The Grip of Grace – Week 5When Your Perspective Wrestles (Psalm 73) Sometimes the greatest struggle in our faith is not what we are going through but how we are seeing it. Psalm 73 shows us that God uses our wrestling to reshape our perspective. As we honestly bring our struggles to Him, step into His presence, and surrender to His sovereignty, He begins to shift how we see our lives and our circumstances. What once felt confusing becomes clear, and what once felt unstable finds security in Him.

There are moments in life when hope feels distant and everything seems uncertain. The resurrection of Jesus speaks directly into those moments. When life feels like Saturday, caught between loss and what feels unresolved, Sunday reminds us that Jesus is alive and still at work. In this message, we see how remembering His promises, reframing our perspective, and receiving His resurrection hope can transform despair into confidence. Because of Jesus, hope is never gone, even when it feels like it is.

The Grip of Grace – Week 4When Your Prayers Wrestle (Luke 22:39–46) Prayer is the arena where you wrestle with God. In the garden, Jesus shows us what it looks like to bring our deepest struggles before the Father with honesty and surrender. As we pray privately, transparently, submissively, and watchfully, we discover that God meets us in the middle of our wrestling and gives us the strength we need. Prayer does not remove the struggle, but it draws us closer to the One who sustains us through it.

When Your Faith Wrestles (Job 3) Faith often grows strongest when it has to wrestle. In Job’s suffering we see that real faith is not the absence of pain or questions. It is the willingness to bring both honestly before God. Job shows us how to wrestle through lament, bold questions, and humble trust in God’s wisdom. Even when answers are unclear, God is present in the struggle, shaping endurance and drawing us into a deeper relationship with Him.

The Grip of Grace – Week 1Wrestled by Grace (Genesis 32:24–32) God does not withdraw from our wrestling. He steps into it with us. In Jacob’s story we see that God meets us in our loneliness, marks us with reminders of His grace, and transforms us through the struggle. What feels like a battle can become the place where God reshapes our identity and deepens our dependence on Him. The place of your greatest wrestling can become the place where grace grips you and makes you new.

When we hide from God, we miss His heart. From the garden to our own lives, fear, control, and mistrust cause us to cover up rather than come clean. Yet Scripture reveals a God who seeks, restores, and freely forgives. This message explores why we hide, the coverings we use to protect ourselves, and the freedom that comes when we step into the light of God’s mercy. True joy is not found in concealment, but in confession and the compassion of a God who becomes our safe hiding place.

The grace of Jesus is not reserved for the worthy. It is extended to the undeserving. In Matthew’s story, we see that when grace shows up, it meets us where we are, calls us into something new, and reshapes how we see others. Jesus does more than forgive. He repositions, restores, and invites the unlikely to sit at His table. Grace changes your seat, your story, and your view of who belongs.

Disciple – Week 6“Go” Starts Here (Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:19–20) A disciple does not just gather, grow, and give. A disciple goes. In this message, we are reminded that we are sent people. We are positioned on purpose to make Jesus visible where we already live, work, and interact. As we see our mission, share our story, and step into our sending, we discover that obedience is not measured by distance but by faithfulness. “Go” does not start somewhere else. It starts right where you are.

Giving our first and best to Jesus is not about loss but about alignment. In this message, we look at how disciples practice generosity by giving God priority, guarding their hearts against idolatry, and growing in joyful obedience. What we have belongs to God, has been entrusted to us, and is meant to be used to advance His mission. As our trust in Jesus grows, generosity becomes a natural response of worship and gratitude.

Generosity is not an optional add on to following Jesus. It is a core practice of discipleship. In this message, we see why disciples give their first and best of their time, talents, and treasure to Jesus. Everything we have belongs to Him, has been entrusted to us, and is meant to be used to advance His mission. As we grow in generosity, our hearts are shaped to trust Jesus fully and to live with eternal purpose.

Spiritual growth is not optional for a disciple of Jesus. We grow as we help each other abide with Him. In this message, we see how true growth begins by staying connected to Jesus, committing ourselves to spiritual maturity, and contributing our lives to the good of others. God never designed our faith to be isolated or stagnant. As we abide in Christ and invest in one another, He shapes us into mature disciples who help others do the same.

Disciple – Week 2Why Gathering Together Matters (Acts 2:42–47; Hebrews 10:23–25) We gather to worship God and remember His love for us. In Scripture, gathering with God’s people is not a suggestion but a shaping priority of a disciple’s life. When we choose to gather, we glorify God, ground ourselves in His love, and grow stronger together. This message challenges us to move gathering from a preference to a priority and to see how God uses worshiping together to form our faith week after week.

Disciple – Week 1The Priorities of a Disciple (Acts 2:42–47) What you prioritize, you practice. In Acts 2, we see a clear picture of what shapes the life of a disciple of Jesus. As the early church devoted themselves to gathering, growing, giving, and going, their faith moved from belief into everyday practice. This message invites us to examine what we are prioritizing and how those priorities are forming the rhythms of our lives as followers of Jesus.

The Generosity of Christmas God’s generosity for our deepest need motivates our generosity toward Him and others. In the Christmas story, we see that true generosity is not convenient or transactional. It is costly, received before it is ever given, and it reveals where our allegiance truly lies. As God gives Himself to us in Jesus, we are invited to respond with grateful, open-handed lives marked by worship, trust, and generosity toward others.

Sandcastles – Week 4Grace Rebuilds What Pride Ruins (Daniel 4:34–37) God is faithful to dismantle our pride and rebuild us in His grace. In the final moments of Daniel 4, we see how God restores praise, resets perspective, and rebuilds what pride once destroyed. Nebuchadnezzar’s story reminds us that restoration is never earned. It is a gift of grace from a faithful God who humbles us not to harm us, but to heal and restore us for His glory.
