What to do with the Muppets? It's a question that has stumped Disney for the last ten years. The Sickos come to the rescue with a bunch of pitches, but honestly, it's shameful you even need a pitch. The Muppets are little guys made of felt and when they talk everyone goes, wow, that's real. That's a real person. That's your pitch. Anyway. Enjoy the episode.

The four pillars of modern misery: Anime, Gaming, Posting, and Jobs. They have long been "the premise" of Anime Sickos Podcast, and yet we never talk about them. This episode finally answers why. Turns out, pillars need to be on a foundation to stand up. If all of society erodes beneath them, they fall over! Uh oh!

Whenever the Sickos go on vacation, the next episode is us yapping about going on vacation. Well this time Tom went to Banff in Canada and met a variety of kooky characters and saw any number of funny things. Plus, Joe shares what he's been doing with his new freedom from chronic arm pain: reading the whole fan wiki for FF6 Kefka.

Hello Sicko fans.  Tom was on vacation so we couldn't record a new episode. Instead, here is the first episode of Tom's side project podcast Did Dat Dude Describe Destroyer?  DDDDD is a show in the vein of U Talking U2 2 Me?, covering the discography of the criminally underappreciated band Destroyer album-by-album. Riley Hopkins (a frequent and beloved Sicko guest) serves as cohost. This episode covers Destroyer's debut album, 1996's We'll Build Them a Golden Bridge. It, uh, well...everyone has to start somewhere. If you like DDDDD, you can follow it with this RSS feed:  https://www.patreon.com/rss/animesickos?auth=w4Z2PFDVM3Ar2W9DvedvnIm7BeNiAB6_&show=2322848

Folks, we're not joking: You have to become a snob. People have gotten way too comfortable foisting awful b******t on us, confident we are just gonna sit there and take it as every part of the world gets worse. We must become annoying, mean snobs! People need to be afraid of sucking ass and doing things that are awful! Change starts with you!

We had a topic ready to go after we ran through some quick bullet points, but uh oh! The bullet points took an hour! We discuss the awful manga Kengan Omega, sardines, bike helmets, and the incredible comic Swan Boy. If you like the two of us chattin' and jawin', this one is a classic!

We're back! Sorry for the delay, Joe was getting his arm put back on, a monumental occasion detailed in our new (hopefully) one-time-only segment "Arm Talk."  Thanks to the great Branson Reese for playing Johnny Appleseed in our cold open sketch!

The Anime Sickos go on and on about The Wire, a classic of the golden age of TV that still hasn't gotten the recognition it deserves. We rectify this injustice by designing what The Wire needed all along: an official Game Boy Advance tie-in game full of Wario Ware-style minigames.

In the world of two guys standing next to each other, no one cuts a more iconic and stunning profile than the Anime Sickos. Therefore, when one sees two things next to each other, the question always becomes: is this us? The Sickos review a variety of pictures of two things and finally answer whether or not that's us.

The Sickos try to talk about how awful it is to be ruled over by nine cloaked wizards who every month or so put out a new law about how racism is now mandatory, but almost immediately start talking about Disney Quest and Six Flags. Do you guys remember that f****d up Jetsons-ass ferris wheel they had

The Sickos read a true story about a kid who met a real vampire and believe it unreservedly. When you hear us talk about it you'll agree! Then, we rank more game mechanics and in doing so accidentally create a political philosophy that, if implemented, would save the world and render it a perfect paradise. Classic Sickos!

The Sickos welcome Magenta Geist, musician and Tom's co-star on the audio drama series The Disappearances of Lydia Fountayne (new episodes begin releasing on June 21st 2026)! We talk about what it was like to be two of the three main characters on the show (fun), whether you should listen to the show (yes), and if Magenta's music kicks ass (does). Check it out!! The Sickos discuss "Fear," the famous emotion you have when a guy pops out and goes bleeeehhh. What is fear? What does it mean to be spookified? Our wide-ranging discussion finally answers these age-old questions and more.

The Sickos have recently utilized their powerful brains to increase their quality of life even in the face of unemployed loserdom and are here to share their findings with you. Plus, we list the six best new characters that a new Smash Brothers game must feature. This one is a classic folks

The Sickos watched Park Chan-wook's 2025 movie No Other Choice, a movie about loser husbands with no jobs. Personally we think it is extremely rude that we were not cast in a movie based on our lives but whatever, we don't speak Korean. This movie is insanely funny and f****d up, Sickos fans cannot miss it
