When God Seems Silent: St. John of the Cross & Spiritual Dryness
2026/10/22
What do you do when God seems silent—when prayer feels empty, consolation disappears, and you wonder whether He is listening? In this episode of Saints for the Struggle, we turn to St. John of the Cross for lessons in spiritual dryness, perseverance, and loving God beyond our feelings. Imprisoned in Toledo by members of his own religious order, John endured months of isolation and mistreatment. Yet his suffering became the setting for poetry and spiritual insights that continue to help souls seek deeper union with God. This reflection explores his teaching on purification, attachment to spiritual consolation, and the difference between ordinary dryness and the mystical dark night. It also considers unanswered prayer, wounds caused by fellow Catholics, and the quiet fidelity of those who keep choosing Christ through difficult seasons. The absence of consolation is not the absence of God. Prayer does not become worthless because it feels difficult, and faithfulness cannot depend entirely upon emotional rewards. IN THIS EPISODE • St. John of the Cross and St. Teresa of Ávila • The Carmelite reform and John’s imprisonment in Toledo • Spiritual dryness and the dark night of the soul • Active and passive purification • Loving God for His own sake • Perseverance when motivation disappears • Unanswered prayer and trust in God • Remaining faithful after betrayal or injustice • Discernment, spiritual direction, and seeking appropriate help • Practical steps when prayer feels empty • Christ’s Passion and our hope of eternal life Not every difficult season is a mystical dark night. This episode distinguishes spiritual purification from ordinary distractions, exhaustion, and psychological suffering, while encouraging prudent guidance when needed. 00:00 What Do You Do When God Seems Silent? 00:34 When Others Feel Peace—and You Feel Nothing 01:18 “What If God Has Abandoned Me?” 01:51 A Carmelite Prisoner in Toledo 02:31 The Absence of Consolation Is Not the Absence of God 02:48 John’s Early Life and Vocation 03:27 St. Teresa of Ávila and the Carmelite Reform 04:16 Imprisoned by His Own Religious Brothers 04:48 When the Wound Comes from Within the Church 05:40 Nine Months of Confinement 06:54 Poetry and Spiritual Freedom Amid Suffering 07:20 What the Dark Night of the Soul Means 07:58 Active and Passive Purification 08:27 Faith Cannot Depend Entirely on Feelings 09:01 Loving the Giver Beyond His Gifts 09:47 Marriage as an Example of Faithful Love 11:17 When Daily Prayer Feels Fruitless 12:00 Why Dry Prayer Still Matters 12:32 An Athlete’s Lesson in Perseverance 13:31 The Pain of Unanswered Prayer 14:19 God’s Promises and Our Expectations 15:04 Betrayal, Injustice, and Remaining with Christ 16:15 Acknowledging Wrongdoing Without Losing the Faith 16:39 Suffering Does Not Have to Become Your Identity 17:48 Trusting God When We Cannot Understand 19:02 Why We Should Not Romanticize Spiritual Darkness 19:56 Discernment and Spiritual Direction 20:31 When the Initial Excitement of Faith Fades 21:44 “Faithfulness Begins Where Feelings End” 22:52 Augustine and John: Surrender and Perseverance 23:59 Five Practical Steps When Prayer Feels Empty 25:14 John’s Escape and Lasting Spiritual Legacy 26:18 When Suffering Continues 27:18 Eternal Hope and the Mystery of Good Friday 28:22 Three Lessons to Remember 29:35 The Quiet Fidelity of Someone Still Praying 30:42 Encouragement for the Weary Soul 31:25 Remaining Faithful Without Extraordinary Feelings 31:49 “Lord, I Believe in You—and I Am Still Here” 32:14 Darkness Does Not Have the Final Word If prayer has felt difficult lately, choose one manageable act of fidelity today: a sincere prayer, an act of charity, or the faithful fulfillment of a duty. You Want God—but You Still Want That Sin | St. Augustine
2026/10/16
St. Augustine knew what it meant to want holiness while remaining attached to sin. In this episode of Saints for the Struggle, Steve Cunningham explores Augustine’s conversion and the dangerous habit of telling God, “Not yet.” Drawing on Augustine’s Confessions, this reflection follows his search for truth, his encounter with St. Ambrose, the persistent prayers of St. Monica, and the decisive moment in the garden when he heard, “Take and read.” His story speaks directly to anyone struggling with recurring sins, divided desires, spiritual procrastination, or the fear of surrendering an old way of life. Knowing Catholic teaching is not the same as living it. We can recognize what needs to change and still delay confession, prayer, forgiveness, or a difficult decision. Augustine’s life reminds us that deeply rooted habits are never stronger than God’s grace—and that grace calls for our cooperation. This episode considers practical ways to resist temptation, remove occasions of sin, seek appropriate help, and return to Christ after falling. It also distinguishes presumption from despair: tomorrow’s confession is never permission for today’s deliberate sin, and yesterday’s failure is never a reason to abandon hope. Begin today with three concrete steps: • Identify the one thing you keep refusing to surrender. • Remove one obstacle that keeps drawing you back. • Ask God for the grace to want what he wants. You do not have to solve every problem today. You can begin. 00:00 Knowing What Is Right—and Still Delaying 01:26 Augustine’s Struggle: “Not Yet” 02:15 His Early Life and St. Monica 03:13 Knowing the Faith vs. Surrendering to Christ 04:03 How Repeated Choices Become Binding Habits 05:47 God’s Grace Is Greater Than Your Habits 05:58 Searching for Truth and Encountering St. Ambrose 07:26 The Divided Will: Wanting God and Clinging to Sin 09:00 Wanting Results Without Accepting the Sacrifice 10:44 Cooperating with Grace 11:25 St. Monica’s Persistent Prayers 12:56 When Old Sins Feel Like Old Friends 14:13 “Why Not Now?” Confronting Spiritual Delay 15:48 The Garden: “Take and Read” 16:55 Romans 13 and Augustine’s Surrender 17:51 Baptism and a Lifetime of Growth 19:00 Applying Augustine’s Story to Our Own Habits 20:31 Making Concrete Changes 20:57 Avoiding Occasions of Sin 21:58 Returning After Failure: Presumption and Despair 23:14 God Knows Your Weakness—Begin Fighting 24:25 Mercy Can Bring Good Out of Our Failures 25:17 Our Restless Hearts 25:54 What Is Your “Not Yet”? 26:55 Step One: Identify What Needs to Change 27:36 Step Two: Remove One Obstacle 28:22 Step Three: Ask for the Grace to Want God’s Will 29:41 What Might God Accomplish Through Your Conversion? 30:59 The Cross, Grace, and Lasting Transformation 31:55 Time Is a Gift: Do Not Postpone Repentance 32:40 You Can Begin Today 34:13 Stop Negotiating and Take the Next Step 35:03 St. Augustine, Pray for Us St. Augustine of Hippo, pray for us. 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 ✝️ SUPPORT THE MISSION 🙏 Donate https://sensusfidelium.com/donate-support/ 📬 Free Catholic Newsletter https://sensusfidelium.com/newsletter/ 📰 Read on Substack https://sensusfidelium.substack.com/ ──────────────────── 📺 WATCH & READ 📺 Sensus Fidelium App https://sensusfidelium.tv/ 📚 Sensus Fidelium Press https://sensusfideliumpress.com/ 👕 Official Merchandise https://sensusfidelium.com/merchandise/ ──────────────────── 🤝 PARTNER WITH US 📣 Advertise on Sensus Fidelium https://sensusfidelium.com/advertise-with-sensus-fidelium/ 🎤 Invite Steve Cunningham to Speak https://sensusfidelium.com/speaking/ ⛪ Parish Formation & Consultation https://sensusfidelium.com/for-parishes/ ──────────────────── 🌎 CATHOLIC COMMUNITY ✝️ Trusted Catholic Businesses https://sensusfidelium.com/catholic-businesses/ 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 #StAugustine #SaintsForTheStruggle #CatholicConversion #Repentance #GodsGrace #CatholicFaith #SensusFidelium

Get Back Up: Saint Peter and the Fight After Failure
2026/09/24
Have you committed the very sin you promised God you would never commit again? Have shame, discouragement or repeated failure made you wonder whether confession and another attempt are even worthwhile? Saint Peter knows that struggle. Peter sincerely loved Jesus Christ and confidently promised that he would never abandon Him. Within hours, however, Peter fell asleep instead of praying, followed Christ from a distance and denied Him three times. When the c**k crowed and the Lord looked at him, Peter went outside and wept bitterly. But Peter’s failure was not his final chapter. This episode of Saints for the Struggle examines the spiritual battle that begins after we fall. Before sin, the devil tells us it is not serious. Afterward, the same liar tells us that our sin is too serious to be forgiven. The first temptation leads us into sin; the second tries to keep us down through shame and despair. Unlike Judas, Peter returned to Christ. Beside another charcoal fire after the Resurrection, Jesus touched Peter’s wound—not to humiliate him, but to heal him. Three denials were answered by three professions of love, and the fallen apostle received his mission: “Feed My sheep.” This episode offers practical steps for beginning again: tell the truth, distinguish repentance from shame, return to confession, change the circumstances that lead to sin and get back up immediately. Christian perseverance does not mean never hitting the canvas. It means refusing to make the canvas your home. If you failed last night, get up. If you failed this morning, get up. Return to Christ, confession, prayer and the fight. Your failure may receive a chapter in your life—but it does not receive the final page. Saint Peter, pray for us! 00:00 Have you fallen into the same sin again? 00:49 The dangerous voice after failure 01:17 Saint Peter knew the shame of failure 01:46 Peter loved Christ—but misunderstood himself 02:30 “I will never deny You” 02:57 The danger of trusting our own strength 03:33 How quickly confidence can collapse 04:07 Peter falls asleep in Gethsemane 04:30 “Watch and pray” 04:57 Good intentions are not enough 05:23 Why holiness remains difficult 05:58 Prayer, discipline and spiritual resistance 06:42 Peter follows Jesus from a distance 07:01 Peter denies Christ three times 07:12 Jesus turns and looks at Peter 07:46 Peter goes out and weeps bitterly 08:16 Don’t waste the pain of repentance 08:33 Peter and Judas: two responses to failure 08:57 The devil changes his argument 09:24 The second temptation after sin 09:39 Fighting after failure 10:03 Can you get back up? 10:33 Go to confession again 11:03 Your sin is not greater than God’s mercy 11:24 Mercy is not permission to stop fighting 11:40 Change what leads you into sin 12:36 Jesus meets Peter after the Resurrection 12:55 The two charcoal fires 13:21 Three denials and three professions of love 13:48 Christ heals Peter’s wound 13:53 “Feed My sheep” 14:02 God still has a mission for you 14:40 Failure prepared Peter to shepherd sinners 15:17 The person who needed to die 15:55 From denial to public witness 16:22 Peter eventually gives his life for Christ 16:35 Grace transformed the coward into a martyr 16:56 Holiness requires long-term perseverance 17:32 “If it were easy, everyone would do it” 17:49 Thousands of decisions and recoveries 18:00 Five steps after you fall 18:23 Run toward Christ and confession 18:41 Change the conditions of the fight 18:54 Get back up immediately 19:16 When you hear the c**k crow 19:40 Christ knew Peter would fall 20:02 The failure and the mercy were real 20:18 Will you get back up? 20:50 Return to Christ and the fight 21:14 Peter wasn’t finished—and neither are you 21:33 Saint Peter, pray for us
When Someone You Love Leaves the Faith | St. Monica’s Answer
2026/09/17
What should you do when someone you love abandons the Catholic faith? The story of St. Monica and St. Augustine offers hope—and a difficult but essential lesson: you cannot force another person to convert, but you can pray, sacrifice, love faithfully, and entrust that soul to God. St. Monica watched her brilliant son reject Christianity, pursue worldly ambition and sexual pleasure, embrace Manichaeism, and resist her efforts to bring him home. Yet she refused to abandon him. Through years of hidden prayer, tears, fasting, penance, and patient love, Monica learned to surrender Augustine to divine providence. What looked like failure was actually part of God’s plan. When Augustine sailed away from his mother, Monica could see only the departing ship. She could not yet see St. Ambrose waiting in Milan, Augustine’s conversion in the garden, his baptism at Easter, or the future bishop, Doctor of the Church, and saint he would become. This reflection explores: • How to pray for a fallen-away Catholic • Why conversion cannot be forced through arguments • What St. Monica teaches parents and families • The value of fasting, sacrifice, penance, and reparation • Why God may transform the person who is praying • When helping becomes rescuing someone from consequences • How Our Lady of Sorrows models faithful, suffering love • Why apparently unanswered prayers are never wasted • How Augustine finally surrendered to God’s grace If someone you love is far from God, do not lose hope. Keep praying. Keep sacrificing. Keep loving. Keep becoming holy—and surrender the timetable to God. 🙏 Who is the “Augustine” in your life? You may share only a first name or intention in the comments so that we can pray with you. St. Monica, pray for us. St. Augustine, pray for us. 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 ✝️ SUPPORT THE MISSION 🙏 Donate https://sensusfidelium.com/donate-support/ 📬 Free Catholic Newsletter https://sensusfidelium.com/newsletter/ 📰 Read on Substack https://sensusfidelium.substack.com/ ──────────────────── 📺 WATCH & READ 📺 Sensus Fidelium App https://sensusfidelium.tv/ 📚 Sensus Fidelium Press https://sensusfideliumpress.com/ 👕 Official Merchandise https://sensusfidelium.com/merchandise/ ──────────────────── 🤝 PARTNER WITH US 📣 Advertise on Sensus Fidelium https://sensusfidelium.com/advertise-with-sensus-fidelium/ 🎤 Invite Steve Cunningham to Speak https://sensusfidelium.com/speaking/ ⛪ Parish Formation & Consultation https://sensusfidelium.com/for-parishes/ ──────────────────── 🌎 CATHOLIC COMMUNITY ✝️ Trusted Catholic Businesses https://sensusfidelium.com/catholic-businesses/ 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴

When You Can’t Tell Yourself No | St. Mary of Egypt
2026/09/09
What controls you—your phone, appetite, anger, lust, comfort, fear or desire for approval? St. Mary of Egypt discovered that if we cannot tell our desires no, we are not truly free. After years dominated by sexual passion, Mary traveled to Jerusalem for sinful motives. At the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, an invisible force prevented her from entering to venerate the Holy Cross. She finally recognized that the obstacle was not the doorway but the life she refused to surrender.Mary begged the Mother of God for help, entered the church, venerated the Cross and crossed the Jordan into the desert. But conversion did not instantly erase her desires. For 17 years, memories and temptations from her former life attacked her.Her struggle reveals a hopeful truth: God’s forgiveness may be immediate, while the reordering of the heart can take years. Recurring temptation does not necessarily mean conversion has failed. Sometimes it means the battle has finally begun. The modern world defines freedom as doing whatever we want. Christian freedom is more demanding: the ability to desire something and still choose what is good.Mary’s life gives us three practical steps:Identify what you cannot tell yourself no to.Create some desert through silence, fasting and voluntary self-denial.Never quit merely because the temptation returns.Being tempted is not the same as consenting. Your holiness is revealed in what you do when desire issues its command.Your past may form part of your testimony, but it does not possess naming rights over your future. Grace transformed Mary from a slave of passion into one of Christianity’s greatest witnesses of repentance.St. Mary of Egypt, pray for us! 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴✝️ SUPPORT THE MISSION🙏 Donatehttps://sensusfidelium.com/donate-support/📬 Free Catholic Newsletterhttps://sensusfidelium.com/newsletter/📰 Read on Substackhttps://sensusfidelium.substack.com/────────────────────📺 WATCH & READ📺 Sensus Fidelium Apphttps://sensusfidelium.tv/📚 Sensus Fidelium Presshttps://sensusfideliumpress.com/👕 Official Merchandisehttps://sensusfidelium.com/merchandise/────────────────────🤝 PARTNER WITH US📣 Advertise on Sensus Fideliumhttps://sensusfidelium.com/advertise-with-sensus-fidelium/🎤 Invite Steve Cunningham to Speakhttps://sensusfidelium.com/speaking/⛪ Parish Formation & Consultationhttps://sensusfidelium.com/for-parishes/────────────────────🌎 CATHOLIC COMMUNITY✝️ Trusted Catholic Businesseshttps://sensusfidelium.com/catholic-businesses/🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
Marriage Is Making You a Saint | Blessed Anna Maria Taigi
2026/09/06
What do you do when your spouse is difficult to love?Blessed Anna Maria Taigi became a wife, mother, mystic, and eventually a blessed of the Catholic Church—but she did not become holy by escaping family life. She became holy inside it.Her husband, Domenico, could be rough, demanding, and quick-tempered. Anna Maria had faults of her own. Marriage became one of the places where grace worked on both of them. This episode of Saints for the Struggle looks at the thousand ordinary battles of married life: arguments, resentment, money problems, exhaustion, children, criticism, unmet expectations, and the temptation to think, “If my spouse would just change, I could finally have peace.”But Christian marriage asks a harder question:What is God asking of me right now?Patience? Silence? An apology? Forgiveness? Speaking firmly without anger? This does NOT mean tolerating abuse or serious wrongdoing. Legitimate boundaries, counsel, and protection may be necessary. But ordinary married life requires tremendous mercy. Pray for your spouse more than you criticize them. Stop keeping score. Let minor irritations die. And remember:Your spouse is not your spiritual project. You are not the Holy Ghost.Maybe marriage isn’t preventing you from becoming holy.Maybe it is revealing exactly what still needs to become holy.Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, pray for us.
The Saint Every Angry Man Needs to Know | St. Moses the Black
2026/09/03
What does St. Moses the Black teach Catholic men about anger, strength, self-control, and becoming the man God created us to be? In Episode 2 of Saints for the Struggle, we enter the Egyptian desert and meet one of Christianity’s most remarkable saints: St. Moses the Black. Before becoming a monk and spiritual father, Moses was a violent robber and leader of a band of thieves. Then he encountered God. But conversion did not mean every old habit disappeared overnight. Conversion can happen in a moment. Character usually doesn’t. Many men know this battle. You go to Confession determined to change, but then your spouse irritates you, your child disobeys, a coworker frustrates you, or someone says the wrong thing—and suddenly the old anger comes rushing back. St. Moses reminds us that having a battle doesn’t mean you’ve lost. Sometimes it means you’ve finally started fighting. His life teaches a different vision of masculine strength: Losing control isn’t strength. Control is strength. A man who can overpower another man is strong. A man who can overpower himself is stronger. We’ll also look at the famous story of Moses and the leaking basket of sand—a reminder to examine our own sins before condemning someone else. Anger may tell us something is wrong, but anger makes a terrible master. Moses did not become weak when he became holy. His strength was transformed. The hands that once took from others eventually carried water for elderly monks. Same strength. Different master. Maybe you’re aggressive. Become aggressive against your sin. Maybe you’re stubborn. Become stubborn about keeping your promises. Maybe you’re competitive. Compete against the man you were yesterday. Your past can explain you. It does not get to define you. When anger rises, remember St. Moses. Look at the sand and ask: Who is the real enemy here? 👇 What has helped you control anger instead of allowing anger to control you? St. Lawrence: The Christian Joy the World Cannot Break
2026/09/02
What can St. Lawrence teach Catholics about suffering, courage, peace, and Christian joy?In 258 AD, during the persecution of Christians in Rome, St. Lawrence knew that martyrdom could be waiting for him. When the authorities demanded the treasures of the Church, Lawrence famously presented them with the poor. And when he was eventually condemned to a brutal death on the gridiron, tradition remembers him responding with extraordinary courage—and even humor. But the lesson of St. Lawrence goes far beyond one famous line.Christian joy is not pretending that suffering doesn't hurt. It isn't optimism, comfort, or having everything go according to plan. It is possessing something that circumstances cannot touch.Your plans can collapse. You can lose money.People can turn against you.Your career can disappear.Your health can fail.Your reputation can be taken from you.Even your life will eventually be taken. But Christ cannot be taken from you. That changes everything. In this episode, we look at St. Lawrence and the Christian understanding of joy as a form of defiance against despair. We also consider the courage of persecuted Catholics and the remarkable story of St. Eustace as reminders that suffering does not get the final word.Three lessons stand out:1. Stop asking circumstances for permission to have peace.2. Learn to laugh at what frightens you.3. Remember what cannot be taken from you.🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴✝️ SUPPORT THE MISSION🙏 Donatehttps://sensusfidelium.com/donate-support/📬 Free Catholic Newsletterhttps://sensusfidelium.com/newsletter/📰 Read on Substackhttps://sensusfidelium.substack.com/────────────────────📺 WATCH & READ📺 Sensus Fidelium Apphttps://sensusfidelium.tv/📚 Sensus Fidelium Presshttps://sensusfideliumpress.com/👕 Official Merchandisehttps://sensusfidelium.com/merchandise/────────────────────🤝 PARTNER WITH US📣 Advertise on Sensus Fideliumhttps://sensusfidelium.com/advertise-with-sensus-fidelium/🎤 Invite Steve Cunningham to Speakhttps://sensusfidelium.com/speaking/⛪ Parish Formation & Consultationhttps://sensusfidelium.com/for-parishes/────────────────────🌎 CATHOLIC COMMUNITY✝️ Trusted Catholic Businesseshttps://sensusfidelium.com/catholic-businesses/🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴#StLawrence #Catholic #CatholicMen #ChristianJoy #CatholicSaints #CatholicFaith #ChristianCourage #CatholicMasculinity #CatholicMartyrs #LivesOfTheSaints #ChristianSuffering #Catholicism #FaithOverFear #PeaceInChrist #StEustace
The Southern Renaissance: Catholicism, Agrarianism & Remembering Who We Are ~ Dr. Alan Harrelson
2026/08/21
Steve Cunningham sits down with Dr. Alan Harrelson of The Pipe Cottage for a wide-ranging conversation on Catholicism, Southern culture, agrarianism, history, faith, family, and the possibility of a new Southern renaissance. Why does the American South still matter? What can Southern agrarianism teach a modern culture dominated by centralization, technology, urbanization, and the loss of local community?Dr. Harrelson discusses his conversion to Catholicism, his South Carolina roots, the influence of M. E. Bradford, Donald Davidson, Clyde Wilson, John Shelton Reed, the Southern Agrarians, Russell Kirk, Chesterton, Belloc, and others who defended the importance of tradition, place, agriculture, self-government, and the “permanent things.”The conversation also explores the Confederacy, slavery, historical memory, states’ rights, centralized government, Catholic social teaching, subsidiarity, Southern literature, the importance of knowing where your people came from, and why younger Southerners increasingly want to rediscover their heritage.Dr. Harrelson also introduces the Bradford Institute and its inaugural gathering at Seabrook Island, South Carolina, featuring scholars devoted to Southern history, literature, culture, and conservative thought.Above everything else, Harrelson emphasizes that faith comes first: history and culture matter because they can help us better understand man, community, creation, and God.Topics: Catholicism • Southern History • Southern Agrarianism • M.E. The Hidden Dangers of Yoga Every Catholic Needs to Know | Linda Carl "Yoga Unveiled"
2026/07/30
Millions of people practice yoga believing it is simply exercise or stretching. But is that really true? In this fascinating interview, Steve Cunningham sits down with Linda Clark, former yoga instructor and author of Yoga Unveiled: My Spiritual Journey from Darkness to Light, to discuss her twenty-year involvement in yoga, Reiki, and New Age spirituality before returning fully to the Catholic faith. Linda explains how her conversion led her to abandon yoga after discovering its deep religious roots within Hindu spirituality. Drawing from years of research, personal experience, and testimony from others, she discusses why Catholics should carefully discern the spiritual origins of practices often presented as harmless exercise. Topics include: • The religious origins of yoga • Why yoga cannot be separated from its spiritual foundation • Kundalini and chakra spirituality • Reiki and New Age practices • "Christian Yoga" examined • The meaning of "AUM," Namaste, Sun Salutations, and other yoga practices • Personal testimony of conversion from New Age spirituality • Safer alternatives for physical fitness • Why Catholics should approach yoga with discernment Whether you currently practice yoga, have family members involved, or simply want to better understand the Church's concerns regarding New Age spirituality, this interview offers an important discussion rooted in one woman's journey back to Christ.
