Death is inevitable in this world and in the case of film, there's no easy way around it. However, there are a few ways that you can make an impact when it comes to death in films, and deciding to show it or not can create a whole mood or convey emotion like none other. As always we wanna know some situations in movies you think works better as we tell you about them or decide to show you instead of the power of offscreen vs onscreen deaths in films.

Once you realize the world is a joke it really is that easy to be a comedian. After vigilantes are outlawed, a few remaining heroes band together to solve who has murdered one of their own while also trying to stop armageddon from occurring between nations. This is Zack Snyder at his absolute best, providing a different kind of superhero film that needed a change drastically in this time frame. From the character development, all the way to the overall storytelling of this film, this was something special in a time we didn't know we needed it, and it proves that the times they are a-changin'.

"Finish-out strong" is a term that comes to mind when you think of how films should end, either something satisfying or something ambiguous to leave you thinking. The problem sometimes is that you can have a film that is compelling but falls flat on its face at the end. It's a rare occurrence but there are those times and with that, we wanna know some of your choices as we start out strong and fumble at the end with good movies but with bad endings. 

The grieving process is hard enough when you lose a loved one but it could become terrifying when there may be an evil entity in your home. Beth struggles to accept her husband's suicide when she travels down a rabbit hole of what drove him to it. This film really excels when it comes to playing on insecurities, utilizing negative space and optical illusion, and creating a story that leaves you wondering the entire time. If you haven't seen this one it's definitely a good time to check it, but remember to trick it and don't listen to it. 

In the world that we live in, by now it is nearly impossible or close to it to create a film that is 100% original. There are some films that triumph in this with years of research and direction but when that's too hard you can always make a sequel. Sequels can either bring new life into a series or make you wish they never came out, and today we are talking about those films. As always we wanna know some of those remakes you can't stand as we CGI, cut out, or completely change what happened in unnecessary sequels.

Perfection is a concept that is truly unobtainable and when you mix a bad mental state with it, it gets way worse. Today we follow the story of Nina as she finally is picked as the lead in a ballet production, only for her to slowly go insane blending reality and insanity together. A film that does such a great job of altering the world around you that even you are curious about what is going on, uses camera movements with the music to create a very unique experience. This is definitely one of those movies that come around once in a while, just make sure not to stab yourself watching it 

One of the many reasons we watch movies is for the simple fact of rewatchability for the ones we love. However, there are those films out there that while some may be good, bad, or downright disturbing, have this "X factor" that makes you feel like you never wanna watch them again. Today we talk about those films and at the same time wanna know some that you feel the same way about as we open this door and then never think or talk about them again in films we can only watch once.

Noone said robbing banks was an easy task, no one ever expects to become an entertainment spectacle in a matter of hours either. Sonny and Sal are partners robbing a bank when things go south and it becomes a hostage situation, what follows is a rollercoaster as everyone involved become more than just leverage. A film that tackles racial profiling, freedom of speech, LGBTQ rights, and the class system would usually never be thought to be in a film like this yet we get something special that has so many layers to it. If you haven't seen this one before, you are in for a treat, just make sure you check the getaway car first.

Death and taxes are the only two things in this world that are guaranteed, taxes aren't always as memorable when it comes to movies though. Today we talk about those scenes in film that left your jaw dropped or even emotionally scarred after watching. As always we wanna know some of your favorites as we fall out of a building, get hacked to pieces, or sacrifice ourselves to save the planet from an asteroid in some of our favorite impactful deaths in film.

There are a few things in this world that are worth fighting for, some would say country, others family but it gets a little tricky when it's a choice between the two. In this film, we follow Sam who is presumed dead while touring in Afghanistan, meanwhile Tommy a screwup takes care of his family back home. This is one of those films that has a powerful message that kind of just loses itself within it, never really capitalizing on big moments. That being said the moments that you do have feel powerful and if nothing else Tobey Maguire is a star in this making you believe the line "he doesn't deserve you"

The small guest appearance of a character or actor can be something that sparks controversy, creates future roles or is just a fun comedy act. Today we take a look at some of these small 5 minute scenes that can create a memorable moment even in the most mundane films. In the timeframe of 2019 when some big films such as The Lighthouse, Jojo Rabbit, and Doctor Sleep arrived it was easy to forget about a realistic cop film in the works. Today we talk about that as we follow Brett and Tony as detectives who are suspended for 6 weeks and in order to make money must rob the robbers. A film that can be described as "painfully long" is not without a rhyme and reason as it is a very true depiction of cop work that throws a twist in the only way S. Craig Zahler knows how. Once you see what happens by the end, you'll also be yelling "anchovies"
