Silencing Imposter Syndrome: 12 Actionable Steps to Own Your Voice
2026/04/17
If you've ever sat in a meeting, been asked for your opinion, and immediately thought…
"Who am I to speak up?"
"They're going to find out I don't belong here."
You're not alone.
In this episode, we're talking about imposter syndrome — not just what it is, but what to actually do about it.
Because I'm done with advice that sounds good but doesn't help you in real life… like on a Tuesday morning when you're about to walk into a client call and your confidence is nowhere to be found.
This episode is packed with real, actionable steps you can start using today.
Here's something to hold onto:
70% of people across every industry experience imposter syndrome.
Maya Angelou felt it.
Tom Hanks talked about it.
Michelle Obama wrote about it.
So if you've ever felt like you're one mistake away from being exposed — you're in very good company.
And more importantly, there is a way through it.
In This Episode, We Cover:
• How to recognize imposter syndrome when it shows up
• How to reframe the stories you're telling yourself
• How to take action even when you don't feel ready
• How to build confidence through consistent action
• 12 practical steps to help you own your voice

Tip #1: Name It Out Loud
The next time that voice shows up, don't ignore it — name it.
Say: "I'm experiencing imposter syndrome right now."
When you label the emotion, you activate the rational part of your brain and shift from reaction to response.
This isn't truth — it's a feeling. And feelings can be worked with.
Tip #2: Remember You're Not Alone
70% of people experience this.
That means the people sitting in your next Zoom call are likely feeling it too.
You're not broken.
You're growing.
Tip #3: Keep a Win Journal
Imposter syndrome has selective memory.
It remembers your mistakes — and forgets your wins.
Start tracking your wins weekly:
• Solved a problem
• Got a thank you message
• Finished something hard
This becomes your proof when your brain tries to tell you otherwise.
Tip #4: Separate Feelings from Facts
Ask yourself:
Is this true… or does it just feel true?
Your thoughts are convincing — but they're not always accurate.
Challenge them.
Tip #5: Embrace the Learning Curve
Replace: "I don't belong here"
With: "I haven't learned this yet."
That one word changes everything.
Discomfort doesn't mean you're in the wrong place — it means you're growing.
Tip #6: Act First, Feel Confident Later
Confidence doesn't come before action.
It comes from action.
Do it scared.
Do it messy.
Do it anyway.
Tip #7: Share Before It's Perfect
Perfectionism and imposter syndrome go hand in hand.
Stop waiting for perfect.
Share at 80%.
Progress builds confidence — perfection delays it.
Tip #8: Say Yes to One Stretch Opportunity
Pick one thing this month that scares you.
• Apply for something
• Pitch yourself
• Start the thing
Growth happens when you stretch.
Tip #9: Find a Mentor or Accountability Partner
You don't have to do this alone.
Mentors don't just give advice — they give permission.
Accountability keeps you moving forward when doubt creeps in.
Tip #10: Talk About It
Imposter syndrome thrives in silence.
Say it out loud.
Most of the time, you'll hear:
"Me too."
Tip #11: Celebrate Others Without Comparing
Someone else's success is not your failure.
It's proof that it's possible.
Practice celebrating others — it builds an abundance mindset.
Tip #12: Create Your Evidence List
Write down your top 5 real accomplishments.
Keep them visible.
When doubt shows up, read them out loud.
Because the antidote to a lie is the truth.
Final Thoughts
You are not behind.
You are not unqualified.
You are not a fraud.
You are growing.
And everything you're feeling right now is part of becoming the person you're meant to be.
If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who needs it.
And remember — you don't need to feel ready to take the next step.
You just need to take it.

About Jay Campbell
Jay Campbell is a health optimization pioneer, five-time international bestselling author, and co-founder of BioLongevity Labs, a leading peptide and bioregulator company.
With over two decades of experience in peptides, hormone optimization, and human longevity, Jay translates complex biomedical research into practical, evidence-based strategies that help people improve their metabolism, vitality, and overall well-being.
His work focuses on helping individuals optimize their biology, extend their healthspan, and live with greater energy and intention.
What Are Peptides and Why Are They So Powerful?
So let's start here — peptides are essentially chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body.
And what makes them so powerful is that they don't just mask symptoms — they communicate with your body at a cellular level.
Jay explains that peptides can help address the root cause of illness, disease, and dysregulation, which is why they're being seen as a major shift in modern health.
Jay: "Peptides really do represent what I call a fundamental, if not quantum change in health… they address the root cause of illness, disease, and dysregulation."
Why Hormone Optimization Comes First
Before jumping into peptides, Jay emphasizes something critical:
If your hormones are not balanced, your results with peptides will be limited.
Many people today are unknowingly dealing with hormone deficiencies due to stress, environment, and lifestyle.
Jay: "If you have a hormone deficiency, it's much harder to experience transformational results from peptides."
The Truth About GLP-1 Peptides
GLP-1 peptides are one of the most talked-about topics right now — especially for fat loss.
But Jay explains that the negative side effects people hear about are usually due to:
Starting at too high of a dose Poor lifestyle habits When used correctly — especially through microdosing and proper lifestyle support — these peptides can be incredibly effective.
Jay: "The side effects… are dose and lifestyle related."
Where to Start with Peptides
If you're new to peptides, it can feel overwhelming.
Jay recommends starting with your biggest need — not everything at once.
For many people, that's fat loss or metabolic health.
From there, you can layer in other peptides for:
Sleep Recovery Healing Cognitive support The key is to keep it simple and intentional.
What Is Peptide Stacking?
Stacking peptides means combining different peptides together to enhance results.
But this is considered more advanced.
Jay recommends:
Start with one peptide Learn how your body responds Then gradually introduce combinations He also explains the importance of cycling peptides to avoid receptor fatigue.
Peptides for Healing, Brain Health, and Anti-Aging
One of the most exciting aspects of peptides is how versatile they are.
There are peptides designed for:
Injury recovery and healing Brain function and memory Anti-aging and skin health Mitochondrial support Some peptides even show potential in supporting neurodegenerative conditions — highlighting how powerful this space is becoming.
Why Lifestyle Still Matters
Peptides are powerful — but they are not magic.
Jay emphasizes that results come from combining peptides with:
Proper nutrition Strength training Cardiovascular exercise Hormone optimization Without these, even the best peptides won't deliver optimal results.
The Future of Peptides
As research continues to grow, peptides are becoming more accessible and more advanced.
From new delivery systems to more targeted therapies, Jay believes peptides will continue to transform how we approach health, longevity, and performance.
Final Thoughts
Peptides represent a powerful tool in modern wellness — but like any tool, they must be used correctly.
When combined with the right lifestyle, proper guidance, and a clear understanding of your body, they can support true transformation at a deeper level.
How to Get Your First 3 Coaching Clients (Without a Huge Audience)
2026/03/27
If you've been posting, learning, tweaking your offers, and still wondering why no one is reaching out to work with you — this episode is for you.
Because getting your first three clients is not about having a big audience, going viral, or building a complicated funnel.
It's about clarity, connection, and taking simple, consistent action.
In this episode, I'm breaking down exactly how to get your first three paying coaching clients, even if you're just getting started and don't have a large following.
Once you land those first three clients, everything changes — your confidence, your messaging, your momentum, and your belief in what you're building.
In This Episode, I Cover: • Why your first 3 clients matter more than your first 100
• The biggest mistake new coaches make when trying to get clients
• Why you don't need a large audience to start signing clients
• The mindset shift from perfection to connection
• How to get clear on your niche and message
• What a simple starter offer actually looks like
• Where your first clients are really coming from
• How to start conversations that lead to clients
• Why you must clearly invite people to work with you
• The role of messy action in building your business

Why Your First 3 Clients Change Everything So I want you to understand — your first three clients are not just about making money.
They are about momentum.
They give you proof, confidence, and the shift from feeling like you're trying to be a coach… to actually becoming one.
"Once you get those first three, everything starts to shift… you stop feeling like you're trying to be a coach and start actively becoming one."
You Don't Need a Big Audience One of the biggest myths I see new coaches believing is that they need thousands of followers before they can sign clients.
You don't.
You don't need a perfect website, branding, or a huge audience.
What you do need is:
• A clear problem you solve
• A simple way to talk about it
• The courage to invite people
"You don't need 10K followers… what you need is a clear problem you help people solve… and the courage to actually invite people."
Your Clients Come from Connection, Not Perfection I see so many coaches stuck in preparation mode.
Tweaking graphics.
Rewriting bios.
Taking another course.
All while avoiding the one thing that actually gets clients — connection.
Your first clients don't come from perfection.
They come from conversations.
"Your first clients come from connection, not perfection."
Stop Trying to Help Everyone If your message is vague, people won't feel seen.
Instead, focus on:
• One type of person
• One clear problem
You want someone to hear your message and immediately think:
"That's me."
"When we try to help everyone, your message gets weak and vague… pick one type of person and one main problem."
Keep Your Offer Simple You don't need a complicated program to start.
Your first offer can be:
• A 4-week coaching package
• A 6-week jumpstart
• A single intensive
• A beta offer
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is experience, results, and momentum.
"The goal is not to create your forever offer… it's to create an offer that helps someone get a result."
Your First Clients Are Already Around You Most people overcomplicate this part.
Your first clients are likely:
• Friends
• Family
• Followers
• People already watching you
These are the easiest people to start with because trust already exists.
"It's most likely the people who know you… these are the easiest people to start with."
You Have to Tell People You're Open This is where many coaches drop the ball.
They post content — but never actually say:
"I'm taking clients."
You need to be clear.
You need to invite.
You need to lead.
"People cannot hire you if they don't know you exist."
Conversations Close Clients Content builds awareness.
But conversations build trust and close clients.
This looks like:
• Responding to comments
• Messaging people back
• Asking questions
• Inviting people to calls
"Content can open the door, but conversations close the gap."
Don't Ignore Offline Opportunities Not everything happens online.
Some of your fastest wins can come from:
• Local events
• Workshops
• Networking
• Conversations in real life
Sometimes the quickest way to sign a client is to stop hiding behind your phone.
You Have to Ask At some point, you need to make an offer.
Not pushy. Not salesy. Just clear.
Examples:
• "I'm opening 3 spots…"
• "I'm looking for women who want support with…"
• "Send me the word START…"
"Your first three clients are not going to come from hoping people figure it out."
Your First Clients Are Data Your first clients help you learn:
• What people actually need
• How they talk about their problems
• What objections come up
• How to refine your offer
They are not meant to be perfect.
They are part of the process.
"They're feedback, data, market research, and proof of concept."
Final Thoughts If you've been waiting to feel ready…
Waiting for more followers…
Waiting for everything to be perfect…
You don't need to wait.
You need to start.
Your first three clients are already within reach — through the conversations you haven't started yet.
"Messy action will build your business faster than perfection ever will."

If you're a spiritual entrepreneur with a big heart who wants to help people but often finds yourself overwhelmed, overworking, or on the edge of burnout, this episode will feel incredibly familiar.
Many wellness entrepreneurs start their businesses with a deep calling to serve. But without strong boundaries, sustainable systems, and nervous system regulation, that passion can quickly turn into exhaustion.
In this episode, I'm joined by Harmony Slater, a certified mastery coach, breathwork trainer, and one of only twenty women worldwide to hold the highest-level Ashtanga Yoga certification. Harmony has spent over 25 years guiding students across 33 countries through yoga, meditation, energy work, and somatic healing.

If you've ever felt like you're constantly hustling, second-guessing yourself, or stuck in cycles of overwhelm and exhaustion, this episode will give you a new perspective on what sustainable business growth really looks like.
In This Episode, We Discuss Why spiritual entrepreneurs often burn out faster than they expect The hidden patterns of undercharging, overgiving, and people-pleasing How nervous system dysregulation affects creativity and productivity The role of trauma and deeper emotional work in entrepreneurship Simple breathwork and embodiment practices to regulate stress How to create boundaries while growing a heart-centered business Why rest and recovery are essential for sustainable success

Why Spiritual Entrepreneurs Experience Burnout Spiritual entrepreneurs often enter business because they genuinely want to serve others. But that heart-centered intention can sometimes lead to patterns that make burnout more likely.
Many healers, coaches, and wellness professionals struggle with pricing their services, valuing their time, and setting boundaries.
Harmony explains that burnout often happens when entrepreneurs build a business where they end up working for the business instead of having the business support their life.
Harmony: "You're building a company or business for yourself, but then you are working for your business rather than having your business work for you."
The Pattern of Undercharging and Overgiving Many spiritual entrepreneurs have been conditioned to believe their soft skills or healing work are not truly monetizable.
As a result, they may undercharge, overdeliver, and try to do everything themselves without support.
Harmony describes how these patterns often stem from scarcity beliefs and difficulty valuing their own time and expertise.
Harmony: "They're undercharging, overgiving, not really valuing their time, not having great boundaries around their time."
When Misalignment Shows Up in Your Nervous System
Misalignment doesn't always appear as obvious burnout at first. Instead, it often shows up through nervous system dysregulation.
This can look like:
Procrastination Overworking Constant overwhelm Fear of visibility Creative blocks Second-guessing decisions Harmony explains that when entrepreneurs stay in these fight-or-flight states too long, burnout becomes inevitable.
Harmony: "Nervous system dysregulation often shows up… operating in fight or flight, freeze, or fawn."
The Importance of Doing Your Own Inner Work One of the deeper themes in this episode is that burnout often reveals unresolved inner patterns.
Many coaches and healers help others process trauma or emotional blocks, but avoid doing the deeper work themselves.
Harmony explains that spiritual growth isn't only about love and light — it also requires shadow work and addressing deeper emotional patterns.
Harmony: "We want to be the teacher or the healer, but doing our own deeper work is often the uncomfortable part."
Simple Ways to Regulate Your Nervous System When you feel overwhelmed or frozen, the key is learning how to bring your body back into a regulated state.
Harmony shares several simple techniques that can help regulate your nervous system in the moment:
Slow breathing Lengthening the exhale Humming or singing Gentle movement Pausing to feel emotions in the body These practices bring awareness back to the body and help calm the nervous system.
Harmony: "Breath is one of the number one keys for regulating your nervous system and bringing you into the present moment."
Creating Boundaries as a Spiritual Entrepreneur Boundaries are essential for building a sustainable business.
Harmony emphasizes that one of the most important steps is identifying your priorities and scheduling time for yourself before filling your calendar with obligations.
Many entrepreneurs prioritize clients, business tasks, and responsibilities while neglecting their own well-being.
Harmony: "Schedule yourself first."
Rest Is Not Laziness — It's Productive
Another important reminder in this episode is that rest is a crucial part of productivity.
Sometimes the most effective solution during overwhelm is simply to pause, step away from work, and allow the body to reset.
Harmony shares that even a short break or a 20-minute rest can help restore clarity and energy.
Harmony: "Resting is productive."
Finding Your Own Path as an Entrepreneur One of the most empowering messages from this conversation is that there is no single "correct" routine for success.
Many entrepreneurs try to copy the habits, routines, and productivity systems of others, even when those approaches don't actually support their lifestyle or energy.
Harmony encourages entrepreneurs to experiment and find what truly works for them.
Harmony: "Find your own path and what really works for you."
Growing your business does not require constant hustle, exhaustion, or sacrificing your well-being.
By learning to regulate your nervous system, creating supportive boundaries, and building a business aligned with your values, you can scale in a way that feels sustainable and fulfilling.
Content That Converts: The 5 Types of Posts That Turn Followers Into Clients
2026/03/06
If you've been posting consistently — reels, carousels, stories, and emails — but you're still wondering why your content isn't turning into discovery calls or clients, this episode will help you fix that.
Because here's the truth: likes, saves, and comments don't build businesses. Trust does.
In today's episode, I'm sharing what I call the Trust Content Stack — the five types of content that build trust with your audience and turn followers into paying clients.
Most coaches rely on educational tips alone. But in today's world, information is everywhere. People don't invest because you taught them something — they invest because they trust that you can help them get a result.
In this episode, I walk you through the five content types that build trust from different angles, and how to rotate them so your audience naturally moves from curious follower to ready-to-work-with-you client.
If you're ready to stop posting random tips and start creating content that actually converts, this episode is for you.

Why Educational Content Alone Doesn't Convert So many coaches are posting helpful tips, but then wondering why they're not getting discovery calls or new clients.
The issue usually isn't that your content is bad — it's that your content is incomplete.
Trust isn't built with one post. It's built through patterns of content that help your audience feel understood, supported, and confident that you can help them.
If you're posting tips and you're not converting, it doesn't mean your content's bad. It usually means your content is incomplete… trust is built through patterns.
Authority Content: Showing You Know What You're Talking About Authority content proves you understand your audience's struggles and have a clear method to help them.
But authority content isn't generic education — it's identifying patterns your audience keeps missing.
Instead of sharing broad information, authority content diagnoses the real problem and introduces your approach to solving it.
Authority content is… I see this pattern all the time, and here's what you need to do instead.
Proof Content: Showing That Your Method Works People don't buy because they believe your information.
They buy because they believe in your results.
Proof content builds trust by showing outcomes — through client wins, case studies, testimonials, or your own transformation.
People don't buy because they believe in your information. They buy because they believe in your outcome.
Belief Content: What You Stand For Belief content is where you share what you stand for — and what you don't.
This is the type of content that makes the right people say:
"Oh my gosh, someone finally said it."
Belief content positions you as a leader instead of just another coach sharing tips.
Belief content is the content that makes people say… 'Oh my God, somebody finally said it.'
Objection Content: Addressing Why People Don't Buy Even people who like and trust you will still have objections before they invest.
Common objections include:
I don't have time I can't afford it I've tried everything before What if it doesn't work for me? Objection content addresses these concerns before they become a no.
Objection content is where you address these before they become a no.
Invitation Content: Clearly Asking People to Take the Next Step This is where many coaches drop the ball.
They share helpful content all week but never clearly invite people to work with them.
Invitation content connects your content to your offer and clearly shows people how to move forward.
Invitation content isn't pushy. It's clear… it's confidence… it's direct.
A Simple Weekly Content Strategy Rachel recommends rotating these five types of posts throughout the week so your audience constantly builds trust.
Example structure:
Monday — Authority content
Tuesday — Proof content
Wednesday — Belief content
Thursday — Objection content
Friday — Invitation content
This keeps your audience warming up to your offer even when you're not launching.
Your audience needs repetition… you're not looking for new constant ideas, you're looking for new angles on the same core problems.
The Biggest Content Mistake Coaches Make The biggest mistake Rachel sees coaches making is creating content that is:
Too generic Too tip-based Too broad Not connected to their offer If your content isn't building authority, proof, belief, handling objections, or inviting action, it's likely just noise instead of strategy.
I don't want you building a content hobby. I want you building a business.

The Number One Reason You Need a Podcast (And It's Not What You Think)
2026/02/20
With the right support, you can build a business that doesn't disappear overnight. And with the right tools, you can create visibility that actually compounds. Your mindset, your energy, the way you show up online, and the platforms you build on all affect how your business grows. So it's time to stop relying on rented land and start building something you truly own.
In today's episode, I'm sharing the number one reason you need a podcast — and it's not because podcasts are trendy or because everyone seems to have one. It's because ownership changes everything. I'm breaking down why social media alone is unstable, how podcasting builds authority and trust, and how to create an ecosystem that supports your income long-term.
If you're in the wellness space, trust is everything.
Health is personal.
When someone listens to you for 20, 30, or 45 minutes, they hear your voice. They hear your certainty. They hear your stories. They hear how you explain things.
They begin to feel like they know you.
A Reel might get someone to follow you.
A podcast makes them feel safe enough to hire you.
And safety is what converts.
Podcasting also shifts you out of the hamster wheel.
One episode can become:
• Email content
• Show notes
• A blog post
• YouTube long-form
• Short-form clips
• SEO traffic
It becomes infrastructure.
Not just content.
Instead of constantly chasing visibility, you start building it.
This is about creating an ecosystem.
Podcast → Authority and long-form trust
Email list → Direct relationship
Offer → Transformation and revenue
Social media → Discovery and traffic
Social media is the highway sign.
Your podcast is the home.
And when you build the home, you stop panicking every time an app changes.
So here's the real question:
If social media disappeared tomorrow, would your business survive?
If that question feels uncomfortable, that's your sign.
It's time to build something you own.

The Hidden Physiology of Burnout with Elizabeth Gaines
2026/02/12
Burnout isn't just mental.
It's not laziness.
It's not a mindset problem.
It's physiological.
In this episode, I sit down with Elizabeth Gaines, Director of Education at Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) and a Functional Wellness Practitioner specializing in burnout recovery.
Before stepping into the functional health space, Elizabeth spent over a decade working in nonprofit trauma recovery, supporting victims of domestic minor sex trafficking. The relentless pace, emotional intensity, and lack of boundaries eventually led her into full-blown burnout and chronic fatigue.
When conventional medicine dismissed her symptoms as "normal" or emotional, she turned to functional lab testing. Through FDN's data-driven approach, she uncovered hidden dysfunction, rebuilt her health, and now trains practitioners around the world to do the same.
In this conversation, we unpack the hidden physiology of burnout — what's really happening inside your body when you can't "push through" anymore.
What You'll Learn in This Episode

Burnout isn't your fault — but healing it is your responsibility, and this episode will show you where to begin.
Stop Saying "I Help Women" (Why It's Costing You Clients)
2026/02/06
This episode might sting a little—but it's exactly what you need to hear if your content isn't converting.
In today's episode, I break down why saying "I help women" is one of the biggest mistakes coaches make in their messaging—and how that single phrase is quietly costing you clients, clarity, and confidence in your offers.
This isn't about being lazy as a human. It's about playing it safe in your marketing because specificity feels scary. And I'm here to tell you the truth: vague messaging doesn't feel safe to your buyer—it feels unclear. And people don't buy when they're confused.
If you want warmer DMs, clearer content, and offers that actually make sense, this episode will help you fix your messaging fast.
1. Why "I Help Women" Is Lazy Marketing (And Why Coaches Use It) When you say "I help women," what your audience actually hears is: I help everyone. And when you help everyone, no one knows if you mean them.
Most coaches do this because they're afraid to:
Pick the wrong niche Exclude people Be judged Commit to something specific Generic feels safe—but it kills clarity.
2. The Market Pays Specialists, Not Generalists Specialists aren't paid more because they're smarter.
They're paid more because they're easier to trust.
Different women = different problems = different language, offers, outcomes, and content.
When you lump them all together, your audience is forced to guess—and people don't buy when they're guessing.
3. Stop Marketing the Category—Start Marketing the Moment "I help women with hormones" is still too broad.
Hormones could mean:
PCOS Fertility Perimenopause Menopause Thyroid Cortisol Estrogen dominance The niche isn't the category.
The niche is the moment someone is living in right now.
4. The Sentence That Changes Everything Instead of:
"I help women"
Use this formula:
I help [specific person] who is struggling with [specific problem] get [specific result] without [thing they've already tried or hate].
This is what makes someone say: Oh my God, that's me.
5. Why Specific Messaging Is Magnetic (Not Limiting) Specific messaging doesn't push people away.
It pulls the right people in.
Your content should feel like a mirror—not a motivational poster.
If someone says, "That's kind of me," you lose.
If they say, "That is me," you win.
6. Pick One Lane (Without Making It Permanent) You are not marrying your niche—you're dating it.
Pick one lane for 90 days:
One life stage One main problem One desired outcome Build content.
Create one offer.
Get feedback.
Then adjust.
Clarity comes from action—not overthinking.
Chronic Stress, Mental Load, Lost Productivity with Dr. Shivani Gupta
2026/01/30
If you're a health-focused entrepreneur who hustles hard but feels inflamed, exhausted, wired-but-tired, or out of rhythm with your body, this episode is for you.
In this conversation, I sit down with Dr. Shivani Gupta to explore how chronic stress, circadian rhythm disruption, and nervous system overload are quietly driving inflammation, burnout, gut issues, hormone imbalance, and immune dysfunction—especially in high-achieving women.
We talk about Ayurveda as a practical, modern lifestyle framework, not a trend, and how understanding your elemental design (dosha) can help you work with your biology instead of constantly fighting it. This episode is a grounding reminder that you can still be ambitious—and healthy—at the same time.
What You'll Learn in This Episode
1. Why Stress Creates Inflammation (Even If You Eat "Healthy")
Chronic mental and emotional stress keeps the nervous system locked in fight-or-flight, which directly fuels physical inflammation and chronic disease.
We talk about why you can't live in hustle mode 24/7 without eventually draining your reserves—and how burnout is often the body's last signal to slow down.
2. Circadian Rhythm and Seasonal Hustle
Not every season of life is meant for full throttle.
We discuss how circadian rhythm and elemental design teach us when to push—and when to rest—so we don't burn out the very bodies we rely on to build our businesses.
3. Ayurveda 101: Understanding Your Elemental Design
Dr. Shivani breaks down the three Ayurvedic constitutions in a modern, relatable way:
Vata (air + ether): creative, fast-moving, prone to anxiety, dryness, insomnia Pitta (fire + water): driven, focused, prone to irritability, inflammation, overheating Kapha (earth + water): steady, nurturing, prone to sluggish metabolism, stagnation
Knowing your type helps you eat, work, rest, and self-regulate more effectively—especially as an entrepreneur.
4. Food as Grounding, Not Restriction
We talk about why:
Vata types often need more carbs and healthy fats, not less Pitta types need cooling foods to calm inflammation Kapha types thrive with movement and warm, easy-to-digest meals
This conversation reframes food as nourishment and regulation—not control.
5. Perimenopause, Menopause & Hormonal Shifts
We dive into how Ayurveda supports women through hormone changes by focusing on:
Sleep quality Gut health Stress regulation Circadian rhythm alignment Herbal and lifestyle support
Rather than fearing these transitions, we talk about how to move through them with more resilience and self-trust.
Why Your Content Isn't Converting (And the 15-Minute Fix)
2026/01/23
If you've been posting consistently, showing up on reels, writing captions, creating carousels—and still not getting DMs, inquiries, or booked calls—this episode is for you.
In today's episode, I break down the real reason your content isn't converting, and spoiler alert: it's not the algorithm, and it's not because you're bad at what you do. Most of the time, your content is doing one job—education—but not the job it actually needs to do, which is help someone make a decision.
This is a practical, no-fluff, open-your-notes-app-and-do-this-with-me episode. And yes, the fix really does take about 15 minutes.
What You'll Learn in This Episode 1. Why Educational Content Alone Doesn't Convert Educational content is valuable—but it's incomplete.
If your posts are getting likes, saves, and "this is so helpful" comments but no action, it's because education without direction turns into entertainment.
People don't buy information.
They buy relief, clarity, and transformation.
2. The Two Silent Questions Every Buyer Is Asking If your content doesn't answer these, the scroll continues:
Is this for me?
What do I do next?
Good content that doesn't answer both questions won't convert—no matter how helpful it is.
3. The Real Problem: Your Content Is Doing the Wrong Job Most coaches are trained to:
Give value
Educate
Teach
But value without clarity becomes passive consumption.
Your content must help someone see themselves, name the problem, and take the next step.
4. The 3 Conversion Triggers Every Post Needs I walk you through the three things your content must include to convert:
1. A specific person
If you speak to everyone, no one feels seen.
2. A specific problem
Fluffy content doesn't create urgency.
3. A specific next step
Dead ends don't convert.
Miss even one of these, and your content stalls.
5. The 15-Minute Content Fix (Step by Step) Step 1: The WHO Line
Start your post by calling out exactly who it's for.
Specific beats clever. Always.
Step 2: The Pain → Outcome Bridge
Name what's hurting them and what life looks like on the other side.
This is where urgency is created.
Step 3: One Clear CTA
One post.
One next step.
No guessing.
Clarity converts—not pressure.
6. Why This Isn't "Salesy" (It's Leadership) If someone is struggling and you have a solution, telling them what to do next isn't selling—it's serving.
Clear is kind.
Confusion is exhausting.
Imposter Syndrome and Burnout with Garrett Wood
2026/01/16
Burnout isn't about working too many hours. And imposter syndrome isn't a confidence problem.
In this episode, I sit down with Garrett Wood, clinical hypnotherapist, executive functioning specialist, and founder of Gnosis Therapy, to unpack what's really happening beneath burnout, high masking, and the boom-and-bust cycle so many high achievers are stuck in.
Garrett works with executives, founders, and entrepreneurs who want high performance without sacrificing their health, relationships, or peace of mind. His work is rooted in biopsychosocial science and nervous-system-first performance, helping leaders build success through their well-being—not at its expense.
Together, we explore imposter syndrome, nervous system debt, misalignment, and why traditional fixes like mindset work, balance, or self-care often don't stick. This conversation offers a radically different—and deeply validating—lens on burnout and sustainable success.
What You'll Learn in This Episode 1. Burnout Is Nervous System Debt (Not Weakness) Burnout happens when stress, pressure, and constant masking outweigh recovery and regulation. Your body has a bio-budget, and when withdrawals exceed deposits, burnout becomes inevitable—no matter how "resilient" you are.
2. Why Imposter Syndrome Persists for High Achievers Garrett explains why imposter syndrome often shows up in capable, high-performing people—and how it's tied to nervous system overload, attachment patterns, and identity pressure rather than lack of skill or experience.
3. The Power of Integration: Subconscious, Conscious & Somatic Lasting change doesn't come from mindset alone. Garrett's work integrates:
Subconscious (clinical hypnotherapy) Conscious (outcome-based coaching) Somatic (body-based regulation) This is why change holds—even under pressure.
4. Burnout as Misalignment, Not Fragility People don't burn out because they're fragile. They burn out when there's a mismatch between their biology, beliefs, and environment.
You can thrive at 80 hours or break at 40—alignment makes the difference.
5. The 7 Drivers of Sustainable Success Garrett walks through the seven areas that determine whether success feels energizing or depleting:
Sensory intelligence Bio-budgets (energy, sleep, recovery) Emotional regulation Core beliefs Attachment patterns Values alignment Executive functioning strengths Burnout always lives in the gap between nervous system needs and environment across these dimensions.
6. Why "Balance" and Self-Care Don't Fix Burnout Many high achievers try downtime, vacations, boundaries, or mindset work—and still feel stuck.
We talk about why these tools fail when they're not paired with nervous system calibration and identity alignment—and how recovery needs to be systematic, not accidental.
Key Takeaways Burnout is nervous system debt, not personal failure Imposter syndrome is often physiological, not psychological Sustainable success is built through well-being, not sacrifice Alignment matters more than hours worked High performance can feel lighter, calmer, and more fulfilling Connect with Garrett Wood Website: https://www.gnosistherapy.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gnosistherapy/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gnosistherapy/
The 7-Step Blueprint to Reverse Chronic Illness Naturally with Darren Schmidt
2026/01/09
If you or your clients are struggling with chronic symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, hormone imbalances, inflammation, or unexplained health issues, this episode is a must-listen.
In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Darren Schmidt, a holistic doctor and the founder of the Nutritional Healing Center of Ann Arbor, the nation's largest non-insurance nutrition clinic. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Schmidt has helped tens of thousands of people reverse chronic illness using nutrition, detoxification, and lifestyle-based strategies.
After surviving multiple toxic exposures himself, Dr. Schmidt went on to develop MVX Plus, a groundbreaking blood test designed to identify health vulnerabilities years before symptoms appear. Together, we dive deep into root-cause healing, cellular health, toxicity, mold exposure, malnutrition, mitochondrial dysfunction, and his 7-Step Blueprint to Optimal Health, which empowers people to achieve lasting wellness naturally—without chasing symptoms.
What You'll Learn in This Episode 1. Why Chronic Illness Is Increasing Dr. Schmidt explains how modern life is driving chronic disease through:
Ultra-processed, low-protein food High-calorie malnutrition Mold exposure in homes Plastics and environmental toxins "Unlucky exposures" like gas leaks and infections I also explore why lifestyle changes alone aren't always enough—and why hidden toxins can derail even the healthiest routines.
2. The MVX Test: Measuring Longevity at the Cellular Level Dr. Schmidt introduces the MVX (Metabolic Vulnerability Index) blood test, a new and affordable tool that measures cellular function and predicts mortality risk over the next five years.
3. Root Cause Healing vs. Symptom Chasing Instead of addressing endless symptoms, we talk about why focusing on the root cause allows symptoms to resolve naturally.
Dr. Schmidt shares powerful patient examples showing how small shifts in diet, supplements, or environmental exposures dramatically change MVX scores and overall health.
4. Mold, Gas Leaks & "Unlucky Exposures" Dr. Schmidt opens up about his personal health crisis involving mold exposure and a year-long gas leak—and how simply removing the exposure significantly reduced his disease risk.
This part of the conversation highlights why environmental factors must always be considered in chronic illness recovery.
5. The 7-Step Blueprint to Optimal Health Dr. Schmidt walks me through his foundational system for healing chronic disease.
6. Chronic Disease & Hormone Imbalance Rather than immediately supplementing hormones, Dr. Schmidt explains his approach of supporting the organs that produce hormones—allowing balance to return naturally.
This perspective is especially valuable for hormone and wellness coaches working with complex or chronic cases.
7. Protein, Nutrition & Kids' Health We also discuss why protein is the most important macronutrient for:
Satiety Cellular repair Reducing junk food cravings Supporting growth and development Dr. Schmidt explains how prioritizing protein—especially meat—can help both adults and children move away from ultra-processed foods.
Why January Is a Great Time to Launch
2025/12/19
In this solo episode of the Healthy Hustle Podcast, I'm breaking down the truth about January launches. If you've ever asked, "Should I wait until February?" or "Did I miss my chance if I didn't launch Jan 1st?" — this episode is for you.
January often gets a bad reputation in the coaching world because people confuse energy with attention. The truth? January is a powerful time to launch if you do it right—not rushed, not reactive, but with clarity and calm structure.
I'll walk you through the ideal timeline, what kind of programs work best, how to create a no-pressure open cart, and how February can be your best enrollment month if you plant the right seeds.
Key Takeaways Why January 1–7 is too chaotic for launches (and what to do instead) The psychology behind motivation vs. attention in January Ideal launch timeline: January 8–11 (warm-up), January 15–28 (open cart) The best programs to promote in January: gut, hormone, metabolism resets How to use early bird pricing to build urgency without pressure Why February doesn't replace January—it builds on it The mindset shift from "selling" to "inviting" How to map your launch around support, simplicity, and trust
Overcoming Binge and Emotional Eating with Amber Romaniuk
2025/12/12
In this deeply honest and powerful conversation, Rachel sits down with Amber Romaniuk, emotional eating and binge eating expert, to unpack the real reasons women struggle with food, weight, hormones, digestion, and self-worth.
This episode goes far beyond surface-level food advice. Together, Rachel and Amber explore how trauma, nervous system dysregulation, inner-child wounds, hormones, and gut health all intersect with binge and emotional eating—and what true healing actually looks like.
If you've ever felt out of control around food, stuck in shame, or frustrated that "doing all the right things" still isn't working, this episode will make you feel seen—and supported.
What You'll Learn in This Episode
1. How Binge & Emotional Eating Actually Begin
Amber shares her personal story—from early body shame and dieting to bingeing, purging, and hitting rock bottom—and how denial kept the cycle alive until she was forced to face the truth.
You'll hear why binge eating is not about willpower, discipline, or food choices.
2. Why Food Becomes a Coping Mechanism
Food often becomes a way to:
Numb emotional pain Soothe stress Feel comfort and safety Escape uncomfortable emotions
Amber explains how dopamine, restriction, perfectionism, and societal conditioning all reinforce binge cycles—even with "healthy" foods.
3. The Nervous System Connection
Chronic stress keeps the body stuck in fight-or-flight, making it nearly impossible to digest food properly, regulate appetite, or process emotions.
You'll learn why:
Discomfort feels threatening to the nervous system Familiar patterns (even painful ones) feel "safe" Healing requires patience, rewiring, and self-compassion
4. Trauma, Inner Child Wounds & Food
Amber breaks down how both big and small traumas—bullying, dieting as a child, parental criticism, abuse, breakups, or feeling unsafe—can deeply impact body image and eating behaviors.
This episode highlights why inner-child work is a critical part of healing emotional eating.
5. How Binge Eating Impacts Digestion & Gut Health
You'll learn how binge eating and chronic stress can lead to:
Poor digestion and nutrient absorption Low stomach acid Gut inflammation and leaky gut Brain fog, fatigue, bloating, and cravings Mood imbalances tied to inflammation
6. Hormones, Weight & Emotional Eating
Amber explains how emotional eating affects:
Cortisol (stress hormone) Thyroid function Progesterone & estrogen balance Sleep, mood, fertility, and weight regulation
You'll hear why low progesterone can drive cravings, insomnia, anxiety, PMDD, and emotional disconnection—and why hormone testing is non-negotiable in healing.
7. The First Steps Toward Healing
Amber outlines practical, compassionate steps you can begin now:
Seeking safe, nonjudgmental support Admitting there's a problem without shame Identifying emotional vs. physical hunger Understanding your binge triggers Eating regularly and mindfully Supporting basic needs (sleep, hydration, protein) Learning new ways to cope with stress
