I’m Ronnie McGhie, I’m a radio presenter and podcaster. “Tracks 70’s” was born out of another show, simply called “Tracks”. I wanted to put together a show featuring the music I listened to when I was at school in Glasgow during the early 1970’s.. The 70’s was an amazing decade for music of all genres. For me, the show evokes memories of Friday night record sessions, where we all went to a different friend’s house every Friday and we would all take the album we had just bought to let everyone have a listen. If we were lucky, a parent would hand in a few cans of beer, sometimes home brew. All the music is from my own collection. On this week's show Nazareth: Broken Down Angel David Bowie: Life On Mars Alice Cooper: Under My Wheels Steely Dan: Do It Again Todd Rundgren: Hello, It’s Me Sutherland Brothers: The Pie Alice Cooper: Be My Lover 10cc: I’m Not In Love Hot Chocolate: You’ll Always Be A Friend Jethro Tull: The Witch’s Promise Queen: Brighton Rock Alice Cooper: Halo Of Flies
