President's Chapel 2026-2027: Dr. Tanmay Pramanick - Living Out Our Faith in a Postmodern Society
2026/10/06
In the Postmodern world in which we live, how does a follower of Jesus remain unmistakably faithful? Ephesians 5 gives believers five habits for living with conviction in a culture of relativism: walk wisely, watch your time, work out God’s will, welcome the filling of the Holy Spirit, and worship well. Christians are called not merely to survive the culture but to live differently within it—making every moment count, grounding their lives in God’s Word, surrendering to the Holy Spirit, and worshiping with their whole lives.

President's Chapel 2026-2027: Harry Vellekoop - True Confidence in God
2026/09/29
What happens when you’ve done everything you can—and the people or ministry you poured your life into are no longer in your hands? Philippians 1 reminds us that God finishes what He starts. Ministry requires investing deeply in people while remembering that ultimately, they belong to Him. Challenges, conflict, and unexpected setbacks do not mean God has stopped working. Our responsibility is to remain faithful and trust Him with the results. We may plant, serve, and eventually step away—but God’s work continues long after ours is finished.

President's Chapel 2026-2027: Claude Valdes - The Best Things in Life are Difficult
2026/09/22
Following Jesus may be simple, but that doesn’t mean it will be easy. The speaker illustrates this through his journey of becoming a “46er,” hiking all 46 high peaks in New York. On one winter hike, what seemed simple—follow the marked trail up the mountain—became an exhausting journey through deep snow and extreme cold. Yet the difficulty ultimately strengthened and bonded the hikers together. In the same way, the hard seasons of life and ministry can shape us, deepen our relationships, and draw us closer to God. Hard doesn’t always mean wrong, and easy doesn’t always mean right. God may not always remove the difficulty, but He promises His presence through it.

President's Chapel 2026-2027: Jack Hempfling - Let's Just Go!
2026/09/15
What if God’s greatest plans for your life begin with one simple decision: “I’ll go”? This powerful message reminds us that we do not always see the whole journey before taking the first step. Sometimes God guides us as we go. From a simple decision to serve for one week to carrying the gospel across nations, small acts of obedience can lead somewhere we never imagined. The need is great, the harvest is ready, and Jesus is worthy. The question is not whether we have everything figured out—it is whether we are willing to say, “Here I am, Lord. I’ll go.”

President's Chapel 2026-2027: Dr. Danuta Case - Don't Forget
2026/09/08
Why is it often easier to remember what hurt us than what God has done for us? Negative experiences can stay fresh in our minds because we replay them again and again, while moments of God’s goodness can easily fade into the background. Scripture repeatedly calls us to remember and give thanks. When we intentionally recall God’s faithfulness, our circumstances may not immediately change—but our perspective can. Remembering His goodness strengthens our hope, builds our faith, and helps us persevere through difficult seasons. Don’t let struggles make you forget God’s faithfulness. Recall what He has done, give thanks, and keep pressing on.

President's Chapel 2025-2026: Rev. Simon Tanner - When Faith Takes Flight
2026/03/17
Simon Tanner shares the story of Helimission, a Christian helicopter ministry founded by his father, which uses aviation to reach remote, unreached people with the gospel. What began as a risky, faith-driven effort, buying and flying a helicopter to Africa despite impossible odds, has grown into a global ministry supporting missionaries, medical evacuations, and disaster relief. Through examples like the Dao tribe, he shows how access to isolated regions can transform entire communities, both physically and spiritually. He also highlights the sacrifices his family made and the ongoing global impact of the ministry. The main message challenges listeners to live for eternal impact by using their time, talents, and resources to serve God. He emphasizes that God often uses ordinary people, values hidden service just as much as visible roles, and calls every Christian to be involved, whether by going, giving, supporting, or praying, without comparing themselves to others.

President's Chapel 2025-2026 - Rev. Phil McNeil - Heaven's Gifts in the Structure of the Church
2026/03/10
The speaker teaches about prophetic ministry in the church, emphasizing that spiritual gifts should operate under church leadership and be recognized by their fruit. He explains that gifts like prophecy and tongues are biblical and valuable, but they must function with love, humility, and order, not pride or attention-seeking. In the New Testament, prophecy should primarily strengthen, encourage, and comfort believers, helping build up the church. Overall, he urges students to pursue their calling with teachability, good character, and a willingness to grow while stepping out in faith.

President's Chapel 2025-2026 - Rev. Kenneth Wagner - From Faith to Mission: Stepping Into God’s More
2026/02/10
Pastor Kenneth Wagner’s main message is simple: more faith leads to more mission. He explains that when faith is truly alive, it doesn’t leave us sitting still, it moves us toward obedience and action. Using Hebrews 11–12, he describes a clear progression: faith builds trust, trust leads to obedience, and obedience results in mission. The stories of Noah, Abraham, and Moses remind us that God works through ordinary, imperfect people whose faith is willing to respond. From Hebrews 12, he highlights four practical challenges. First, be confident in God’s faithfulness. Second, be wise by removing the “weights” that slow you down. Third, be pure by laying aside sin, especially hidden sin that creates shame and distance from God. And fourth, stay focused by fixing your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Ultimately, he calls students to reject passive, stagnant faith and step into the “more” God has for them, letting their faith move them into everyday mission for others.
