It's Guest Gabble time! Lovely friends from patreon are invited to be guests on the podcast today to rant about any kdrama they have watched that had a truly terrible ending. Like, those Korean drama endings so bad they made you wish you'd never watched the show in the first place. Be warned! This episode is a big, spoilery rant! And also heaps of fun! Here are Evie's top ten favourite kdramas (as of recording in mid-2022) and be warned ... her choices are weird? But she can't help it! These are the Korean dramas that will forever own her heart!!!

Lose your eyes, find your eyes, lose your eyes, and then turn into a big demon smoke, because this week on the show Evie is chatting about the 2021 fantasy romance kdrama RED SKY LOVERS. Starring the beautiful Kim Yoo-jung, Ahn Hyo-sep and Gong Myung, with a fun villain played by Kwak Si Yang, this historical Korean drama started with a bang (so charming, so fun, so swoony!) and then (in Evie's opinion) sort of ended with a small whimper. Buckle up and be warned, Evie didn't adore the end of this one.

Grab some illegal moonshine liquor and then take over the Joseon gangster underworld, all while falling in love with the man hunting you, because this week Evie is chatting about the absolute joy of a historical Kdrama rom-com MOONSHINE, also known as When Flowers Bloom, I think of the Moon. This 2022 fun and fizzy adventure sageuk stars Hyeri as the coolest criminal around and Yoo Seung-ho as the police investigator trying to arrest her (obviously he falls in love with her instead! Brilliant!). This Korean drama also has excellent appearances from second leads Byeon Woo-seok (charming Joseon prince) and Kang Mi-na (another cool sort of criminal! What a girl!). If you hadn't already guessed, Evie loved this one!

Star in a documentary with your worst enemy and bicker your way to love, because this week Evie is chatting about the charming romance kdrama OUR BELOVED SUMMER from 2022. This one was sweet, gentle and romantic, and stars the very cute Choi Woo-sik, Kim Da-mi, and Kim Sung-cheol. This one felt like a summer breeze! 

Climb a mountain, fight a crime and then turn into a ghost (?!) because this week on the show Evie is chatting about the 2021 thriller kdrama JIRISAN. This action and supernatural mountain rescue Korean drama (what a weird genre!) stars Jun Ji-hyun and Joo Ji-hoon, and a whole lot of timelines (four timelines, right?) and is a twisty, twisty show that requires rather a lot of thought! Fall asleep and then choke the woman you love (nearly to death!) because this week on the show Evie is chatting about the 2021 romcom kdrama LET ME BE YOUR KNIGHT. Starring Lee Jun-young and Jung In-sun, this fluffy Korean drama about idols and mistaken identity didn't quite hit the mark for Evie. Actually ... she sort of hated it. Ranty rant ahead. Grab a dress, a sword, and a birth secret, and then pretend to be a woman in order to infiltrate a village of ladies in this zingy, swoony historical rom-com. This week, Evie is chatting with Gee about the first episode of the spectacular TALE OF NOKDU, a 2019 sageuk romantic comedy kdrama, starring the wonderful Jang Dong-yoon and incredible Kim So-hyun, that is one of Evie's favourite dramas ever. Draw a handsome webtoon man and then marry him (and then get shot!) because this week on the show, Evie is chatting about the twisty fantasy romance kdrama from 2016 called W: TWO WORLDS APART. This Korean drama stars Lee Jong-suk as a flirty webtoon and Han Hyo-joo as his very confused love, and it is fun, thrilling and very unique. What a wild ride! Go to school to learn but get bitten by a zombie instead! This week on the show, Evie is chatting about the rather spectacular 2022 chaotic zombie high school kdrama ALL OF US ARE DEAD. This one was thrilling and scary, and also left a hollow ache in Evie's stomach at the end ... boo hoo. It stars excellent actors Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hu, Cho Yi-hyun and Lomon, among many others. What a wild (and slightly heartbreaking) ride! Evie loved this Korean drama very much!
