ഗൗതം ജയസൂര്യ - സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് 4:46 മുതൽ.   കേരളയുവത്വം നാടവിടുന്നുണ്ടോ? എങ്കിൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ട്? ഉണ്ട്. പക്ഷെ എന്തിനു എന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന് ഒരു ലളിതമായ ഉത്തരമില്ല. കേരത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രവാസികളുടെ സഞ്ചാരത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രം ആധുനിക കേരത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രത്തോളം ഉണ്ട്. പണ്ട് സാധാരണ തൊഴിൽ തേടി ആണ് ഈ പോക്കെങ്കിൽ എപ്പോൾ അതിനൂതനവും  സാങ്കേതികമായ തൊഴിലുകൾ തേടിയാണ് ഈ പോക്ക്. മുമ്പ് സാമ്പത്തികമായ മെച്ചം തേടി മാത്രം ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഇന്ന് മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ജീവിതശൈലി കൂടെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചാണ് ഈ മാറ്റം. ആഗോളവത്ക്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട നമ്മുടെ ഈ ലോകത്തു വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, ജോലി എന്നിവ തേടിയുള്ള യാത്ര കുറെയൊക്കെ സ്വാഭാവികമാണ്. എന്നാൽ കേരളത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഈ ഒരു നാടുവിടൽ ആശങ്ക ഉളവാകുന്ന ഒരു വസ്തുതയാണ്. 2021 ലെ പീരിയോഡിക് ലേബർ ഫോഴ്സ് സർവ്വേ കണക്കുകൾ നോക്കിയാൽ കേരളത്തിലെ തൊഴിലില്ലായ്‌മ നിരക്കുകൾ 15 നും 30 നും ഇടയിലുള്ള ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ 36 ശതമാനത്തിലും അധികമാണ്‌. ഇതിന്റെ ഭീകരാവസ്ഥ മനസ്സിലാകുന്നത് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മൊത്തം തൊഴിലില്ലായ്‌മ നിരക്ക് 17 ശതമാനം എന്നതാണ്. സ്വാഭിവകമായി ഇത് വഴി തെളിയിക്കുന്നത് കേരളത്തിന്റെ പുറത്തുള്ള അവസരങ്ങൾ തേടിയുള്ള യാത്രകളാണ്.  എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഇത് സംഭവിക്കുന്നു ? കേരത്തിലെ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ, വളരുന്ന ലോകപരിജ്ഞാനം, അതോടൊപ്പം വളരുന്ന വിജയിക്കാനുള്ള അഭിനിവേശം. കേരളത്തിലെ ഉന്നതവിദ്യാഭാസത്തിനുള്ള പരിമിതികൾ. തൊഴില്‍ അധിഷ്ഠിതമല്ലാത്ത കോഴ്സുകൾ. പരിഷ്കരിക്കാത്ത സിലബസ്, പാഠ്യരീതികൾ പരീക്ഷാരീതികൾ. മികച്ച അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍, ശമ്പളം, പുരോഗമന ചിന്ത ഉൾകൊള്ളുന്ന സമൂഹം, വിനോദകേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ  ഉൾകൊലുന്ന ഒരു മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ജീവിതശൈലി തരുന്ന വിദേശജീവിതം. എല്ലാ തൊഴിലിലും അതിന്റെതായ അന്തസ് ഉണ്ടെന്നു അംഗീ
