325: Managing Stress for Ambitious Women with Andrea Robertson
2026/03/22
Host Tina Tower welcomes Dr. Andrea Robertson - osteopath, naturopath, nutritionist, speaker, and "inflammation queen", to discuss women's health (especially perimenopause/menopause), avoiding burnout, and building a long-term online business.
Andrea shares her path from professional dance (including Moulin Rouge) and a large Adelaide clinic to online programs after burnout, staff upheaval, and realizing she needed to be bigger than her hourly rate.
She explains common midlife symptoms (fatigue, brain fog, belly weight gain, anxiety), focuses on reducing inflammation and toxic load (often removing alcohol, gluten, cow's dairy, processed sugars), and emphasizes small nervous-system habits like box breathing and outdoor light. Andrea outlines her 12-week program, 3-week Inflammation Detox Diet, and newer paid-ads/VSL funnel approach as the online landscape has changed.

2026/03/19
In this episode, I share why I'm in Palm Springs for launch and how running a destination launch energizes me compared to launching from home. I discuss the importance of effort, mindset, and strategy for success, noting that only 12% of female business owners earn over $100,000 a year, often due to a lack of strategy and mindset.

Tina Tower welcomes business coach and mastermind expert, Ellie Swift to discuss masterminds, shifts in the coaching industry, and creating a freedom-filled business while prioritising motherhood.
Ellie shares that since having her daughter, she has become more intentional, planning-driven, and boundaried, embracing the ongoing "dance" rather than seeking balance. She explains how she redesigned her business in preconception and during IVF by consolidating multiple mastermind tiers and how she became more discerning about what deserves her energy, letting go of problems she can't control.
Ellie describes building her business model specifically for motherhood, moving from one-to-one work into scalable one-to-many offers, and defines success as living her values over time: family, abundance and choice, meaningful mission-driven impact, and practical flexibility like school drop-off and pick-up. The conversation explores how the online coaching/education market has shifted from a 2010–2020 "gold rush" (low barrier to entry, people buying broadly) to a more discerning post-COVID environment that demands stronger delivery, clearer IP, and better business fundamentals; Ellie predicts more "weeding out" and increasing emphasis on embodied, original expertise by 2026, especially for masterminds.
Ellie outlines her mastermind framework (the "five Cs": call structure, coaching between calls, community, curriculum, and container criteria) and notes rising expectations for access, outcomes, and congruence between sales and delivery. On the seven-figure path, she highlights three drivers: mindset/identity, clear strategy and business model math, and consistent personal-brand marketing, plus resilience through evolving requirements.
Ellie explains who shouldn't run masterminds (people unwilling to be in relationships, facilitate transformation, or handle feedback), the biggest launch mistake (designing for short-term goals without scalability), and how she manages the energetic load of holding space using strong container boundaries and simple rituals like exhaling after calls and "giving back" energy that isn't hers. In rapid-fire closing, Ellie shares a belief she's outgrown (operating as a solopreneur), a metric she no longer worships (views), and one thing she won't sacrifice again (herself).

About Melissa Browne:
Mel is an award-winning, ex-accountant, ex-financial advisor and now financial educator who is licensed to give general advice. She founded her own successful accounting and financial planning firm before selling to an ASX listed company just before Covid. Over the past 13 years, Mel has also written 5 books about business
and money including the global bestseller, Unf*ck Your Finances, and her latest book (released Feb 2026), Dare to be Wealthy.
So, she has the theory. But Mel also has the life experience. She grew up in the Western Suburbs of Sydney in a violent, often inconsistent household and came back from less than nothing in her early thirties, after giving all of her money to charity (a move she instantly regretted). Despite these starts, set-backs and mistakes – she is now a multi-millionaire gaining financial independence from the strategies she put in place for herself. Mel genuinely believes, as a result of her own story and working with tens of thousands of women and families, that understanding how to build wealth shouldn't be abdicated or just for the select few who can afford it – but is something that everyone can achieve.
Mel is regularly asked to comment on money and finances making regular TV and radio appearances including Triple J's The Hack, the Today Show, Weekend Sunrise, Weekend Today, Sky Business and The Daily Edition. She has also been featured in or written articles for a variety of places including CEO Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Who, Vogue, Yahoo Finance and had a fortnightly column in the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne's Age for 7 years.

314: Closing the Year with Intention: Let It Be Enough
2025/12/16
In the last episode of the year, Tina Tower invites you to close out 2025 with intention, reflection, and rest. This isn't about squeezing out more results—it's about acknowledging your progress, letting yourself feel proud, and entering the holiday season with peace and presence. Whether you're celebrating big wins, learning from missteps, or simply embracing rest, this episode is your gentle reminder: you have done enough.
Key Topics Covered Gratitude and Celebration: Tina Tower thanks all listeners for their support throughout the year and encourages everyone to reach out via Instagram for some holiday cheer.
Closing the Year with Intention: Instead of succumbing to end-of-year pressure, consciously reflect on both your achievements and areas for growth.
Reflection vs. Review: Go beyond numbers—journal or record reflections on personal growth, habits, what you let go of, and what you're proud of.
Pause Before Planning: Don't rush into planning for 2026. Take time to rest and integrate lessons learned before setting new goals.
Rest is Productive: Stepping back and allowing yourself a real break is vital. Your best plans come from a place of restoration, not exhaustion.
You Are Not Behind: Success doesn't happen on a fixed timeline. Trust your journey, accept the ups and downs, and acknowledge that you are exactly where you need to be.
Celebrate Yourself: Take time to recognize all you've accomplished—especially as a solopreneur. Create your own year-end rituals and gratitude letters.
Close with Ritual: Finish the year with a physical or symbolic ritual—clear your space, write thank you notes, and unplug.
Set Your Intention for the New Year: Choose how you want to enter 2026—rested, full-hearted, and ready.
As you wrap up this episode—and this year—I hope you give yourself the gift of slowing down, breathing deeply, and honouring just how far you've come. Let this be your permission slip to close 2025 with softness, gratitude, and trust in your own unfolding. You don't need to earn your rest; you've already done more than enough. So step into the holiday season with presence, celebrate the human behind all the hard work, and allow yourself to enter 2026 restored, grounded, and ready for what's next.

313: My Top Business Lessons from 2025
2025/12/09
In this reflective and inspiring solo episode, Tina Tower shares her most impactful business and personal lessons from 2025. As the year draws to a close, Tina pulls back the curtain to reveal the decisions, pivots, and strategies that led to her most expansive, profitable, and joy-filled year to date.
Key Topics Covered Design Your Business Around What Matters: Tina Tower emphasizes aligning your business to your values and lifestyle goals, highlighting how she achieved the best balance ever this year.
Information Courses Are Dead: There's a major industry shift; pure information is now easily accessible via AI. What sells is transformation, accountability, and live, high-touch elements tailored for true results.
AI Is a Game Changer: Tina Tower leaned heavily into AI, streamlining operations and freeing up more time for client connection and creativity. She discusses specific tools (Delphi, Freepik, custom GPTs) and how they enhanced delivery and impact.
Brand Consolidation for Simplicity: After experimenting with multiple spin-off brands, she consolidated everything back under Her Empire Builder for clarity and ease—making the customer experience and promotions much simpler.
Small But Mighty Team: Tina Tower optimized her team to just a few core members, focusing on high trust, strong culture, and prioritizing profitability and lifestyle over scale.
Evergreen Funnels & Consistent Revenue: Significant investment and effort in building robust evergreen funnels and leveraging affiliate sales have enabled consistent revenue throughout the year, reducing launch dependence.
Prioritizing Health & Energy: Personal wellbeing had a transformative ripple effect on her business performance, boundaries, and overall happiness.
Strong Boundaries Create Greater Joy: Being intentional and sometimes "selfish" with time and commitments allowed Tina Tower to focus energy where it mattered most.
Travel & Creativity: A year rich with travel (both for work and leisure) fuelled creativity and underscored the importance of enjoying success along the journey—not just at "retirement."
Intimate Masterminds Are Most Impactful: Smaller groups and deeper connections have delivered more value both for members and for Tina's fulfillment as a coach.
As you reflect on these lessons, let them be an invitation to design a business and a life that feels both profitable and deeply fulfilling. 2025 proved that success isn't about doing more, but about doing what matters with clarity, intention, and joy. As you move into a new year, may Tina's insights remind you that you can simplify, elevate, and still create extraordinary impact. The future is bright, and the best chapters are yet to be written.

The importance of morning routines, listening to inspiring content, reducing social media usage, and staying connected to your purpose
Celebrating Small Wins
The value of keeping a "proof file" of positive feedback to revisit during low-confidence moments
Knowing When to Rest
Recognizing the difference between true self-doubt and just needing to recharge
As you step back into your day, remember that self-doubt is simply part of building something meaningful—not a stop sign. Keep taking those small, brave steps, lean on your people when you need to, and celebrate every win along the way. You're doing better than you think, and your confidence will keep growing each time you show up.
