Advertise on podcast: Rock of Nations with Dave Kinchen & Shane McEachern

We are thrilled to welcome legendary founding #Foghat drummer #RogerEarl who’s promoting the band’s latest live album: “Live & Loud Across the U.S.A.”. Roger takes us back to his early days in the band, and times before that as a member of #SavoyBrown. Crank it up!

We love anything and everything #BlueOysterCult so we simply jumped at the chance to chat with brothers Joe and Albert Bouchard, the iconic rhythm section driving so many timeless BOC hits. Joe and Albert take us back through time, telling us rare stories about the very early days of the band, with little known tales and behind-the-scenes moments we’re betting you’ve never heard before!  These interviews are from a few years back during a promo tour for Albert's album “Reimaginos” in 2020 (an updated take on the classic #BOC album) alongside Joe’s “Strange Legends” which came out a bit earlier that year. Sit back, relax and enjoy!

Legends. Rising Stars. One stage. We’ve got it all!!

Dave and Shane are back from a little summer break and jump right in, breaking down the big classic rock stories of the season, while scoping out new record releases and honoring the legends we’ve lost in recent months. It’s good to be home!

We are all about tributes here at Rock of Nations! That’s exactly why we are honoring the 45 to 50-year legacy that is the New Wave of British Heavy Metal with a collection of interviews from our favorite bands of the genre. (NWOBHM) was an iconic late-70s/early-80s movement that revitalized heavy metal by combining the speed and aggression of punk guitar attack with heavy blues riffs, clearing the way for bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica. This special includes chats with: #BiffByford of #Saxon (January 2024), #JudasPriest singer #RobHalford (August 2020), #JudasPriest founding guitarist #KKDowning (January 2022), #IronMaiden’s #BruceDickinson (August 2025), and drummer #NickoMcBrain (February 2026).
