Advertise on podcast: Dynamite Neddy

We've got a clean sweep for the year 2001 this week, with the lads taking a look at "SSX Tricky" (PlayStation 2), "Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land" (PlayStation 2) and "Crazy Taxi 2" (Dreamcast). Also featuring: cursed Geography trips, history lessons and Wesley Snipes appreciation.

Settle in loreheids, for it's time for another esoteric listicle. Andy, Mick and Mick give us their tap 5 worst computer game characters to get stuck talking to at a house party.

McCormick looks at a game made by the NON-perverted French auteur in Tonic Trouble (1999) for the N64, Mick undertakes a modern apprenticeship in Breath of Fire III (1997) for the PlayStation and Andy Mac dives intae some deep-space survival horror in Metroid Fusion (2002) for the Game Boy Advance.

After a post mortem of Scotland's dire world cup performance we dive into four fitba and fitba adjacent videogames - Mick plays his flugel out with European Club Soccer, McCormick reminisces on his Ecuadorian childhood in Despelote, Andy masters the league with e-Football: Kick Off!, and Johnny Branchfield fae the fitba special achieves salvation in Ascending Inferno

Mick looks at a less nostalgic part of the 90s with "Gargoyles" (1995) on the Sega Mega Drive, McCormick gives us a deep dive into cult activities in rural Donegal with "The Secret of St Brides" (1985) for the Commodore 64 and Andy discusses why "Yoshi Touch & Go" (2005) for the Nintendo DS is the perfect game for when you're Yoshi touchin cloth.

This would have made more sense if we put it out a few weeks ago - It's a listicle episode where we discuss gaming's best da's. We've got absent da's, we've got demanding da's, we've got weird Dr. Frankenstein figures. Who's your favourite?

Mick is joined by Mr Johnny Branchfield for one final fitba discussion podcast to go over Scotland crashing out of the world cup. There's a bit of analysis, chat of the journey overall, and hope (or lack thereof) for the future.

Andy twists around to avoid discussing Cutthroat Island, Mick spends one thousand and one nights with Shantae and McCormick kicks you in the stones in Power Stone 2

Mick and Andy are joined by a very special panel of Johnny Branchfield and Craig Dunning to discuss Scotland's match 2 narrow defeat to Morocco and, for some reason, what the ingredients to a Rusty Nail are.

Interrupting your regularly scheduled computer games podcast to have a panel of Mick C and super subs Johnny Branchfield and Mick McMenemie to discuss Scotland's World Cup so far (ahead of an absolutely blockbuster fitba special in the near future).

Your intrepid hosts hop on over to the dark side, this time we go through and rate each level from Sonic Adventure 2's "Dark" campaign. I don't care what they say about you Rouge the Bat, we still love you.

The first of a Dynamite Neddy two-parter which is truly one for the sickos. Mick, Mick and Andy go through and rate each level from Sonic Adventure 2's "Hero" campaign. I don't know what to tell ye mate, there's niche and then there's this.

McCormick gets terminally ill in Aerobiz, Mick discusses bats t**s with Sonic Battle and Andy is the neighbour from hell in Animal Crossing: Wild World

Andy would much rather hang out with Professor Xavier in Ex-Mutants, McCormick blows up a Bubsy 3D-esque liminal space in Bomberman 64 and Mick spends too much money on Vinted in Final Fantasy X-2

With McCormick oot on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan, Mick and Andy Mac are here with another tap 5 list episode - this time tackling oor favourite multiplayer games.
