The Church of the Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie (Ordained Minister)
There is no only son of God. Jesus taught us to pray, "OUR Father, who are in Heaven..." We are all God's children.
We are here on earth to develop spiritually. We came from Heaven and will return to Heaven, eventually. As the brain is to the body, so the soul is to the spirit. As spirits of light, the Creator has created darkness to help us learn from the darkness and increase our light. In this show, there is much to learn about spirituality. The subjects range from the creation, the Original Creator, Co-Creator Gods of Solar Systems and Galaxies, reincarnation, the nature of our spirits, planets throughout the universe, near-death experiences, extraterrestrial intervention in our past, angels, who Jesus really was and more!

The Church of the Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie
A Vietnam Veteran's Near-Death Journey, Archangels, and a Coming Asteroid Rapture
In a solo broadcast from a rainy San Antonio, The Reverend Blake Rubie retells the near-death experience of Vietnam veteran Lou Famoso, who met a co-creator God and the archangels after a 1964 Mustang crash, then turns to female leadership, asteroids from the Orion constellation, and a coming rapture he calls the Gathering.
A Rainy Saturday in San Antonio
Reverend Blake Rubie opens the broadcast on Saturday, October 24th, telling listeners that unexpected rain has been falling in San Antonio for the past hour after a dry spell. He says he is doing okay and promises to tell a story. He introduces Lou Famoso, a Vietnam veteran who served two tours with the US Navy off the coast of Vietnam and at coastal bases. Rubie explains that after returning home, Famoso used his extra money to buy a brand-new 1964 Mustang, a car he calls the talk of the town at the time. Rubie pauses to share his own love of Mustangs, recalling his yellow and black 1971 Mach 1 and his preference for the larger-bodied models of the 1960s and early 1970s over the smaller cars that came later. He then sets the scene, explaining that Famoso was driving to a welcome-home party on a country road, running late, and pushing the car toward dangerous speed.
The Crash and the Spirit Leaving the Body
Rubie describes how Famoso pushed the front-heavy Mustang to 100 miles an hour on a bumpy country road, causing the front end to dig into the pavement and the car to flip end over end nine times before landing in flames on the roadside. Famoso was thrown from the wreck with a gaping head wound, and two women following behind on their way to the same party rushed to his side, carrying him to their car and then to a local base hospital while trying to stop the bleeding. Rubie says Famoso later reported watching all of this from outside his body, looking down from about ten feet as the women held him. Rubie uses the story to argue that human beings are more than physical bodies, explaining that once the heart stops beating, the spirit leaves the body the way a person sheds an old coat, rising above the scene to observe it.
Through the Tunnel to a Golden Light
Rubie continues that doctors at the hospital could not save Famoso because of the severity of his head wound, so they covered him, believing him dead, and that is when he entered a tunnel he compared to the Holland Tunnel, pulled backward and upward toward a pinprick of light. Emerging into what looked like sunshine, Famoso saw a blank canvas fill in with color and other orbs of light, which Rubie identifies as other souls. He describes his own and other spirits as translucent, milky white, and containing all the colors of the rainbow, comparing the effect to the movie Ghost. A golden orb approached, growing from billiard-ball to basketball to beach-ball size before materializing into a being twice Famoso's height and width. Rubie explains this was a co-creator God, distinct from the Creator of the Universe itself, which he describes as an aurora-borealis-like energy field rather than a humanoid figure.
Archangels, a Choice, and a Tour of the Stars
Rubie relates that the Father God told Famoso, during a life review of his good and bad deeds, that man will prey on man until man learns to pray for man, a line Rubie says appears in a YouTube video called Planet of Sorrows that producer Doug made for him. Famoso then saw three archangels standing beside the Father God: Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer, whom Rubie insists was never cast out of heaven, calling the idea of a rebellious, fallen angel a fantasy invented by men to control others. Asked which archangel he wished to accompany, Famoso chose Michael, who then took him on a tour of solar systems and galaxies. Famoso saw that the small orbs of light he had noticed earlier were souls entering different kinds of bodies on different planets, leading him to conclude that life fills the universe and that Earth lags far behind other worlds in spiritual evolution.
Wars, Visions, and a Case for Female Leadership
Rubie says that after his tour with Michael, Famoso began seeing visions of wars still to come on Earth, soldiers and civilians killing each other by the millions, pain Rubie ties to ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip and Ukraine. He uses this to argue that centuries of male leadership have produced only warfare, and that women, as natural leaders who raise children and carry life, should take over the leadership of the world to move society from what he calls a paternal civilization to a maternal one. He criticizes men in the Middle East for mistreating women after those same women raised and cared for them. Returning to cosmic themes, Rubie reminds listeners that scientists have found over a million types of insects and thirty thousand types of fish, arguing that such abundance makes it illogical to think life exists only on Earth, and cites the Kepler and James Webb Space Telescopes as evidence more worlds keep being discovered.
Asteroids, the Gathering, and a Closing Prayer
Rubie warns that two asteroids are approaching Earth from the direction of the Orion constellation, predicting they will arrive within about a year and that human missiles will be powerless to stop them. He says this will trigger an event called the Gathering, a rapture that will lift roughly eighty percent of humanity, the faithful, kind, and creative, into the sky to meet Jesus and the angels while the remaining tyrants and bullies are left behind as the planet is destroyed and reset on a new axis. He again points listeners toward his four YouTube videos, including Church of the Soul's Evolution, Planet of Sorrows, and Grow Your Light, as a way to prepare spiritually. Rubie asks listeners what they would do differently with only one year left to live, then closes with an extended prayer thanking the Creator of the Universe for life and guidance, before signing off until next week as the song Planet of Sorrows plays.

Goldie's Last Days, the Verdant Contact That Never Came, and a Nation at the Ballot Box
In a solo broadcast from San Antonio, The Reverend Blake Rubie reflects on his dying dog Goldie, the Heavenly Mother and Father, an alien species called the Verdants, and the choices facing voters this election season, closing as always with a prayer.
Opening: Spirits, Dreams, and a Dying Dog
Reverend Blake Rubie opens the broadcast on Saturday, October 17th, from San Antonio, reminding listeners that the soul is the brain of the spirit and quoting The Police's 1981 song to argue that human beings are spirits living in a material world. He describes how spirits travel while the body sleeps, visiting other people and places, even other planets, and says he once dreamed of a jet fighter crashing only to see a nearly identical image in a newspaper the next day while visiting his cousin Jill in England. Rubie calls Earth a classroom in the university of the universe and turns to a sadder subject, his American Pit Bull Terrier, Goldie, now about fourteen years old and so weak she can no longer walk on her own. He recounts carrying her into the backyard that day with two harnesses so she could feel ten minutes of sunshine, and says the family may have to put her down on Monday.
Heavenly Parents, Reincarnation, and the Power of Words
Rubie turns to his belief in the Heavenly Mother and Father, co-creator gods he describes as once living lives just like ours, purifying themselves through many reincarnations on different planets until they reached a stage of evolution allowing them to create with words, a concept he ties to the Bible's opening line that in the beginning was the word. He breaks to drink water mid-segment, then returns to say hell is only a temporary jail at the center of the Earth, not an eternal punishment. He quotes Neil Young's "Old Man" to describe the Heavenly Parents' past similarity to human beings, and warns that because words can create or destroy, listeners should avoid swearing and choose life over death in their speech. He also cites Jimi Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower" to stress that life should be treated as precious rather than a joke, urging listeners to honor and respect it more than many people do.
A House Sale, a Move, and Pets in the Afterlife
Rubie shifts to practical matters, explaining that he still owes $90,000 on his San Antonio house and hopes to clear around $50,000 once it sells, money he would use to relocate somewhere drier, possibly Las Vegas, New Mexico, or Arizona, noting Nevada and Texas have no state income tax while his other two options do. He says moving to Las Vegas would also put him closer to his son in Burbank, about 300 miles away, and complains that San Antonio traffic has worsened sharply over the past decade as more people move in. The sale depends on his stepdaughter and grandchildren finding somewhere else to live, since the family has been covering their expenses. Returning to Goldie, Rubie promises listeners that pets return as spirits with souls after death, a separate evolving species, and claims some planets host canine and feline species that have evolved upright postures with human-like arms and legs while keeping animal heads.
Verdants, Abductions, and a Suppressed Contact
Rubie describes an advanced species called the Verdants, said to have colonized about five trillion planets and to monitor new civilizations until they prove peaceful enough for contact. He claims Earth was once close to a summit with them, who prepared the way through what he calls unsourced visitations rather than abductions, recruiting ambassadors and deputy envoys from ordinary people. He singles out Phillip Krapf, a former Los Angeles Times editor tied to the paper's Pulitzer Prize coverage of the L.A. riots, who wrote "The Contact Has Begun" after spending three days aboard a Verdant spaceship. Rubie argues that mainstream media suppresses such stories because journalists favor negative news and some outlets deliberately hide the truth about extraterrestrial life, fearing it would destabilize human evolution. He says the Verdants had planned a dramatic final proof, transforming 600 acres of desert into a green oasis overnight, but the September 11th attacks changed humanity's standing and the plan was abandoned.
Politics, Israel, and a Difficult Choice
Rubie connects the Verdants' withdrawal to humanity's continuing wars, noting that over six million Jews died in World War II and that he is part Jewish himself, before turning to October 7th and Hamas's attack, which he says killed 1,400 people and justified Israel's response, including the broader war with Iran he believes followed from it. He calls Jewish people "God's chosen people," explaining this through a story that their ancestors came from a more evolved planet whose crashed spaceship stranded them on Earth. He says he generally favors Republicans because of their support for Israel, though he describes himself as a people person who votes for the individual. He also addresses abortion, saying the Creator values the sacredness of human life highly, while acknowledging that the decision is difficult and ultimately rests with the person who must live with its consequences, including on what he calls judgment day.
Army Values, YouTube Videos, and a Closing Prayer
Rubie turns to election advice, urging listeners to vote their conscience and questioning whether a Democratic administration would lower gas or grocery prices, while defending Donald Trump against what he calls unfair media treatment and arguing that renewed impeachment efforts would be unjustified. He then shifts back to spirituality, thanking producer Doug and BBS Radio and TV for four YouTube videos under his name, including "Church of the Soul's Evolution," "The Spirit World," "Planet of Sorrows," and "Grow Your Light," whose AI-generated lyrics he says come from his own teachings. He recalls the Army values of duty, honor, integrity, loyalty, selfless service, and personal courage, alongside the five Army domains of fitness, naming spirituality as the most important of all, especially given how many people die each day. He closes the broadcast with an extended prayer thanking the Creator for the universe's beauty and omniscience, then says goodbye until next week as "Planet of Sorrows" plays out the show.

The Church of the Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie
Mental Fitness, Army Values, and Business Leadership with Silvia Villarreal
Reverend Blake Rubie welcomes business coach Silvia Villarreal for a conversation about mental fitness, the Army values he lived by for decades, and the responsibilities of leadership. The episode also covers his kidney donation to his son and the value of drinking water, a departure from the show's usual heaven and spirituality topics.
Toastmasters Roles and a Warm Welcome
Reverend Blake Rubie opens the program on Saturday, October 3rd, by calling guest Silvia Villarreal on the line after producer Don connects her. The two greet each other warmly and explain that they share a Toastmasters club called Beyond Basics, which meets on the first and third Saturdays of the month. Rubie notes that Villarreal serves as Vice President Education there, and that he holds the same post at another club, a role that means coordinating meetings, filling speaking roles, and publishing agendas. He describes Toastmasters as practice for the moment when someone asks a listener to speak to a hundred people without warning. Villarreal then introduces herself as a business and life coach who has found a program called Positive Intelligence, which trains the mind toward positive thinking. She says she heard Rubie's recent talk on mental fitness and wanted to continue that conversation about how it can help people.
Army Values and Mental Fitness
Rubie explains that his remarks on mental fitness come from his years with the US Army, which he served for 22 years on active duty, then as a contractor for over six years and a civilian for almost sixteen. He describes the service's core values, which include mental, physical, and spiritual fitness, eating the right food, and getting enough sleep. Mental fitness, he says, means staying sharp and focused on the task at hand, and the Army pushed him to finish an associate's degree and then a bachelor's of science, a process that took 23 years after high school. Soldiers also keep reading field manuals about their Military Occupational Specialty, which Rubie says keeps them educated and not only fighting wars. Villarreal responds with respect for military service. She spent over 21 years at USAA, where she learned about the lives of service members and their spouses. She says many friends and relatives in San Antonio, Texas, have military ties, and she has seen how war affects people who readjust after returning from Iraq.
PTSD, Trauma, and a Kidney Donation
Rubie says PTSD is an issue for many people beyond war combat veterans, since many experiences across a lifetime can cause trauma. Villarreal agrees, and then Rubie shares a personal story. He donated one of his kidneys to his son, and he receives disability payments connected to that surgery. He says the donation changed his life, though not dramatically, and that a person can live well with one kidney but must take care to protect longevity. His son was ten months old and had spent about seven months on dialysis, vomiting constantly, when the donation happened. Rubie says his former wife could not donate because of a family history of kidney disease and borderline diabetes, so the task fell to him, and he would do it again. Villarreal calls the donation a gift and says God blesses such selflessness. Rubie reports that his son, now 32, is on a second kidney, a transplant from his best friend's mother in Ohio, after the one his father gave him lasted 19 years.
Water, Health, and Lingering Fatigue
Rubie recalls that his son's book, Finding Faith Through Dialysis, describes a childhood of gummy bears and soda pop. Rubie says children need healthy eating, including vegetables and protein, because poor eating harms the body even in childhood, and he believes his son's diet led to needing another transplant. Rubie urges listeners to drink their daily recommended amount of water, which he says could help prevent kidney disease, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Villarreal agrees that bodies are largely liquid and that purer water is better. Rubie notes that smoothies, juices, and flavored water are good options, but nothing compares with plain water, which he compares to a dying desert traveler who would take a glass of water over an ice-cold beer. He then describes fatigue after the donation, which dulled the raw strength he once showed on the Army Physical Fitness Test. Rubie says his right lower abdomen felt like a board after the surgery, as nerves were cut and took years to grow back.
From USAA to Coaching With FocalPoint
Villarreal returns to her own story. After 21 years at USAA, she says a Capital One job offer required a move to Virginia during COVID, but her father had died and her family came first, so she stayed in San Antonio. After soul-searching, she bought a franchise with FocalPoint to coach, sharing lessons from about 25 years of growing from an individual contributor into a leader. FocalPoint's leadership framework, she says, serves business owners and employees building careers, and she stresses that a leadership title brings responsibility to protect people, at times acting as a human shield. A good workplace, she argues, shapes employees' families, children, and neighbors, so she urges human resources leaders to invest in culture. She also describes six businesses she has run, the first of which closed and still hurts, and her certification as an exit planning advisor, since only about 20 percent of businesses are able to sell. Many owners, she notes, count on their business for retirement, so she helps align companies to sell and keep more profits.
Goals, Communication, and a Farewell
Rubie asks about Villarreal's goals and dreams, mentioning a former club member who became a hospital CEO and moved to Houston. Villarreal says her current aim is to make executives' and teams' lives easier, since communication makes or breaks a project or relationship. A teacher's one inspiring word, she adds, can shape a child's future, while miscommunication can hurt a person for years, so she wants to train minds to communicate carefully, as Table Topics does in Toastmasters. Her stated goal is to keep growing as a certified professional coach so she can help others grow. Rubie calls it a good answer and notes that the program is nearly out of time. He recalls that his show once ran 55 minutes before shrinking to 30, and that time flies when people are talking. Rubie thanks Villarreal, hopes listeners found ideas to apply in their own lives, and says goodbye. He closes by wishing listeners God's blessing, urging them to look up at the stars, and promising to talk again next week.

Lou Famoso's Near-Death Tunnel, Heaven's Golden City, and the Faces of the Mother and Father God
In a solo, thirty-minute broadcast, Reverend Blake Rubie continues his tour of heaven, retelling a Vietnam veteran's fatal 1964 Mustang crash and tunnel-of-light experience before describing heaven's living flowers, golden city, and the faces of the Mother and Father God.
A Shorter Show Continues Last Week's Heaven Talk
Reverend Blake Rubie opens The Church of the Soul's Evolution on Saturday, September 26th, thanking Doug from BBS Radio and TV for finishing a new seven-minute theme song, Grey Brain, Golden Soul, which he says is strong enough to become a mainstream hit. He tells listeners this broadcast is part two, continuing directly from last week's show, where he spoke for thirty minutes about the journey toward that distant world of light, the true source of the soul. He reminds the audience that his programs now run just thirty minutes instead of the longer format he once used, so he must move quickly to finish this second segment on heaven in the time allowed. He explains that the soul serves as the brain of the spirit, and that human beings are not their bodies but their spirits and souls, made of light energy able to live within a fire that would destroy ordinary matter.
Lou Famoso's Fatal Mustang Crash
Rubie retells the story of Lou Famoso, a Vietnam veteran he calls one of the most complete near-death experiences he knows, who was driving his brand-new 1964 Mustang nearly one hundred miles an hour down a poorly paved country road on a Saturday night. Because those early Mustangs carried heavy front ends, the bumps in the road sent the car out of control, flipping it end over end until it crashed and caught fire. Famoso was thrown clear, since cars of that era lacked seatbelts, and suffered a gaping head wound before his spirit left his body and entered the tunnel Rubie has described on earlier broadcasts. Rubie explains that the tunnel is really nothing more than the sun, ninety-three million miles away, whose light takes about eight minutes to reach Earth. Once the physical eyes and ears are gone, he says, the material universe disappears entirely, leaving only spirit and soul, pulled by the sun's gravity down that tunnel of light toward the point of light in the distance.
A World of Brighter Colors and Living Flowers
Rubie describes what Famoso and every arriving spirit finds on the other side: a world resembling Earth but two to three hundred percent brighter, where colors leap out and hillsides are covered in living flowers that watch passersby and bounce back up when stepped on. He explains that the spirit itself is translucent, rainbow-colored, and holds the same organs as the body but arranged in mirror fashion, while keeping familiar facial features even as it gains the power to reshape its appearance at will, most citizens choosing to look about thirty years old. Arriving spirits quickly remember their own pre-existence, recalling being carried down through Earth's atmosphere by an angel before birth and placed gently alongside the mother, entering the womb sometime after conception, usually three or four months into gestation. Rubie says the borderlands of heaven are filled with angels of every rank, archangels, cherubim, and seraphim among them, all serving the Mother and Father God, the co-creator gods of this solar system.
Angels, the Tree of Life, and Heavenly Feasts
Rubie insists that the old story of angels rebelling against God is a fabrication invented by ancient rulers seeking power, since angels, unlike humans, were created without free will and cannot rebel. He describes the trees of life scattered through heaven's borderlands, bearing twelve kinds of fruit that spirits can eat, alongside fields of wheat baked into bread and long feast tables, some two or three hundred meters long, set with gold and silver cutlery, candlesticks, and fountains flowing with water from the river of life. No meat is served, he says, since spirit bodies need no protein, though the leaves of the nations can be smelled to deepen one's spirituality. He tells listeners that Jesus promised to prepare a place for those who love him and the Mother and Father God, describing custom-built mansions already waiting, furnished with whatever a person loves, whether marble floors inlaid with roses or a simple log cabin, all created purely by thought.
The Golden City and Its Guarded Throne Room
Rubie explains that souls shine with a light matching their spiritual growth, comparing it to a sixty-watt bulb at birth that can brighten across a hundred-year lifetime, so that arriving spirits find themselves mingling with soul groups of similar evolution. Those who reach the holy city pass through one of eight pearl gates, named for tribes such as Benjamin and Manasseh, into streets of gold lined with precious stones and silver fountains, traveling by noiseless chariots piloted by angels that carry fifteen or twenty passengers at a time across the hills and valleys of heaven. At the city's center rises a golden dome marking the throne room, which not every spirit is developed enough to enter, since the light there is said to wash over the unprepared like a hurricane-force wind, leaving them prostrate on the ground. Rubie compares reaching the throne room to earning the rank needed to attend a high-level convention, saying spiritual development alone grants admission to witness the Mother and Father God directly.
Face to Face With the Mother and Father God
Inside the throne room, Rubie says, Jesus sits on a throne beside the Mother and Father God as a co-creator god in his own right, surrounded by high-ranking angels including Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, and Uriel, along with ten-foot-tall four-faced cherubim bearing the features of a man, an ox, an eagle, and a lion. He describes King David there as heaven's chief praise leader, playing a golden harp that every arriving soul eventually receives as well. Rubie says beholding the Mother and Father God means looking into eyes full of pools of love, faces marked by both authority and kindness, the Father crowned with snowy white hair and a muscular build, the Mother regal and beautiful like a queen. After the life review and celebration, he says, souls may plan their next incarnation using heaven's libraries and halls of justice before he runs out of time. Rubie closes with a short prayer thanking the Creator for love and existence and asking blessings on all of God's children, signing off until next week.

The Tunnel of Light, God's Jail, and a Guided Tour of Heaven's Flowers and Animals
In a solo, thirty-minute broadcast, Reverend Blake Rubie walks listeners through the moment of death, the spirit's journey down the tunnel of light, hell as God's jail, and a vivid tour of heaven's colors, living flowers, and animals that no longer eat each other.
A Shorter Show and a New Book Reference
Reverend Blake Rubie opens The Church of the Soul's Evolution on Saturday, September 19th, thanking Doug at BBS Radio and TV for a new theme song, "Grey Brain, Golden Soul," a seven-minute piece from which listeners hear only a clip. He tells the audience today's topic is heaven and what to expect there, drawing on his own book, The Grey Brain and the Golden Soul, an eighty-page Kindle title with thirty chapters of spirituality and evolution material. Rubie explains he has trimmed his program from fifty-five minutes down to thirty, saying at seventy-two he wants to conserve his energy for a busy retirement that already includes membership in four Toastmasters clubs and a Toastmasters meeting earlier that morning, plus exercise planned for right after the show. He apologizes to longtime listeners who may miss the longer format before turning to his main subject: what actually happens to a person at the moment of death.
The Spirit Leaves the Body
Rubie explains that every person carries a spirit made of light, translucent and shot through with billions of electrons, comparable, he says, to the glowing figure Patrick Swayze becomes at the end of the movie Ghost. At the body's expiration date, whether from accident, illness, or old age, the spirit pops free and can move by thought or fly. He teaches that souls are born on suns rather than planets, since the sun is the true source of light and the seat of the spirit world, and that other species across the universe are born on their own suns in the same way. Older souls, he suggests, may have lived many lives already, evolving through reincarnation across a universe divided into nine categories of planets from lowest to highest, with Earth ranked as a category one world still struggling near the bottom of that spiritual scale.
Mother and Father God and the Birth of New Spirits
Rubie describes the mother and father God as spirit parents living ninety-three million miles away on the sun, soulmates who evolved through countless lifetimes on other planets before reaching the highest category of existence. He says new spirits are created when the two merge, their united thoughts and spoken words giving birth to a baby spirit that eventually grows old enough to be born onto a planet, sometimes Earth. He compares this spiritual merging loosely to human reproduction while stressing it works differently, guided purely by shared intent rather than physical union. Rubie adds that the spirit shares the physical body's features and even its organs, arranged in something like a mirror image, and that spirits can eat, drink, and feel pain much as people do. He also describes the spirit's nightly excursions during sleep, when it leaves the body to work through daytime worries and returns before waking, provided a person gets seven or eight hours of rest.
God's Jail and the Logic of Forgiveness
Rubie turns to what he calls the other direction some spirits travel: down into the Earth's core, a realm of lava beds and dark caverns he identifies as hell, or God's jail, overseen by Archangel Lucifer. Souls who committed serious sins, he says, do their time there and rehabilitate rather than suffer eternal damnation, using Hitler as his example of someone who might have been shaped by childhood abuse or by a role the mother and father God intended so humanity could eventually learn to move beyond its warring ways. Rubie argues that if earthly mothers and fathers would not condemn a child to endless suffering over a mistake, heavenly parents, being still more loving, surely would not either, calling this reasoning irrefutable. He then describes the freed spirit itself as the real, pure self, lighter and more mobile than the body, with vision spanning three hundred sixty degrees and senses sharper than anything experienced while alive on Earth.
Down the Tunnel Toward the Light
Rubie describes the more common journey after death, down a circular, light-blue tunnel toward a distant pinprick of light, ninety-three million miles away on the sun, an image he ties to the book and film 90 Minutes in Heaven, in which a man struck by a semi truck arrives at the Pearly Gates and is met by deceased relatives. He explains that travelers can likewise be greeted by angels or by loved ones going back generations, and that not everyone completes the trip: some become ghosts still wandering Earth's surface, unaware they have died, especially those killed suddenly and violently. Rubie also revisits the pre-existence, the state before birth, describing how a warrior angel escorts every unborn spirit from the sun down through the atmosphere and into the mother's womb, and suggesting that babies may retain a dim memory of looking out through their mother's eyes during that nine-month, submerged existence before entering the world.
A Guided Tour of Heaven's Light and Living Flowers
Arriving at last in that world of light, Rubie says, spirits behold colors more vivid than any on Earth, some found nowhere else, and living flowers, including roses whose intricate inner parts turn to watch onlookers pass. Advanced souls may arrive by a more direct route, a chariot sent by Archangel Gabriel, and everyone is eventually reunited with deceased relatives, pets, and old friends from other lifetimes on other planets, since he considers all souls one large, interrelated family. He describes fields of green grass walked barefoot, robes of white shining according to one's spiritual development, and trees of the Tree of Life bearing edible fruit. Notably, he says, lions, tigers, and lambs there no longer eat one another, unlike on violent Earth, which he blames in part for humanity's wars. Running short on his newly shortened thirty minutes, Rubie promises to continue next week, offering a closing blessing and love to his listeners before signing off.

The Church of the Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie
Heaven's Light, the Face of God, and Why Earth Is the Hardest School in the Universe
In a solo, thirty-minute broadcast, Reverend Blake Rubie describes what he believes heaven and the mother and father God actually look like, explains the soul as a spark of divine light, and argues that Earth is one of the hardest schools in the universe, closing with a prayer for peace.
A Show Nine Years in the Making
Reverend Blake Rubie opens by welcoming "internet radio land" to The Church of the Soul's Evolution, noting the program has run under different names, including Spirits of the Universe and God Is on the Sun, since he began broadcasting around 2017. He says he keeps returning to the same core subject, spirituality, because he is grateful for the chance to send his words out to help make the world better. He tells listeners that despite the many competing churches that each claim to hold the exclusive truth, heaven itself has no religion. There, he says, the only order of business is to praise the mother and father God, a king and queen who are soulmates to one another, since a father alone cannot create children. He adds that today's broadcast will run only thirty minutes because he has errands to run and an eight o'clock teleconference with friends in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where he and his wife are considering moving.
Standing Before the Mother and Father God
Rubie describes the pre-existence, the state in which every spirit lived before being born on Earth, and says each soul once stood before its co-creator God to receive a mission to help make the world better and work toward peace. He tells listeners that when they eventually reach their own expiration date, they will stand before the mother and father God and behold a light so brilliant it will wash over them like a hurricane-force wind. He explains that every soul carries its own spark of that same divine light, comparing the soul to a lantern holding a small flame lit from the Creator's fire. Every spirit, he says, is born on a sun, not necessarily this one, and could originate anywhere among the countless solar systems of the Milky Way or other galaxies, meaning some listeners may be old souls, mystic travelers who move from planet to planet across many lifetimes.
Category Planets, Prayer, and the Wars of Today
Rubie lays out his ranking of inhabited worlds on a scale from one to nine, placing Earth at category one and describing more advanced planets, such as a hypothetical category six, whose souls sometimes volunteer to reincarnate here on a mission from the mother and father God to help humanity through hard times. He points to the ongoing wars in Iran and Ukraine, and to more than eighty thousand deaths in the Gaza Strip, as evidence of a struggling planet. Repeating a phrase he says he has used on earlier shows, he tells listeners that man will prey on man until man learns to pray for man, spelling out both words, and adds the same is true of women. He argues that individual prayers genuinely make a difference and that the meanness, unkindness, and heartlessness seen in the news reflect people who have not yet learned that lesson.
Life Reviews and the Face of Father God
Rubie describes the life review he believes every soul undergoes before the mother and father God, in which a person relives every moment from birth to death, including old childhood pains, from an outside perspective. He says nobody knows their expiration date in advance, whether it comes in a car wreck, by drowning, or in old age, and calls every day on Earth a gift. Drawing on a book he recommends, The Soul's Remembrance by Roy Mills, he offers a detailed physical description of the father God: roughly twice the height of an ordinary man, with a large mane of white, flowing hair, a face marked equally by love and authority, bare feet, and a heavily muscular build he compares to Arnold Schwarzenegger. He adds that the Creator's eyes hold pools of love but can also feel terrible, because they contain everything that being has witnessed across the ages.
Angels, the Tunnel of Light, and Mother God
Turning to what happens after the expiration date, Rubie tells listeners they may be met by angels, by deceased relatives, or by a chariot driven by Archangel Gabriel, all leading to the tunnel of light he identifies with the spirit world itself. He estimates that roughly eighty percent of people go on to that world of light, while those who lived as bullies, tyrants, or killers first pass through a place of rehabilitation he calls God's jail, or hell, before continuing their soul's journey. He describes the mother God as royal and almost impossibly beautiful, comparing her to Queen Elizabeth, and says the mother and father God created the planets of the solar system, including Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and the Sun itself, using nothing but the power of spoken words, a cosmic force he says advanced souls eventually learn to wield themselves.
Earth's Hard Lessons and a Closing Prayer
Rubie calls Earth one of the most difficult schools in what he terms the university of the universe, arguing that living alongside animals that kill and eat one another, lions taking down gazelles, snakes devouring rats, is one of the deepest sources of pain for spirits used to a place of love. He shares that he is seventy two years old, vegan for twenty seven years, and living with one kidney, explaining he adopted the diet for health reasons and says he will not judge listeners who eat meat, since he did so himself for forty four years. He contrasts Earth's violence with heaven, where he says predator and prey animals live together in harmony. The broadcast closes with Rubie leading an extended prayer thanking the Creator of the universe for life and existence, asking for blessings on all of God's children, and signing off with love to his audience.

The Church of the Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie
A House Divided: Eviction, Selling the San Antonio Home, and a Prayer for a Fresh Start in Nevada
On this Labor Day weekend broadcast, Reverend Blake Rubie sets aside spiritual teaching for a candid, solo account of a decade-long housing conflict with his stepdaughter and grandchildren, his plans to sell his San Antonio house and move to Nevada, and the winding life story that brought him there, closing with a prayer to the Creator he calls Father of all souls.
Home Ownership Headaches and a Nevada Dream
Reverend Blake Rubie opens the Labor Day weekend broadcast not with scripture but with real estate, telling listeners about the San Antonio house he has owned since 2010, bought new for one hundred forty two thousand dollars and now appraised by the Bexar County Appraisal District at roughly two hundred thirteen thousand, with about ninety five thousand left on a low VA mortgage under nine hundred dollars a month. He weighs the headaches of ownership, aging air conditioning, roof shingles that may need replacing soon, against the freedom of renting where a landlord handles repairs. He says he would like to be shut of the house and imagines moving to Nevada, perhaps to Mesquite near the California border, drawn by mountains, lower humidity, and a desert climate he believes will help the sleep apnea that affects him and millions of others. His wife, he says, would rather stay in San Antonio but would follow if he insisted.
A Decade of Family Strain Begins
The story turns to family history. Rubie recalls that his wife Jackie moved into the house in 2011, followed that November by her daughter Eva and three grandchildren, and that trouble started almost immediately: no chores, no bills paid, shoes left on, rudeness toward him. He says the breaking point came when Eva, angry that he raised his voice at her crying baby, told him she would knock him out. He filed a forcible detainer with the Bexar County Justice of the Peace, beginning an eviction process that stretched nearly a year through court, an appeal, and a writ of possession before a sheriff finally arrived. Eva and the children left for Maryland, crowding into a relative's one bedroom apartment, then for Delaware, where similar conflicts arose. When they had nowhere else to go, Jackie asked if they could return, and though Rubie suggested the homeless services agency Haven for Hope instead, he agreed to let them move back in.
Renewed Conflict and a Second Eviction
Rubie describes years of uneasy coexistence broken by occasional flare ups, including a moment last year when his teenage granddaughter Malia screamed that he would never be her grandfather and later told him she hoped he would die. He again filed a forcible detainer but cancelled it when travel plans for a family reunion and a trip to Japan got in the way. He details the household's finances: Eva, fifty six, has not held a job since the early two thousands aside from paid election work, while grandchildren Endia and Malik work part time at a grocery store and Amazon, and Rubie alone covers the mortgage, utilities, HOA dues, and most food. After a new falling out this year, in which Malia was rude to Jackie over a house he had declined to buy, Rubie hired a lawyer, and the eviction notice was posted only for Eva to tape it to his pillow instead of complying, prompting Jackie to beg for more time.
Selling the House and Waiting on Goldie
Rubie explains the plan taking shape around the dog, Goldie, an elderly pit bull terrier the family had planned to keep together until she passed before separating, until his daughter in Tokyo, Cathy, and her fiance David urged him to act sooner. Jackie negotiated an extra ninety days, pushing the move out deadline to November 30, though Rubie doubts they will leave on time and expects the case to return to court, then to a writ of possession, much as it did before. He describes the repairs the house will need before he can sell it to the home buying company Opendoor, including new carpet, painting, water damaged ceilings, and counters, estimating twenty to forty thousand dollars in cosmetic work once the family's belongings and years of clutter are cleared out. He plans to give his grandson Malik several thousand dollars toward a new place, keep the family's dog despite its barking, and finally retire somewhere quiet, ideally a fifty five plus community with a pool.
A Life Lived Across Many Borders
Turning to his own history, Rubie traces a well traveled life. He recalls trips from Ottawa, Canada down through the American and Mexican borders to Guadalajara, Mexico, where his family lived and where he finished high school after his father won a court case and bought him a car during a stop in San Antonio in 1972. He describes joining the army out of Las Vegas during the Falklands War, needing a waiver for a 1979 DUI, and serving nearly forty four years between active duty, contractor work, and civilian service. He calls his son, now thirty two and living in Burbank with Terri Snell, whom Rubie describes as an actress from the Home Alone films, the true blessing of his life, recounting that he donated a kidney to him in 1995 at Stanford's Children's Hospital and that his son received a second transplant in 2014 from a friend's mother in Ohio. Rubie says he has lived in twenty five places over his lifetime and is booked to visit his son again in December.
Veganism, Compassion, and a Closing Prayer
The episode closes on themes closer to the show's usual ground. Rubie describes being vegan for twenty seven years, sober from alcohol since 1988, and content letting his wife Jackie use hemp derived THC drinks or marijuana gummies for her health, while insisting he will never smoke or drink again himself. He mentions singing for the Wounded Warriors and in a choir, and calls hosting his radio show one of the best things he has done. Despite his frustration with his stepdaughter's family, he says he still buys his granddaughter ribeye steaks and would never refuse to help feed her. He ends with an extended spoken prayer addressed to what he calls the Creator of the universe, an omnipotent, omniscient being of light he compares to the aurora borealis, asking for protection, patience, and a peaceful move out of the house he shares with his wife, and reminding listeners that everyone is equally God's child before singing a closing refrain about love defeating hate.

Growing the Soul’s Light: Earth as a School, Heaven as Home, and a Prayer for Divine Help
A World in Need of Help
The episode opens with Reverend Blake Ruby thanking previous guest Preston Dennett and returning to the subject of extraterrestrial life. Ruby says he believes humanity is not alone and argues that extraterrestrials may be reluctant to make open contact because human civilization remains violent. He points to contemporary wars and civilian deaths as evidence of that violence while also maintaining that most people are fundamentally good. He estimates that a relatively small minority of bullies, tyrants, dictators, and murderers create disproportionate harm. From there, he raises the possibility that humanity may once again need what he describes as divine or extraterrestrial intervention.
Earth as a Spiritual School
Ruby describes Earth as a difficult “school of learning” and part of what he calls the “University of the Universe.” In his spiritual framework, human beings are spirits temporarily inhabiting physical bodies, and the purpose of earthly life is not primarily material achievement but spiritual development. He divides souls into young, intermediate, and advanced categories and connects that development to the number of past lives a soul has experienced. Earth, in his view, is a category-one planet on a nine-level scale and is especially challenging because humans share the planet with animals, natural dangers, war, illness, and death. He repeatedly encourages listeners to see survival and adversity as opportunities for the soul to grow.
Growing the Light of the Soul
A central image in the episode is the soul as light. Ruby compares spiritual development to increasing the wattage of a light bulb and says the goal of life is to leave Earth with a stronger, more radiant spiritual light than one had upon arrival. He describes the soul as the “brain of the spirit” and says highly evolved beings, biblical figures, angels, Jesus, and Mother and Father God shine with especially intense light. He also describes a future life review and imagines Father Abraham offering newcomers water from the River of Life to wash away accumulated negativity. Ruby presents love, prayer, forgiveness, kindness, and positive words as practical ways to increase spiritual light while still alive.
Visions of Heaven and the World of Light
Much of the program is devoted to Ruby’s detailed description of the afterlife, which he calls humanity’s true home or the world of light. He portrays spirits as energetic, mobile beings capable of seeing in 360 degrees, traveling by thought, flying, and entering Heaven through tunnels of light, angelic chariots, or assistance from deceased relatives. He describes vivid colors, living flowers, Trees of Life, rivers, lakes, transparent-gold roads, precious stones, feasts, houses prepared for individuals, music, lectures, and worship around the throne and the Sea of Glass. In his account, deceased relatives, angels, guides, biblical figures, historical thinkers, musicians, and other souls remain active there. He says spiritual development continues in Heaven, although Earth provides a faster and more difficult environment for growth.
Reincarnation, Cosmic Evolution, and the Power of Words
Ruby expands his spiritual cosmology beyond Earth by describing reincarnation on other planets and a progression toward more advanced planetary levels. He says highly evolved worlds are characterized by mutual love and brotherhood, in contrast with Earth’s sorrow, conflict, and negativity. He also teaches that Mother and Father God themselves once evolved through planetary experiences before becoming co-Creator Gods. According to Ruby, advanced spiritual beings learn to use cosmic forces through thought, intention, and spoken words, eventually gaining the ability to create worlds, suns, and spirit children. He emphasizes that ordinary human words already carry great power because they can either wound others or lift them up.
Prayer, Forgiveness, and a Plea for Peace
The episode closes by returning to humanity’s violence and Ruby’s hope for assistance from advanced extraterrestrial or divine beings. He cites 9/11 and ongoing warfare as examples of events that impede human evolution, but he repeatedly stresses that he sees many good, loving, artistic, musical, family-oriented, and kind people in the world. He discusses Jesus as a highly evolved soul whose life and teachings, in his belief system, helped humanity and demonstrated spiritual laws. Ruby urges listeners to forgive grudges, respect the dignity and unseen struggles of other people, pray for one another, think and speak positively, and choose love. His final prayer asks the Creator to help the world survive, find peace, and treat all people as brothers and sisters.

Guest, Preston Dennett, Love, Disclosure, and Humanity’s Place in a Living Universe
The Creator and the Journey of the Soul
Reverend Blake Ruby opens by describing his search for spiritual truth and his belief that the Creator initiated the universe more than 15 billion years ago. He portrays the Creator as an omnipotent and omniscient spirit of light that can assume many forms. Ruby recounts Donna’s claimed near-death experience, during which she says she encountered the Creator, communicated telepathically, and learned that it knew every detail of existence. He presents a cosmology involving Mother and Father God, co-creator gods, reincarnation, four creative forces, and a divine spark within every soul. Ruby says spirits leave their bodies at death and enter a harmonious spiritual realm containing people from every culture and religious tradition. These teachings are presented as Ruby’s beliefs and interpretation of near-death testimony.
War, Human Life, and Spiritual Responsibility
Ruby condemns war and argues that political leaders send ordinary people to fight while avoiding the battlefield themselves. He honors those who died but questions whether conflicts such as Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and the world wars required so much loss of life. He emphasizes the everyday experiences that deceased soldiers could have continued to enjoy and extends compassion to impoverished people on opposing sides. Later, he discusses cycles of revenge, the October 7 attack, Jewish suffering in the Holocaust, and Palestinian deaths in Gaza. Ruby says humanity has become numb to the killing of men, women, and children. His broader message is that people are brothers and sisters in spirit and should replace violence with love.
Roswell, Disclosure, and Government Secrecy
Preston Dennett joins the program to discuss decades of research into UFO sightings and alleged extraterrestrial encounters. Both speakers argue that consistent testimony from unrelated witnesses supports the conclusion that humanity is not alone. Ruby focuses on Roswell, Major Jesse Marcel, unusual debris, and a government account involving a weather balloon. Dennett calls Roswell one of the best-known and most extensively investigated UFO cases and cites testimony from researchers, military personnel, rancher Mac Brazel, and Jesse Marcel Jr. He criticizes the treatment of witnesses and describes society as facing catastrophic nondisclosure rather than catastrophic disclosure. Dennett calls for alleged craft and bodies to be made available publicly and urges experiencers to speak despite ridicule.
Near-Death Experiences and Contact Transformation
Ruby and Dennett compare near-death experiences with alleged extraterrestrial contact. They say both can involve out-of-body perception, physical healing, emotional transformation, increased compassion, and new interest in spiritual or scientific subjects. Dennett reports that some experiencers develop abilities they describe as astral projection, clairvoyance, clairaudience, and precognition. He says contactees often receive messages about ending war, overcoming greed and corruption, and treating others with love. The speakers regard profound life changes as a meaningful form of evidence, even while acknowledging that hoaxes can occur. Dennett argues that experiencers should be taken seriously because their accounts may contain knowledge valuable to humanity.
Life Throughout the Universe
Ruby reasons that Earth’s vast biodiversity makes life elsewhere logically plausible, whether one believes creation was purposeful or accidental. He cites the growing discovery of planets and concludes that life is likely the norm rather than an exception. Dennett describes contactee Dolly Safran, who says extraterrestrials taught her that life throughout the universe shares symmetry with life on Earth. He notes a recurring contactee message: humanity and extraterrestrial beings are one, share a common ancestry, and come from the same source. Dennett reads a short message attributed to Safran’s contact that says love heals, sustains life, and should guide people toward higher understanding. Both men view love as the central lesson of contact and spiritual experience.
Tough Love and Humanity’s Next Step
Ruby applies the conversation about love to a difficult family situation involving his wife, stepdaughter, and grandchildren. He wants his relatives to become self-sufficient but also wants peace and financial stability in his later years. Dennett says family members can become teachers of patience and compassion, while adults must eventually learn to care for themselves. The discussion expands into humanity’s history of correcting mistaken worldviews, from beliefs about a flat Earth to changing models of the solar system. Ruby predicts that accepting extraterrestrial life will become the next major step in human evolution and believes peaceful humanity may eventually join an intergalactic community. Dennett closes by encouraging people to improve themselves first and allow love and truth to guide their actions.

The Church Of The Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie (Ordained Minister)
Running, Resilience, Reincarnation, and the Light of the Soul
Reverend Blake Rubie hosts The Church of the Souls Evolution with a personal monologue on lifelong running, Army fitness, kidney donation, health habits, veganism, singing, spiritual growth, reincarnation, the afterlife, prayer, extraterrestrial civilizations, and humanity’s need to evolve beyond war into love, dignity, and peace.
Reverend Blake Rubie Opens With Fitness, Memory, and Personal Reflection
This episode of The Church of the Souls Evolution, broadcast on August 8, 2026, is hosted entirely by Reverend Blake Rubie. The corrected transcript identifies Reverend Blake Rubie as the host and notes that the raw transcript used “Reverend Blake Ruby,” while the user-confirmed spelling is Reverend Blake Rubie. He begins by welcoming listeners and describing his morning workout at a rubber track, where he walks, jogs, and adds sprinting. From there, the episode becomes a deeply personal reflection on physical discipline, aging, health, music, spiritual growth, and the soul’s journey.
Army Running, Monterey, and the Commander's Cup
Reverend Rubie recalls his years as a runner, especially during his time in the Army at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, from June 1992 to June 1993. After telling his company that he could run two miles in about twelve minutes, he was made captain of the Golf Company run team. He describes the Commander's Cup competitions, daily training, formation runs, cadence, calisthenics, routes down to the Pacific Ocean, and the challenge of running back up the steep Monterey hill. He remembers that the team won the Commander's Cup five times in twelve months and that their best time was eleven minutes and thirty-nine seconds.
Kidney Donation, Injury, Recovery, and Exercise Adaptation
The episode then turns to one of Reverend Rubie’s defining life experiences: donating a kidney to save his son’s life in 1995. He explains that the surgery left him with a painful scar, long-term discomfort, and physical limitations that made running, push-ups, sit-ups, bending, turning, walking, and other movements more difficult. He also discusses later medical profiles in the Army, Walter Reed, GERD, reflux, spine fractures, spondylolysis, spondylolisthesis, and the gradual shift from running to walking. Rather than presenting this as defeat, he frames it as adaptation, experimentation, and a continuing effort to remain active in a way that works for his body.
The Rubber Track, Sprinting Technique, Shoes, and Breathing
Reverend Rubie gives practical detail about his present-day workout routine. He prefers a rubber track because it is softer on the joints and avoids pavement, dirt, rocks, holes, and low-traction surfaces. He uses the straightaway rather than running the curves, believing the curves can affect the knees over time. He discusses shoes, especially Skechers slip-in models, and explains that tight laces can create foot pain or affect gait. He also describes beginning sprints slowly from a jog, building into acceleration, and breathing primarily through the nose while running because, in his experience, it helps synchronize the arms, feet, and body.
Singing, Toastmasters, Sobriety, and Vegan Discipline
After discussing his workout, Reverend Rubie moves into his singing practice. He explains that he warms up a cappella, uses a microphone and sound system, and has memorized more than 150 songs. He connects singing with confidence, church solos, Toastmasters, personal growth, and public speaking. He also reflects on sobriety, saying he has not had alcohol since Labor Day weekend in 1988, and then turns to veganism, which he began in 1999 after donating a kidney. He describes becoming vegetarian first, then vegan, partly for longevity and health, and explains how discipline, research, fiber, and persistence helped him make the lifestyle work.
Venezuela, Aging, Gratitude, and the Songs He Loves
Reverend Rubie shares memories of moving to Caracas, Venezuela, as a new vegan in 2001 and learning to survive on beans, rice, vegetables, spaghetti with marinara, and cheese-free pizza. He speaks warmly of the Venezuelan people, describing them as positive despite hardship and economic difficulty. As he approaches his seventy-second birthday, he reflects honestly on health, mortality, blood work, an arm wound, and waiting for biopsy results. He also lists many songs he loves and performs, including works by the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, America, Neil Young, the Allman Brothers, John Denver, Traffic, James Taylor, Don Henley, Billy Idol, The Guess Who, the Beatles, and Gordon Lightfoot.
Spirit in the Body, Reincarnation, and the Afterlife
The second half of the monologue becomes more explicitly spiritual. Reverend Rubie describes human beings as spirits in material bodies, here through a process of reincarnation, and says that when people die, they transition to the afterlife as pure spirits. He compares the body to worn-out clothing that the spirit leaves behind and says the real self is not the body, but the soul and spirit within it. He teaches that each lifetime offers an opportunity for growth, spiritual development, and increasing the light of the soul. In his view, the Creator’s spark is placed into every soul, and the purpose of life is to brighten that divine light.
Prayer, Peace, and Humanity’s Spiritual Evolution
Reverend Rubie closes with a prayerful call for humanity to rise beyond war, violence, and spiritual immaturity. He says prayer can help save the world and repeats the message that “man will prey on man until man learns to pray for man.” He contrasts Earth’s violence with higher extraterrestrial civilizations that, in his view, may live with greater love, dignity, and respect for life. He asks whether people want to return to another low-evolution world of conflict or graduate toward higher worlds where beings recognize the sacred light within one another. The episode ends with a heartfelt prayer to Mother and Father God, asking for help, peace, love, and blessing for all people.

Time Travel, Soul Evolution, and the Prayer That Can Change the World
Reverend Blake Rubie reflects on singing, service, extraterrestrials, time travel, afterlife judgment, world conflict, prayer, and the soul’s journey, urging listeners to love one another, respect the human family, and help guide Earth toward peace.
Everyday Life, Date Night, and Toastmasters
In this episode of The Church of the Soul’s Evolution, Reverend Blake Rubie opens with a personal update from San Antonio, mentioning the weather, a movie date night with his wife, and their new Friday-night routine of going out together. He also discusses attending a Toastmasters meeting that morning, where he gave a short speech he later expands on during the broadcast. The corrected transcript notes that Blake’s spiritual, metaphysical, political, and personal reflections are preserved as his statements, while claims about extraterrestrials, time travel, hell, world politics, and religious belief are not independently verified.
Singing, Military Cadence, and Service to Wounded Warriors
Blake spends a major portion of the early episode reflecting on his lifelong connection to singing. He traces that gift back to his Army service beginning in 1982, when he sang cadence during infantry training and later carried that love of music into karaoke, church choir, and personal practice. He describes singing for wounded warriors at the Warrior and Family Support Center on Fort Sam Houston as one of the best things he has done, recalling how he brought equipment, performed during lunch gatherings, and used music as a quiet form of service, encouragement, and praise.
The Sun, Spirit, Hell, and the Recorded Life
The episode then moves into Blake’s metaphysical view of the sun, spirit, death, and afterlife judgment. He describes human beings as spirits in material bodies, says every second of life is recorded, and presents dreams as times when the spirit leaves the body and travels into “dream land.” Blake also gives an intense description of hell or purgatory as a temporary place of painful rehabilitation for deeply harmful people, while emphasizing that the Creator is ultimately merciful and that souls continue their journey after correction.
Creation, Extraterrestrials, and the Universe of Many Beings
Blake expands his reflections into a cosmology that includes the Big Bang, a male-and-female Creator, four forces of the universe, and thousands of extraterrestrial civilizations. He describes many types of beings — humanoids, greys, beings of light, hermaphroditic beings, and advanced races from other planets and galaxies — and frames Earth as a young species being helped by older souls and more advanced civilizations. He also suggests that some billionaires and powerful people may be younger souls who make life difficult for others on this planet.
Time Travel, Living Spacecraft, and Parallel Reality
The central teaching comes from Blake’s Toastmasters speech on time travel. He describes extraterrestrial spacecraft as living entities, possibly made from plant matter, crystalline structure, and other materials, piloted through consciousness and advanced mind-machine interaction. Blake says some beings can accelerate close to the speed of light, harness universal energy, and transition into a parallel or spiritual universe where time can be traveled as a location or trail. In his explanation, travelers re-enter the physical universe at a chosen point in history, then return by riding the parallel-universe path forward while avoiding the danger of returning to the same place and time as their earlier selves.
Thiaoouba, Guardianship, Nuclear Danger, and Free Will
Blake also discusses extraterrestrials from Thiaoouba, describing them as nine-foot-tall hermaphroditic guardians who have interacted with Earth for thousands of years and are represented, in his view, by the statues on Easter Island. He presents advanced civilizations as responsible for helping lower civilizations, but says they cannot override human free will except in rare moments of crisis or divine intervention. This leads into his warning about nuclear weapons, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and the possibility that civilizations must suffer consequences if they choose self-destruction rather than peaceful cooperation.
Prayer, Peace, Palestine, Iran, and the Human Family
The final section turns toward peace, prayer, and human dignity. Blake argues that Earth is a difficult school for the soul, but that people can still make the world better by loving one another, respecting human life, and praying for others. He speaks emotionally about Palestine, Israel, October 7th, Iran, war, innocent civilians, Trump, political division, and the inability of nations to talk through conflict. He closes by calling on “prayer warriors” to pray for the world, asking the Creator to help humanity survive, continue its soul evolution, and learn to love each other more fully.

The Church Of The Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie (Ordained Minister)
Extraterrestrial Contact, Earth’s Spiritual School, and the Plea for Help From Beyond
Reverend Blake Rubie explores Phil Krapf’s reported encounter with the Verdants, humanity’s possible place in an intergalactic community, and his belief that extraterrestrial assistance may connect to spiritual evolution and biblical miracles.
Alien Contact and the Question of Who Walks Among Us
In this episode of The Church of the Soul’s Evolution, Reverend Blake Rubie opens by welcoming listeners and immediately turning to the idea that extraterrestrials may be living among humanity and making contact in hidden ways. He says many species are reportedly interacting with Earth, possibly integrated into areas such as music, news, and ordinary society. From there, he introduces the story of Phil Krapf, a former L.A. Times journalist whom Reverend Rubie says wrote about a reported alien-contact experience in The Contact Has Begun.
Phil Krapf, the Verdants, and the Reported Starship Encounter
Reverend Rubie spends much of the episode recounting Krapf’s reported experience with an extraterrestrial race called the Verdants. According to the host’s retelling, Krapf was allegedly taken aboard a starship in June 1997 after seeing a bluish light in his room. He describes Krapf finding himself in an examination area, encountering several grey-skinned beings, and learning that he had been selected to write a book about their civilization and mission. Reverend Rubie presents the story as compelling while acknowledging that listeners must decide for themselves what to believe.
Discernment, Personal Impressions, and Judging Testimony
The host then reflects on how difficult it can be to know whether someone is telling the truth about extraordinary claims. He mentions communicating with Krapf by email and watching videos of him speaking at UFO-related events, saying Krapf appeared to him like a real person struggling with an overwhelming experience. Reverend Rubie branches into a personal story about meeting O.J. Simpson and offers his own speculative opinion about that case, using it to make a broader point about not judging people too quickly without direct conversation or complete information. The section reinforces one of the episode’s recurring themes: evidence, testimony, and personal discernment are complicated.
Earth’s Origins, Ancient Races, and the Intergalactic Federation
Reverend Rubie expands the discussion into a larger spiritual and extraterrestrial history. Drawing from claims he attributes to other books and sources, he discusses early human origins, races said to have arrived from other planets, Lemuria, Mu, Atlantis, Hebrew ancestry, and the idea that Earth has long been observed by advanced beings. He says the Verdants monitored humanity’s violence and development before deciding whether Earth might be suitable for induction into an intergalactic federation of sovereign planets. He frames Earth as a difficult school of learning where souls evolve through hardship, choice, love, and spiritual growth.
Food, Matter Transformation, and Peaceful Advancement
The host also describes details from Krapf’s reported time aboard the ship, including rooms, meetings, lectures, food, and orientation sessions. Reverend Rubie says the Verdants were described as vegan beings who could transform plant matter into food that looked, smelled, and tasted like familiar meals while being nutritionally optimized. He connects this to his own mostly vegan lifestyle and uses the story to imagine how advanced civilizations might solve human problems such as nutrition, scarcity, and violence through technology and higher moral development. The episode repeatedly contrasts advanced peaceful beings with what the host sees as humanity’s warlike tendencies.
9/11, Delayed Contact, and a Plea to Extraterrestrials
According to Reverend Rubie’s retelling, the Verdants had considered Earth barely acceptable for contact, with a plan that could have led to open contact around 2010. He says this plan changed after 9/11, which he describes as causing extraterrestrials to reconsider humanity’s readiness because of ongoing violence. Reverend Rubie then makes a direct plea to extraterrestrials who might be listening, asking them to help humanity clean itself up because, in his view, most people are decent, loving, family-oriented, artistic, musical, and peaceful, while a smaller group of tyrants and violent leaders creates much of the suffering. His appeal is emotional, spiritual, and focused on the hope that advanced beings might help Earth avoid destruction.
Biblical Miracles, ET Technology, and Spiritual Interpretation
Near the end, Reverend Rubie connects extraterrestrial technology to biblical miracles, presenting his belief that events associated with Moses, Jesus, Lazarus, healing, water turning into wine, and the feeding of thousands may have involved coordination with alien spacecraft or advanced technology. He emphasizes that this is his opinion and that listeners do not have to believe him. He closes with a prayerful message asking the creative universe to bless humanity, help people become more peaceful, and teach them to love one another. The episode ends as both a speculative UFO monologue and a spiritual reflection on humanity’s need for guidance, humility, and evolution.

The Church Of The Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie (Ordained Minister)
From Army Roads to Soul Evolution:
Service, Sacrifice, Reincarnation, and the Power of Prayer
Spiritual Seeking, Public Speaking, and the Soul’s Journey
In this episode of The Church of the Soul’s Evolution, host Reverend Blake Rubie opens by introducing the show as a place where he talks about spirituality and truth-seeking. He references his book The Grey Brain and the Golden Soul, explaining his belief that the physical brain relates to the body while the soul relates to the spirit. From there, he connects his radio work to public speaking, music, Toastmasters, and the value of learning to speak clearly and confidently over time.
Toastmasters, Venezuela, and a Life of Service
Reverend Blake reflects on his long relationship with Toastmasters and public speaking, tracing it back to his time in Cleveland and then into his Army assignment in Caracas, Venezuela. He describes serving in the military group there, improving his Spanish by speaking with local security guards, and remembering the poverty and gratitude he saw among Venezuelan people. He presents this period as both a professional and personal learning experience, shaped by language, faith, human connection, and awareness of economic hardship.
Civilian Army Work, San Antonio, and a 44-Year Career
The episode then follows Blake’s transition from active-duty Army service into contractor and civilian work. He describes receiving a job opportunity through Rosemary and Tom Levitt, working under Army Installation Management Command, moving through contract changes involving Booz Allen Hamilton and Calibre, and eventually relocating to San Antonio when the organization moved from Crystal City, Virginia. He recounts working in operations, worldwide individual augmentation systems, and Army databases until his retirement, totaling almost 44 years of service connected to the Army.
Family History, Immigration, Martial Arts, and Military Formation
Blake looks back at his parents’ lives, including his father’s British Army service in World War II, his mother’s experience during the bombing of London, their migration to Canada, and the family’s later move to Guadalajara, Mexico. He then recounts his own early adulthood in San Diego, college studies, philosophy, martial arts, and work as a bellman before joining the Army in 1982. His military path includes infantry training, Germany, Fort Polk, Korea, Bowling Green State University ROTC, and the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, where he studied Turkish and led a competitive Army running team.
Leadership, Language School, and Personal Achievement
A major portion of the episode centers on Blake’s pride in physical training, leadership, and military achievement. He describes leading a run team at Monterey, training hard, winning a large trophy five times, and recording a fast team time. He then discusses his Turkish language studies, passing the Defense Language Proficiency Test, attending the basic non-commissioned officer course at Fort Benjamin Harrison, and winning the honor graduate, distinguished leader, and Iron Man awards. These stories emphasize discipline, competitiveness, perseverance, and the pride his parents felt in his accomplishments.
Kidney Donation, His Son’s Trials, and the Gift of Life
The most personal section concerns Blake’s son, who was born with underdeveloped kidneys and eventually needed dialysis and transplantation. Blake explains that he received a compassionate reassignment, moved to the Presidio of San Francisco, and donated one of his kidneys to his son at Stanford University Children’s Hospital in March 1995. He describes the physical effects of that old-style surgery, the scar, later disability issues, and the lifestyle changes it required. He strongly encourages kidney donation as a gift of life while also urging people to research how it may change them, and he mentions his son’s book Finding Faith Through Dialysis as a resource for people facing similar trials.
Reincarnation, Prayer, Afterlife Beliefs, and the Creator
The final portion turns fully toward Reverend Blake’s spiritual teachings. He presents his belief that human beings are co-creator gods in the making, moving through reincarnation across planets and lives toward eventual spiritual creation and union. He rejects eternal damnation, describing hell as temporary spiritual rehabilitation, and speaks intensely about suicide, prayer for souls, universal law, and the power of praying for others. The episode closes with Blake teaching that “a man will prey on man until man learns to pray for man,” then offering a prayer directly to the Creator of the universe, asking for blessing, help, love, and divine will for all children of Earth.

The Church Of The Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie (Ordained Minister)
Growing the Soul’s Light Through Prayer, Compassion, and Spiritual Reflection
From Public Speaking to Spiritual Purpose
Reverend Blake Rubie opens from his backyard after a day of thunderstorms and reflects on his involvement with Toastmasters, where he serves as Vice President Education. He describes public speaking as a skill that once frightened him but now supports his personal growth, leadership, communication, and church singing. From there, he transitions into the episode’s central spiritual theme: his belief that human beings are spirits living temporarily in physical bodies.
The Soul Beyond the Physical Body
Rubie presents his belief that death releases the spirit from the body and returns it to a realm of light, freedom, and expanded awareness. He discusses near-death experiences, the image of traveling through a tunnel toward light, and his view that the sun is connected to the spiritual world. He repeatedly emphasizes that spiritual development is, in his opinion, the most important purpose of earthly life.
A Life Review Measured by Kindness
The host describes a spiritual life review in which people experience the emotional effects their words and actions had on others. According to Rubie, each soul carries a different intensity of light based on its spiritual growth and conduct. He encourages listeners to increase that light through kindness, generosity, forgiveness, positivity, and respect for every living person, including those with whom they strongly disagree.
Politics, Suffering, and Shared Humanity
Rubie criticizes the hostility he sees in political media and urges people to recognize the humanity of political opponents rather than reducing them to parties or positions. He references Donald Trump as an example while making clear that his larger point concerns compassion for all living people. He also discusses homelessness, healthcare, economic inequality, war, and violence, arguing from his spiritual perspective that societies should become more generous and attentive to vulnerable people.
Extraterrestrials, Evolution, and the Created Universe
The episode broadens into Rubie’s metaphysical beliefs about extraterrestrial civilizations, reincarnation, planetary evolution, and humanity’s possible future within an intergalactic community. He refers to films, online videos, alleged Sasquatch encounters, and his interpretation of advanced civilizations as prompts for considering realities beyond conventional understanding. These ideas are presented as his personal spiritual conclusions rather than established scientific facts.
Heaven, Judgment, and the Consequences of Free Will
Rubie outlines his beliefs about Mother and Father God, angels, demons, heaven, hell, and the moral consequences of human choices. He says human beings possess free will while angels serve specific divine roles, and he portrays spiritual accountability as a universal law requiring people to face the effects of harmful actions. At the same time, he stresses forgiveness and encourages listeners not to carry resentment to the end of their lives.
Prayer as a Force for Peace
The program closes with Rubie’s repeated phrase that humanity will continue to “prey” on others until people learn to “pray” for one another. He urges listeners to pray for homeless people, travelers, victims of abuse, those affected by war, and anyone facing danger or hardship. His final prayer asks the Creator for help ending violence, protecting innocent people, and guiding humanity toward love, peace, spiritual growth, and greater unity.

The Church Of The Souls Evolution with The Reverend Blake Rubie (Ordained Minister)
Songs of Faith, Freedom, and the Search for Spiritual Truth
A July Fourth Show of Music, Reflection, and Gratitude
In this episode of The Church of the Soul’s Evolution, Reverend Blake Rubie opens with a July Fourth greeting and explains that he plans to dedicate the program largely to singing, with spiritual reflections between songs. He says he is preparing to fill in at church and sing “God Bless the USA,” then frames the show around music, faith, patriotism, spirituality, extraterrestrial ideas, and the importance of continuing to learn. From the beginning, he emphasizes humility, saying no human being knows everything and that people should share beliefs while respecting free will and personal opinion.
“God Bless the USA” and the Meaning of Patriotic Song
Reverend Rubie begins musically with Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA,” explaining that he has practiced the song for church and previously attempted it in a karaoke setting. After performing portions of the song, he reflects on the challenge and value of a cappella singing. He says singing without musical backing requires stronger breath control and vocal discipline, and he recommends it as a way to improve vocal performance. He also links his singing background to his military service, where he first recognized his voice through marching and running cadence.
Army Cadence, Karaoke, and Singing for Wounded Warriors
The episode then becomes partly autobiographical as Reverend Rubie recalls serving in the Army from 1982 to 2004, learning cadence at Fort Benning, and later singing karaoke after leaving basic infantry training and continuing his military career. He describes developing a repertoire through karaoke, church choir, gospel music, Beatles songs, Eagles songs, and other popular standards. A central memory is his six years singing for Wounded Warriors at Fort Sam Houston, where he performed for injured service members in a casual setting and built a song list centered on God, love, nature, rock and roll, and encouragement.
Jesus, the Blood, and the Mystery Behind Miracles
Reverend Rubie then performs “Thank You Jesus for the Blood,” using it as a bridge into Christian reflection. He speaks about the crucifixion, the blood of Jesus, the resurrection, and his desire to understand the mechanics behind biblical miracles. Rather than simply accepting miracles as unknowable events, he says he wants to understand how Jesus turned water into wine, healed lepers, walked on water, calmed storms, and fed thousands. He suggests that these events may be explainable through universal laws, principles, physics, quantum mechanics, or advanced spiritual knowledge, and he points listeners toward a book he identifies as Abduction to the Ninth Planet, The Phyauuba Prophecies, or The Golden Planet.
Blessing America and Honoring Service
In the patriotic middle section, Reverend Rubie sings and reflects on “God Bless America,” “America the Beautiful,” and “The Army Song.” He prays that God will continue to bless the United States, describing America as a great experiment inspired by God and built around freedom, equality, and the pursuit of happiness. He also celebrates the natural beauty of the country, referencing its mountains, rivers, lakes, plains, forests, national parks, and open roads. His Army reflections are deeply personal, as he recalls 22 years of active duty, nearly 44 years total working for the Army, service gatherings on cruises, veterans from different eras, and gratitude for the Army as a second family.
A Cappella Memories and Popular Songs From a Lifetime
The later part of the program becomes a loose musical showcase as Reverend Rubie mentions and performs portions of songs from the Beatles, the Eagles, Frank Sinatra, John Denver, Kansas, and other artists. He references songs such as “Yesterday,” “Seven Bridges Road,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” and “Sunshine on My Shoulders,” using them to demonstrate his long-standing love of singing and memorized performance. These segments are less structured as teaching and more like a personal musical visit, showing how singing has accompanied him through military life, church life, travel, caregiving, and personal growth.
Closing Prayer for the Creator’s Blessing
The episode closes with Reverend Rubie offering a simple prayer to the Creator of the universe. He asks for blessing, safety, wellness, and help for all of God’s children on Earth, ending in Jesus’ name. The final tone is one of gratitude, patriotism, faith, music, humility, and reverence, with Reverend Rubie using the July Fourth weekend as a chance to sing, remember, reflect, and encourage listeners to keep searching for truth while honoring God, country, service, and spiritual growth.
