We've got a couple movies, a 'whodunit show' and a returning TV favorite of ours. Shrinking, season 3 continues it's formula of making you laugh, care, cry and sometimes cringe. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. What happens when a rogue crew of WW2 dudes take on some crappy nazis? Uh, some action, laughs and action. The Mamoa teams up with Dave Bautista for some Hawaii tourism footage...and a little kick-ass! A new Agatha Christie limited series hits Netflix. And it's uh....uh...just check out our review. This week's episode.... A very non-Darren-Aronofsky-ish Darren Aronofsky movie about a baseball fan who's caught up in a sticky situation with some Orthodox Jewish hitmen, russian thugs and a corrupt cop. You know...the usual!  The Counting Crows ruled the 90s airwaves and now there's a documentary on HBO Max about the band it's frontman's mental health problems. We reminisce on their music and the period in our lives when they were huge. Game of Thrones has a new spinoff called 'A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms' and it's way different from what you'd expect. Is that a good thing? Mmmmmaybe. This week: It's been getting a lot of awards buzz but is Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another" actually a good watch? We give you 2 reviews after another. One of Moose's favorite movie monsters is back but this time he's...a good guy? "Predator: Badlands." and finally, a historical moment in US history that certainly doesn't get talked about enough gets a narrative telling on Netflix. "Death By Lightning" is a limited series about the assassination of James Garfield as well as his assassin. Enjoy! PS....even if you don't watch the 'Predator' movie we talk about here, check out the 'legs fight' sequence at the very least.   Give us a good review and please subscribe!   If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

Tis the season for a child-eating clown!  Welcome to the show. This week give our reviews of... "It: Welcome to Derry." A prequel series to "It (2017)". a blast from the past with the 1963 HUGE flop, "Cleopatra." Plus, our favorite Christmas movies to watch during the holiday season. Have a great rest of your holiday season and thanks for listening! In this episode, we get busy with quite a few titles. A couple of monsters (Frankenstein 2025, Ed Gein) a coupe of hive minds (Pluribus and Weapons) and one quirky show with a well-known star that just...doesn't...quite work for us (The Lowdown).   So sit back, grab and egg nog and brandy (or whatever holiday drink you prefer) and listen to the married couple talking TV shows and Movies. Also, use the chapter markers to jump to the show you care about. You're welcome! And thanks for listening!   Give us a good review and please subscribe!   If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

This episode we tackle a couple of great dramatic shows and a couple of very different documentaries. "Task". From the creator of 'Mare of Easttown' The documentary about everyone's favorite 80s comedic actor who left us WAY too early. A completely different documentary about a ruthless neighbor who's hate and paranoia cost someone their life. "Slow Horses" is one of our favorite shows and it's latest season didn't disappoint. But, come one, only 6 episodes?! At least give us 8! Give us a good review and please subscribe!   If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

Well, we didn't mean to do an episode covering only James Gunn projects but that's kind of how it shook out. In this episode Season 2 of Peacemaker. Why it's not quite as good as the first season but man, John Cena is really accessing his acting chops though! 'Superman (2025)'. Why is The Man of Steel getting his butt kicked the whole movie? And who thought casting Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor was a good idea? It's not without it's pluses but this move...meh.   Give us a good review and please subscribe! Checking out some more TV shows this week with a deep dive into some... "Alien: Earth." Is an Alien running around New York City or something like that? Eh. Not quite. We go over how this show was good, not great. "Fit For TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser," is a docuseries about the reality show that made every one either love or hate Jillian Michaels. Thanks for listening, Moose and Jodie.   Give us a good review and please subscribe!   If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing with these episode titles. Sometimes I think I should just put the title of the shows/movies we're talking about and be done with it. But what's the fun in that? Anyway, this week.... "Smoke" goes into the world of arson investigation...with some twists! A remake of a movie your parents never saw gets some cool kills. And, it's not too bad. We check out 'The Amateur.' It's like 'Yellowstone' but without the cowboy boots, Kevin Costner and 'Sons of Anarchy' vibe. Our third show this week is 'Untamed' starring Eric 'Where Has He Been" Bana. Crikey!   Give us a good review and please subscribe!   If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

Well holy-moly we got us an episode! Been a bit but we were busy getting a puppy and trying to sleep through the night (we mostly did not). Checkout our @marriedwchanns twitter page for a pic. This week! "Your Friends and Neighbors" on Apple TV+ "Duster" on HBO Max quick mention of 'Murderbot' on Apple TV+   Give us a good review and please subscribe! On this episode of 'Moose and Jodie slinging takes on TV and movies', or, 'Married with Channels.' "Government Cheese" is not just a bad facsimile of actual cheese but a show on Apple TV+. Seth Rogen goes behind the scenes of movie-making with some of the 'silly' thrown in there in 'The Studio.' "The Mortician" is about a guy who burns bodies who was too good at his job and maybe murdered someone. So sad.   Give us a good review and please subscribe!   If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

Welcome all to the best podcast featuring a married couple talking about TV and movies! This week: Andor, season 2. The series was supposed to go 5 season but they've condensed things down into the 2nd and final season. Hacks, season 4. Deborah and Ava's relationship continues to be fascinating dynamic of love, hate, envy and mortality. Oh, and IT'S FUNNY TOO! Arguably one of the funniest shows of the past 5 years calls it quits and we have our take on it. The Righteous Gemstones makes us...uh...you'll just have to listen to get that joke! Give us a good review and please subscribe! If you have any show or movie recommendations for us please get those to us via our Twitter at www.twitter.com/MarriedWChanns.

Back with a look at the season (and season finales) of... 'The White Lotus'.  Tropical settting, rich people, murder/death. YAS PLEASE! 'Reacher.' Was this the best season so far? We think so. Plus, Anthony Michael Hall, ya'll. Documentary about the tragedy of the film 'Rust'. Which, by the way, opens May 2. And finally... WHAT THE KIDS ARE WATCHING! Where we share what our kids are watching. Sometimes it's with us and sometimes it's without. But ALWAYS parentally approved. In this week's episode.. "Landman" starring Billy Bob ThorntonOfWickedLines "American Primeval". The west was brutal. Who knew!? "The Pitt". Is it just an ER spinoff? Or is it something more? (hint: It's way more!) "Conclave." Electing a new pope is just like regular elections except no attack ads.
