This morning, Bro. Jacob Finley brought our message, sharing with us from Romans 13:11-14.  He encouraged us to wake up, dress up, straighten up, and look up.

This week, Pastor Randy continued in Zechariah, looking at chapter 9. We were reminded that we should be preparing for the coming King and celebrating the coming King.

This morning, Pastor Randy took us through chapters 7 and 8 of Zechariah where we were reminded that our Lord invites His people to genuine and joyful righteousness.

This morning, Pastor Randy stepped away from Zechariah to share a message influenced by current events.  He shared with us from 1 John 1:8 - 2:2 on how we should live in God's light no matter what is happening around us.

This week, Pastor Randy concluded chapter 6 of Zechariah and reminded us again to not grow weary in our labor for the Lord.  What does Zechariah have to say about that?

This week, as we looked at Zechariah 6, we were encouraged to not grow weary in our labor for the Lord because God is in control.

This morning, Pastor Randy continued looking at Zechariah, in chapter 5, where we were reminded that we must depend on God's Word for daily cleansing.

This morning Pastor Randy continued our look at the Minor Prophets, continuing in Zechariah 4:1-14 where we were reminded we must pursue God's Kingdom - both in our hearts and in the world.

This morning we had our Association Mission Strategist from our local Independence Baptist Association, Bro. Ronnie Toon, bring the message for us as Pastor Randy was under the weather.  He shared with us from Joshua 6, encouraging us in how we can live victoriously through discipline, consistency, and persistence.

As we begin looking at the book of Zechariah this week, we are reminded that God is calling all people everywhere to return to Him, because He has worked out all of our salvation.

This week we look at the book of Haggai where he call readers to come back to God's presence as our priority, so that we might experience His joy and blessing.

This morning, Pastor Randy shared with us from Colossians 2:16-23 reminding us that we must guard our hearts against the false promises of worldly wisdom. Something may sound good - even biblical - but may be worldly wisdom instead of true biblical wisdom.

As we approach our nation's 250th birthday, this week Pastor Randy reminded us that we are citizens of 2 kingdoms.  He reminded us that while it is okay to celebration our nation, our freedoms, and the 250th birthday, ultimately our home is in heaven with Christ.  We were reminded to live and work faithfully, adapt to our culture discerningly, and to hope in God's promises exclusively.

Back in the Minor Prophets this week, today we looked at Zephaniah and heard that, in light of God's coming judgment against sin, Zephaniah calls us to find our full satisfaction in God's salvation.

This week, Bro. Jacob Finley brought our message from the book of Philemon, answering the question "what is effective fellowship?".  Philemon is a short book but packed with a great message!
