How Adam Closed His First Multifamily Deal - Timeless Lessons (Part 1)
2025/07/15
In this episode of the Stars & Stripes Immobilien (Real Estate) Show, we take it back to the basics. You're about to hear a recorded conversation between Craig Haskell, founder of Valuehoundacademy.com, and Adam Ross, a multifamily investor who shares the raw and practical story of how he closed his very first multifamily deal.  They discuss the mindset, the strategy, and the tuning points that helped Adam go from aspiring investor to dealmaker.  Why this episode matters today:  Even though the recording is a bit older, the lessons are timeless - because real estate cycles repeat, but the fundamentals stay the same.  We also briefly touch on recent tax law changes in the U.S. including the return of 100% bonus depreciation and how cost segregation play a key role - tools that are now more valueable than ever for real estate investors.  What you'll learn in this episode: How he raised of $3.5 Million…and was surprised how easy it was The MOST Important Thing He Did That Got His First Deal Done How He Secured Non-Recourse Debt for his first deal How He Got His Investors to Agree to Higher Syndication Fees Without Resistance The Turning Point for Adam to Finally Getting Started How Adam Has Changed his Business and Life Forever Have fun!

Investing in multifamily real estate can provide considerable tax benefits through cost segregation and bonus depreciation. As well as be a hedge against inflation which, following significant stimulus from governments around the world, is more critical now than ever before. In addition to this, I manage my husband and my personal portfolio of rental properties in Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN; and Jacksonville, FL areas. Our investors are a highly valued part of our team and offering them a trusted and memorable service is of utmost importance to me. I currently live in Dubai, UAE, and completed my bachelor's in Business Management with a University in the UK with First Class Honors. The beauty of an interconnected, globalized world enables me to maintain relationships with my partners and manage business remotely while developing new connections in the region.
