It's Bob Marley music day, and the band is back together in studio - Tom, Edmundo, Russell and Ted. Daniel Esteve is in studio from Fox2/CW11. Tom was at the STL City SC media session this week with Lutz Pfannenstiel and Diego Gigliani. He asked them both what they learned from the innaugural campaign of the club, and secondly, when Lutz is recruiting new players for the club does he still tell them not to Google St. Louis. Santiago Beltran from Lider Sports Media and the KXOK Spanish Radio broadcasts of STL City SC matches joins the show. Finally, Tom Timmerman (@tomtimm) from STLToday.com joins the show fresh off his trip to Florida for STL City SC training camp.

Bob Marley music day continues as hour two kicks off with Matt Baker from the Flyover Footy podcast calling in to the show to discuss STL City SC Academy playing in the UPSL Championship final, and STL City SC continuing training camp and playing pre-season matches at the Coachella Valley Invitational. Daniel Esteve talks movie theater snacks, covering a much anticipated girls high school basketball game between Incarnate Word and John Burroughs, and finally the 2024 Flyover Classic hockey game between Mizzou Club Hockey & SLU Club Hockey at the Centene outdoor Ice rink. Ted talks Lindsey Horan comments about US soccer fans, WoSo themed podcasts, and NWSL clubs signing some new international players prior to the upcoming 2024 season. Santiago Beltran, fresh from a three week visit to Puerto Rico, joins Tom and Ted in studio. We almost didn't recognize him with a full, jet black beard! Our phone guests were having trouble hearing us in studio, so the conversations were rough and at times comical. Edmundo, who was at home warm and cozy, decided to come in studio to lend another voice when Fox2 and CW11 anchor Jordan Williams had car troubles. Edmundo channels the show's favorite Kiwi, Russell Blythe, as he presents his version of "Scores". Santiago Beltran talks STL City SC, and the concept of playoffs in MLS being a new concept for many of the the clubs key players who had never played in the league. Tom talks more about the Newcastle vs Man City match from Saturday 1/13, which he thought was one of the best regular matches he has seen in quite some time. Ted reports on the 5 hour broadcast of the NWSL college entry draft from Friday night, which was broadcast LIVE on the ION network. ION (part of Scripps Sports) is one of four platforms that will broadcast NWSL matches during the 2024 season. The other three are Paramount/CBS, Prime Video, and ESPN. Today's show was rough until we figured out that our phone guests could not hear us, but provided for lots of laughs and reinforced the "utterly ridiculous nature of the show."
