Talking Tattoos & Getting Silly with with Kristian Livas
2026/09/29
Kristian Livas has been tattooing for around 15 years in Tucson, Arizona. Rooted in traditional tattooing, his work has a classic feel with his own folky touch, pulling inspiration from old tattoo flash while still making it unmistakably his own.
In this episode we talk tattooing, Tucson, influences, and probably a fair amount of shit in between. This episode has a lot of “inside baseball” and is a very silly, goofy episode. Just giggling with friends.
You can find Kristian tattooing at Alley Cat Tattoo in Tucson alongside the rest of the crew. If you’re ever in town, stop by and tell them Wayne sent you.

When Venice Beach Belonged to the Locals | Josh "Bagel" Klassman
2026/06/18
This episode is presented in a more documentary-style format, cutting back and forth between the studio conversation and a walk through Venice Beach. As Bagel shares stories from his life and photographs, the episode follows him through the neighborhood, revisiting historic locations and connecting the past to what Venice looks like today. More than a traditional podcast, this is an episode best experienced by watching as the stories, photographs, and locations come together on screen.
Josh “Bagel” Klassman is a photographer and longtime Venice Beach local who has spent decades documenting the people, places, and subcultures that helped define one of California’s most legendary neighborhoods.
In this episode, Bagel sits down with Wayne to talk about growing up around Venice Beach, photographing the local skate, surf, graffiti, and punk scenes, and witnessing the changes that transformed Venice from a rough-and-tumble beach town into an international destination. The conversation covers the Pavilion, the Pits, the breakwater, the boardwalk, local characters, street photography, punk rock, surfing, skateboarding, and the importance of documenting places before they disappear.
walking from mexico to canada
2026/05/27
In Episode 46 of the Unite & Win Podcast, I sit down with Ryan Cooper Thompson, a tattooer based out of Portland, Oregon at Tattoo SMILE. Ryan is currently hiking the entire Pacific Crest Trail from the Mexico/California border all the way to Canada, and while passing through Wrightwood, California, we linked up off trail, pulled out some camping chairs, and recorded this episode in the middle of the journey.
We talk about the road that led him here, life on the trail, traveling, tattooing, and what it’s like spending over two decades dedicated to the craft. Ryan made his first tattoo in 2001 and has been tattooing professionally since 2004. (R C T)
If you’re into tattooing, traveling, backpacking, or just hearing real conversations from people fully committed to the path they’ve chosen, this one’s worth checking out.

How to get into power violence from green day...
2026/05/20
In Episode 45 of the Unite & Win Podcast we’ve got Jose Lopez.
Jose has played in bands like Shoes of Cement, Hitem Where It Hurts, and ACxDC, and we sat down to talk about growing up in punk, discovering hardcore, and falling down the rabbit hole into all the different subgenres that come with it.
We also got into a pretty funny conversation trying to figure out the “path” from listening to bands like Green Day all the way into powerviolence and what bands kind of bridge the gap along the way. A lot of reminiscing about growing up around punk shows, finding heavy music, and how people eventually end up deeper and deeper into hardcore.
Jose is also part of the Betamax Podcast and involved in a bunch of different creative outlets from music to poetry and beat making.

Jose’s an old friend and it was a great time catching up. I’m grateful we get to share this one with you and hopefully maybe you learn something new or find your own way down the rabbit hole of the music we’re into.
Tattooing in Good Faith | Derek Billingsley
2026/04/20
In Episode 44 we’ve got Derek Billingsley, tattooing out of In Good Faith Tattoo. Originally from California, he’s spent years working in different parts of the country, putting time into the craft and building his own take on American traditional.
We get into how his style has come together over time, pulling from different experiences while still keeping it grounded in the fundamentals. It’s a conversation about staying focused on the work, letting things develop naturally, and not forcing an image outside of what you actually do.
