So what do you as a brother, sister, mother, father, daughter or friend need to know and do to help move the needle with the young boys and men in your life? Dr David Nalumango, founder of Bopelo Health Centre and a specialist in this area, explains how circumcision can help end unexplained recurring fevers in children, protect men and their partners from HIV and help prevent cancer of the cervix in women.

16.11.20 - This has honestly been one of the most difficult interviews I have had to do. For so many reasons. One, because cancer has a very close connection to a personal tragedy that happened in my family where we lost our mother to ovarian cancer, but also because I was speaking to an elderly {very charismatic} man who kindly came forward and trusted me to tell his personal story. Men are generally not very open about their issues or feelings so it was overwhelming for me to take on this task. 'Movember' is all about men’s health issues ranging from mental to physical health. This month, we decided to focus on one particular physical issue, prostate cancer.
