Hey Sox fans! Welcome back to Good Guys Talk Back. The Sox finished 162 in a strong way. They made it to 60 wins but lost 100 games for the third year in a row. Despite the overall finish, the Sox provided us with a lot to look forward to in 2026. Bolstering the bullpen will be a focus and hopefully money will be spent on some additional offense. Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox took a series against the Twins after falling in Atlanta. The Sox honored Ken Griffey Jr.'s short lived South Sox career with a bobblehead and the young kids continue to play well. Colson Montgomery continues to not only hit home runs but he is hitting absolutely bombs. He hit his first grand slam this past Saturday and followed up on Sunday with a long gone blast. They are playing with house money and it has been fun to watch. Sox should have swept the Angels but instead won their 3rd series since the All Star break.
