How was the covenant under Moses part of God's overarching covenant of grace? How did it point forward to Jesus, and how was it fulfilled by him? And what does it have to do with us?

It's impossible to dig deeply into the significance of who Jesus is and what he has done and not talk about Abraham. How can the covenant promises that God makes to Abraham find their fulfillment in Jesus, and what is their place in the greater unfolding of God's overarching covenant of grace?

What does God's dealings with Noah have to show us about his unfolding plan of redemption in the covenant of grace?

In the face of human failure, God promises to give himself to his people: to redeem them from all the wrong of sin and misery and save them through a Redeemer. This promise runs like a thread throughout all of Scripture.

The story of Adam and Eve is so much more than a cautionary tale meant to drive us to obedience. It's the tragic moment at the beginning of the human story that sent us into spiritual darkness and exile. But in the darkness, the light of Jesus shines brighter.

In the gospels, Jesus often speaks of a plan and arrangement between the Father, Son, and Spirit for the salvation of God's people. Theologians have called this the "covenant of redemption." What does this show us about the source of our salvation and how does it lead us to confidence?

What is the concept of "covenant" and how does it help us understand God, ourselves, and Scripture?

Being on mission with Jesus is not about having it all right, having the right motivations, or working as hard as we can.

The gospel is an announcement of a victory that we contribute nothing to but has everything to do with us. What are the promises that become ours through the good news of Jesus?
