Season 8 Episode 15: Backrooms
2026/10/11
Three film nerds enter The Backrooms; Along the way, the Chris, Steph and Nico unpack creepy entities, Chris immediately get lost looking up 4chan and accidentally finds porn. The they unpack trauma, practical effects, fake exits, and why nobody should ever go spelunking in a suspicious basement. Expect deep lore, punchable-face rankings, a spirited AI rant, and the vital reminder: drink water, you thirsty bitches.
Season 8 Episode 14: Worst Shark Movie Ever
2026/10/01
Two shark movies enter the lake. Logic does not come out. Chris and Bev compare Jurassic Shark and Shark Exorcist, examining bargain-bin CGI, baffling demon-shark lore, a suspiciously long opening, and a horrific number of “Tiffany!”s yelled into the void. Is a movie worse when it’s so weird you can’t forget it—or so boring you can barely remember watching it? After debating creepy characters, off-screen attacks, and sharks that apparently defy several rules of nature, they reach a verdict: Jurassic Shark is marginally better. Marginally. Bev also chats about her book on gloriously failed films, while the conversation wanders into shark sequels and horror’s endless supply of cursed titles. No lake water was harmed. Probably.

Season 8 Episode 13: Remembering Tim Curry and Dolly Parton
2026/09/23
Chris and Steph attempt a respectful memorial for Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, Peter Cullen, Reggie Bannister, and other beloved icons—and naturally end up discussing Rocky Horror, Dolly’s legendary philanthropy, questionable children’s-movie euphemisms, celebrity deaths, pierced body parts, and a mummy that sucks souls through people’s… well, you’ll hear it. It’s heartfelt, hilarious, occasionally inappropriate, and proof that grief is easier to process when you add camp, cult cinema, and several wildly unnecessary tangents.
Season 8 Episode 12: The Beatles in Movies 2
2026/09/18
Chris and Steph attempt to discuss The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine and A Hard Day’s Night, but naturally end up debating football, British accents, Jesus, Ringo’s facial hair, wrestling, cultural appropriation, and whether “Dick Boob” is a real person.Somewhere in the chaos, they make actual points: Yellow Submarine is a psychedelic animated fever dream packed with pop-culture references, while A Hard Day’s Night is a sharper, scrappier comedy that helped shape the mockumentary. They also investigate the Beatles’ strangest characters, questionable voice-acting choices, Blue Meanies, Jeremy Hillary Boob, and why Ringo may secretly be the funniest Beatle.
Season 8 Episode 11: Remembering Sam Neil
2026/09/09
Is Sam Neill a leading man, a character actor, or simply the human equivalent of “Oh cool, Sam Neill is in this”? Chris sits with Matt and Rachel to discuss his cinematic résumé, from Jurassic Park and Event Horizon to Hunt for the Wilderpeople, while debating whether he could have improved roles played by Gary Oldman. Along the way, they discuss creepy villains, typecasting, Christopher Walken, questionable potato dishes, orange mocha frappuccinos, and movies nobody remembers despite containing half of Hollywood. It’s a chaotic, funny deep dive into why Sam Neill makes almost any movie better—even when he’s only onscreen long enough to look concerned.
Season 8 Episode 10: The Beatles in Movies Part 1
2026/08/31
The Beatles were never meant to be this weird. From fake kidnappings and hand dryers that strip off shirts to a full-on coach trip fever dream, Help! and Magical Mystery Tour turn one of the biggest bands in history into something much stranger, louder, and more unhinged than nostalgia ever prepares you for.
Chris and Steph break down why one film feels like a polished attempt at Beatlemania while the other spirals into pure psychedelic chaos. Along the way, they untangle the real story behind Ringo as the comedic center, John Lennon's relentless trolling, George Harrison's life-changing trip to India, and why I Am the Walrus is basically John Lennon telling the press to stop trying to decode everything.
Season 8 Episode 9: Stalker Jane an interview with Roger Glenn Hill
2026/08/23
Roger Glen Hill joins Chris and Steph to unpack Stalker Jane, the low-budget indie that mixes 80s slasher energy, modern attitude, and just enough chaos to make you keep yelling at the screen. What starts as a twisted date from hell opens into a full conversation about how the film was built, why Halo's debut performance as Jane is so instantly memorable, and how a shoestring budget became a feature instead of a limitation. Roger shares how the story grew from an abandoned Christmas stalker short, why he wrote the role for Nigel Quinn, and how a first scene with almost no outline ended up becoming the foundation for the whole movie.
Season 8 Episode 8: Suspiria
2026/08/18
In this episode, Chris & Step dive into Suspiria — the 1977 horror classic where the colors are louder than the dialogue, the score is pure nightmare fuel, and the practical effects are gloriously unhinged. We talk witches, mirrors, maggots, and why this movie somehow makes a German academy feel like the worst place on Earth. It’s part film analysis, part chaos spiral, and 100% proof that Dario Argento knew exactly how to make a beautiful disaster.
Season 8 Episode 7: Dracula's Daughter
2026/08/05
In this episode, Meg and Chris dissect every strange detail — from Gloria Holden’s statuesque presence to Sandor’s punchable face, and the hilariously incompetent police hierarchy. They break down the film’s bizarre costume choices, the unintentional comedy, and the subtle hints of sexuality buried beneath Victorian-era repression.
Ger Can Get It
Season 8 Episode 6: Fight Club
2026/07/15
Is Fight Club a feminist film? Does pissing side by side make you best buddies? Is Jared Leto really all that pretty? All these questions and less answered by Chris and Steph as they ADHD trip through the chaos that is "Fight Club"
Season 8 Episode 5: Tourist Trap
2026/07/07
Join Chris, Matt, Rachel, and Samantha in an episode that turns a bizarre 70s horror movie into comedy gold, with the hosts tearing into the plot holes, ridiculous death scenes, and mannequin madness while still secretly loving the VHS-era weirdness. It’s a playful mix of roast, nostalgia, and “how did this get made?” energy that makes the chaos the whole point.

Season 8 episode 4: Krull
2026/06/24
In this episode, Chris, Matt and Rachel dive into the gloriously weird chaos of Krull — the fantasy-sci-fi movie that somehow makes zero sense and total sense at the same time. Expect laser swords, teleporting mountains, bad decisions, and plenty of laughs as we unpack one of the most delightfully bonkers movies ever made.
Season 8 Episode 3: Exploring Eraserhead
2026/06/12
In this episode Chris is Joined by new Co-Host Steph as we dive into David Lynch's Eraserhead, where mutant babies and singing radiators are just another Tuesday. It's like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded—confusing but oddly satisfying. Perfect for anyone who loves a good laugh at the bizarre!
Season 8 Episode 2: Beastmaster
2026/05/12
Join Chris Matt and Rachel as they hilariously unravel the madness of "The Beastmaster." Dive into a world where loincloths reign supreme, ferrets are the real MVPs, and tigers get a questionable dye job. With their signature humor, they explore the film's wild plot twists, from psychic animal connections to cauldron twerking witches. Packed with witty banter and personal anecdotes, this episode is a nostalgic romp through retro movie chaos. Perfect for fantasy film fans and anyone who loves a good laugh at cinematic absurdity!
Season 8 Episode 1: Shark Exorcist
2026/05/01
Most movies are so bad they make you want to rip your hair out — but Shark Exorcist takes that to a whole new level of insane. If you've ever wondered just how deep for a film to be "utterly unwatchable" can go, be prepared: this one delivers a chaotic mix of demonically possessed sharks, bikini-clad actresses, questionable CGI, and a plot so nonsensical it defies all logic. And trust us, watching it might just be the worst movie decision you'll ever make—but also the funniest. In this episode, we dive headfirst into one of the most hilariously terrible horror movies ever made. We break down its bizarre storylines, from demonic nun sacrifices and shark sky-shows, to a villainous priest who literally doesn't last long. You'll discover how Shark Exorcist manages to combine shark horror with demonic possession and, somehow, a splash of underwhelming nudity—though none of it lands. We also discuss the constant string of scenes that feel slapped together without any effort for continuity or coherence, making it a perfect “so-bad-it’s-good” disaster. You’ll hear us roast the laughable acting, the CGI that looks like it was made with a bad video game emulator, and dialogue so awkward that even frat-boy humor feels more polished. We reflect on how low-budget filmmaking, with a mere $300,000, results in film choices that are equal parts baffling and hilarious. From the director’s long history of exploitation flicks to the peculiar choices behind the demon shark's sky appearances, we unravel what makes this film a true low point in bad cinema.Perfect for fans of cinematic trainwrecks, horror buffs craving unintentional comedy, or anyone curious how a movie could be so bad it’s almost good—yet painfully so. Whether you’re a seasoned bad-movie connoisseur or just looking for something to mock with friends, this episode is your guide to the abyss of garbage film. Spoiler: we’re contemplating watching the sequel, so you won’t want to miss our predictions—and the laugh-out-loud moments along the way.If you’re tired of “so-bad-it’s-good” movies and want to understand how chaos translates onto the screen, hit play now. Warning: this episode might just be as mind-boggling as Shark Exorcist itself, so buckle up for a wild, hilarious ride into the worst film you’ll never forget.
