In this episode, we RANT about the proliferation of male podcasts that encourage unhealthy relationship expectations. You know the ones that make blanket statements about "going 50/50" or "why modern women are the problem." These podcasts offer nothing in the way of helping men understand their needs and how to effectively communicate with the opposite sex. However, we've found some male podcasts you should be listening to if you want to really engage in meaningful conversations about identity and community. Are we over "soca to the world?" In this episode, we RANT about the overused term "soca to the world!" We've heard it many times and artistes pledging to take soca music to the Grammy's, to Coachella, and elsewhere. Is this realistic given the amount of music in the genre? Do we even want to go global or should we gatekeep the genre until we have a clearer definition of what makes a song a "soca" song and encourage more year-round releases to build up the catalog? Then we rave to "Soca Global" by Erphaan Alves.

Are we over Black Excellence? In this episode, we RANT about how rolling back DEI initiatives, refusing to celebrate Black History Month, and the resurgence of talk about not being merited to hold high-level positions makes us wonder if it might be time for some Black mediocrity. Maybe it's time for Black people to relax from being at the forefront of political movements and civil rights fights and show what happens when we don't provide our excellence. Then we RAVE to "Forward" by 2020 Calypso Monarch Terri Lyons.

Are we over being triggered? In this episode, we RANT about how the overwhelming talk of wars, genocides, global politics, and economic uncertainties all over social media has affected us to the point where we are always on edge.
