The Original Trick | Trick Or Treat
2026/10/06
Can something that looks good lead you somewhere you never wanted to go? In “The Original Trick,” the first message in our Trick or Treat series, we look at the Garden of Eden and the way temptation can make God’s good boundaries feel restrictive.
In this message, you’ll explore:
Why questioning God’s goodness opens the door to deceptionHow harmful choices can be disguised as a rewardThree questions that help you pause before a choice: What did God say? Where could this lead? Will this draw me closer to God?Why temptation is a decision point, not a defeatThe good news is that failure is not the end of the story. Jesus offers forgiveness, restoration, and a way back when we have fallen for a trick.

Revelation Part Three | Bible Study September 30, 2026
2026/10/02
Pastor Kevin continues our study through Revelation by examining the rapture, the Second Coming, and the major pre-, mid-, and post-tribulation views. Rather than forcing Scripture into a preferred theory, this study challenges us to read the Bible carefully, remain humble about what we don’t fully understand, and stay ready for the return of Jesus. Pasted markdown
Three main takeaways:
The rapture and the Second Coming are distinct events in Pastor Kevin’s framework. He describes the rapture as Jesus coming for believers and the Second Coming as Jesus returning with believers. Pasted markdown
Pre-, mid-, and post-tribulation views all attempt to make sense of biblical passages, but each has strengths and difficulties. Pastor Kevin encourages listeners to examine the Scriptures rather than simply defending the position they already hold. Pasted markdown
The most important thing is to be ready for Jesus’ return. Whatever the exact timing of the rapture, Pastor Kevin emphasizes the certainty that Jesus is coming and that believers should prepare themselves for Him.
Welcome Home | The Road To Recovery
2026/09/28
What happens after someone finds their way back home? In the final message of The Road to Recovery, we look at the part of the Prodigal Son story that often gets overlooked: how the family responds when the lost son returns.
Jesus shows us two very different responses. The father runs toward his son with love and compassion, while the older brother struggles to celebrate because of resentment and comparison.
In “Welcome Home,” we learn:
Act like the dad — welcome people with love instead of judgment.Don’t be the brother — we can stay close to God while allowing our hearts to become hard.Celebrate together — when someone comes home, finds freedom, or takes a step toward Jesus, we have a reason to celebrate.
Recovery doesn’t end when someone comes home. They need a family willing to walk with them as they rebuild their life.

Revelation Part Two | Bible Study September 23, 2026
2026/09/24
In this week’s Bible study, Pastor Kevin continues our journey through the book of Revelation by exploring Revelation chapters 2–3 and Jesus’ letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor. These were real churches facing real challenges, but Pastor Kevin explains how their messages still speak to believers today—calling us to examine our devotion, doctrine, faithfulness, purity, and spiritual readiness.
Three Main Takeaways
Jesus' letters to the seven churches still speak to us. Each church faced different struggles—from losing its first love and compromising doctrine to suffering persecution and becoming spiritually lukewarm. The repeated invitation is for anyone with ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. Pasted markdown
We overcome through faith, not religious performance. Pastor Kevin highlights that Christianity can easily become works-based if we're not careful. We don't work so that Jesus will love us; we trust and love Jesus, then allow Him to lead how we live. Pasted markdown
The Church must remain faithful and spiritually ready. Whether today's Church is best understood through Philadelphia's open door or Laodicea's warning against lukewarmness, the practical response is the same: stay faithful to Christ, hold fast to His Word, and be ready for what God does next.

Revelation Part One | Bible Study September 16, 2026
2026/09/17
In this opening study of the book of Revelation, Pastor Kevin lays the foundation for understanding one of the most fascinating and often misunderstood books of the Bible.
Beginning in Revelation chapter 1, Pastor Kevin emphasizes that Revelation is first and foremost the revelation of Jesus Christ. Rather than treating its imagery, symbols, numbers, and prophetic events as something strange or disconnected from the rest of Scripture, he shows how much of Revelation has already been introduced throughout the Old and New Testaments.
Three Main Takeaways:
1. The best way to interpret the Bible is with the Bible. Many of the symbols and images found in Revelation have already appeared somewhere else in Scripture. The more we understand the whole Bible, the clearer Revelation becomes.
2. Revelation is ultimately about Jesus. The imagery throughout the book reveals the character, authority, glory, wisdom, power, and majesty of Christ. Revelation is not simply a book about future events—it is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
3. Jesus is coming again in glory. One of the dominant messages of Revelation is that Christ will return, receive His people unto Himself, defeat His enemies, and ultimately establish His rule and reign. For believers, Revelation is a message filled with expectation and hope.

Genesis Part Thirteen | Bible Study September 9, 2026
2026/09/10
Pastor Kevin walks through the powerful story of Joseph in Genesis 41–45, from prison to Pharaoh’s palace and ultimately to reconciliation with his brothers. This study reminds us that God is at work even in seasons of delay, hardship, and uncertainty—and that His plan can bring purpose, provision, and healing where we least expect it.
Main takeaways:
God is working behind the scenes, even when we cannot see how our circumstances will change.Trust God’s timing; He prepares people and opportunities for the right moment.Forgiveness releases us from bitterness and lets God turn painful experiences into purpose.
High On Life | The Road To Recovery
2026/09/08
How do we end up somewhere we never intended to be? In Week 1 of The Road to Recovery, “High on Life,” we look at the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15 and the choices that slowly led him from his father’s house to the pigpen.
This message challenges us to recognize the road we’re on before we reach the consequences at the end of it.
Pay attention to desires that are pulling you away from God.Don’t trade something valuable in your future for something that feels good right now.You don’t have to keep going just because you’ve already made a bad decision.Learning to survive in dysfunction isn’t the same as finding freedom.
Your last bad decision does not have to become your next one. You can turn around today.

Genesis Part Twelve | Bible Study September 2, 2026
2026/09/03
In this Wednesday night Bible study, Pastor Kevin continues through the book of Genesis by diving into the incredible story of Joseph. From being favored by his father and receiving dreams from God, to being betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and thrown into prison, Joseph’s circumstances repeatedly seemed to move him farther away from the promise God had given him.
But behind every setback, God was still working.
Pastor Kevin shows how God’s hand can be present even in seasons that feel confusing, painful, or completely opposite of what He promised. Whether Joseph was in Potiphar’s house or sitting in prison, the favor of God remained on his life. His integrity through temptation, his willingness to serve others while facing his own struggles, and his trust in God’s timing continued preparing him for what was ahead.
This study is a powerful reminder that when God gives a promise, opposition cannot cancel His purpose. What looks like a detour may actually be part of the road God is using to position you exactly where you need to be.
Three main takeaways:
God’s purpose can survive every setback.Joseph’s brothers tried to destroy the dream God had given him, but their actions ultimately became part of the journey that moved Joseph toward his destiny. When God has spoken, circumstances do not get the final word.Favor and character matter wherever God places you.Whether Joseph was a slave in Potiphar’s house or a prisoner in Egypt, people could see that the Lord was with him. Joseph remained faithful, worked with excellence, resisted temptation, and allowed the character of God to be visible through his life.Trust God’s timing when nothing seems to be happening.Joseph spent years waiting for the promise to unfold. Even after interpreting the butler’s dream, he remained in prison for two more years. God had not forgotten him—He was arranging the right people, circumstances, and timing for the next chapter of Joseph’s life.
Connection With The World | Connect Four
2026/08/31
Reaching people doesn’t start with having the perfect words—it starts with making space for them. In the final week of Connect 4, we look at how Jesus connected with the world through something surprisingly simple: hospitality.
Jesus consistently stepped into rooms, homes, conversations, and relationships with people others avoided. His example challenges us to ask whether our faith is just visible at church or whether it changes how we treat people everywhere we go.
