’re Ready to Hire You
2026/09/15
Your best buyers may be watching your content without ever liking, commenting, or sending you a DM. In this episode, I break down how sophisticated buyers evaluate premium offers behind the scenes and why your content needs to do more than generate engagement. You’ll learn how to build a public body of work that demonstrates your expertise, perspective, experience, and ability to understand the nuance of your buyer’s problem before they ever enter a sales conversation.
Why You Should Listen
Understand how premium buyers actually make buying decisions and why visible engagement doesn't always reflect buying intent. Build a stronger public body of work that gives prospects the information they need to evaluate your expertise, perspective, and approach. Create content that compounds instead of relying on every individual post to generate an immediate sale. Learn what sophisticated buyers are looking for when they research you before investing in a high-ticket offer. Know what metrics actually matter beyond likes, comments, and followers including watch time, saves, private shares, inquiries, applications, and the quality of sales conversations. Audit your existing content to see whether a qualified buyer could spend an hour or several hours researching you and come away with enough information to make an informed decision.
If you sell a premium offer, your content isn't only there to get someone's attention. It's part of how your best buyers do their due diligence. This episode will help you think beyond individual posts and engagement metrics so you can build a public body of work that demonstrates how you think, builds trust, and helps qualified buyers make a confident decision about working with you.

Why Your Messaging Feels "Accurate" But Isn't Converting
2026/09/08
Your messaging can be accurate without actually reflecting why your best clients hire you. In this episode, I’m showing you how to study client conversations, sales calls, renewals, and results to uncover the specific problems, circumstances, and moments of urgency that should inform your messaging.
Why You Should Listen
Identify the difference between accurate messaging and buyer-reflective messaging so your marketing speaks more directly to the people you actually want to attract.Use sales calls, client conversations, DMs, and renewals as messaging research instead of guessing what your audience wants to hear.Find the circumstances and urgency that make your offer relevant right now and understand why your best clients choose to buy.Turn one real client experience into more specific, strategic content that helps qualified buyers recognize themselves in your marketing.
If your messaging feels accurate but isn't consistently attracting your best-fit buyers, this episode will help you find the specificity that's already hiding inside your client experiences and use what your clients have taught you to create more relevant, strategic marketing.

2026/08/25
Selling upmarket isn't necessarily the “next level” every business owner needs to pursue. In this two part series, this episode explores how your chosen position in the market influences your business model, lead generation, customer experience, marketing metrics, and the kind of person you need to become to sustain that positioning.
Why You Should Listen
Learn how to choose your position in the market instead of automatically assuming that selling more upmarket is the “next level” every business owner needs to pursue.Understand the identity shift behind selling premium offers and what you may need to stop doing, monetize, or say no to in order to become credible to more sophisticated buyers.Build a bingeable public body of work that demonstrates the depth of your thinking and reduces perceived risk for prospects considering a premium investment.Rethink how you measure your marketing when your best buyers may be silent lurkers who consume your content privately before making a significant buying decision.
If you want to sell more upmarket, this episode will help you rethink where you want to play in the market, who you need to become to credibly occupy that position, and how your messaging and marketing need to evolve to attract more discerning buyers.

Is That New Offer a Distraction? Here's How I Decide
2026/06/30
This is a short clip from a longer livestream. If you want the full conversation, you can catch the replay on Substack - https://substack.com/@jereshiahawk
If you've ever had a shiny new offer idea and couldn't tell whether it was an aligned opportunity or a distraction, this episode is for you. This is a Q&A clip from a recent livestream, where I answer a question from a community member about whether creating offers for a new audience is worth pursuing or if it's a distraction. I break down how I think about offer ecosystems that create lifetime client value versus offers that just operate in silos going nowhere. I also get into why timing matters as much as the idea itself, and how I make the call as a CEO rather than just as someone full of great ideas.
Why you should listen:
How I evaluate whether a new offer idea is an aligned opportunity or a distraction from the core revenue driver in my businessThe "nucleus framework" I use for building an offer ecosystem where every product supports client retention and long-term lifetime valueWhy having a great idea doesn't mean it's the right time to build it — and how I think about business stage and timing as a CEOHow I identify the trade-offs of any major business decision so I can say yes or no with clarity instead of guiltThe difference between offers that function in silos versus offers that create healthy overlap and a natural client journeyHow I give myself permission to hold a good idea until the timing is actually right — without feeling like I'm missing outIn the full livestream, I also dig into what I'm seeing across this round of 1:1 applications, including why visibility is the real bottleneck keeping six-figure experts from breaking through to their next level - https://substack.com/@jereshiahawk
