Aikman vs Buck🎙️
2026/10/23
Sports fans, buckle up, because this week was a lot. The Colts fired their GM after losing to a Titans team that hadn’t won a game all season, Maryland sent Mike Locksley packing, and the top of the college rankings looks like someone shook a snow globe. Miami is No. 1 for the first time since 2002, BYU is No. 2, and Texas went from No. 1 to No. 19 in two weeks. Alabama lost to Tennessee, Auburn beat Georgia, and Ohio State ended Indiana’s 22-game win streak. Meanwhile the NFC East went a combined 0-6-2 over two weeks, which is somehow a first in NFL history, and we will be roasting them lovingly.
This weekend we’re ready for all of it. The Steelers and Saints play the first regular-season NFL game ever in France, so yes, we’ll be doing croissant-based predictions. The Chiefs visit the Seahawks on Sunday night, the 49ers are now Super Bowl favorites at 6-0, and Ole Miss heads to Austin to take on a Texas team that needs a win badly. Pour a drink, grab a snack, and come argue with us. Strong opinions welcome, correct ones optional.

Upsets, overtime thrillers, and a new #1
Oklahoma toppled top-ranked Texas on Tate Sandell’s walk-off 47-yarder, Georgia won in Tuscaloosa to take over the top spot, and Kentucky won its second straight 35-34 overtime game, this time over LSU. UCLA stunned Oregon but lost Nico Iamaleava for the season, and Indiana’s streak reached 22.
In the NFL, the Bills beat the Rams 37-34 in overtime on Monday night, the 49ers and Vikings stayed perfect, and the Chargers and Dolphins are still winless.
This Saturday, Ohio State visits Indiana in the first top-five game ever at Memorial Stadium, and GameDay heads to Provo for Notre Dame at BYU. Alabama and Tennessee meet on the Third Saturday in October, and Arch Manning faces the heat against Florida. On Sunday, all eyes are on Lamar Jackson’s ankle, plus Cowboys-Packers on Sunday night and a possible Bills trap game in Vegas. We’ve got spreads, totals, and our picks for all of it.

The Pope’s White Sox✝️
2026/10/02
It's October baseball at full boil as we break down all four Division Series: Yankees-Rays is the AL's heavyweight chess match with Cole, Schlittler and the best staff in baseball against Caminero, elite Rays defense and a 55-26 home record, with Judge's calf looming over everything; White Sox-Guardians pits baseball's hottest, loosest team and its worst defense against Messick, Gavin Williams and the AL's best closer; Padres-Brewers is Misiorowski's 1.80 ERA and 252 Ks against the hottest team since late July and the best bullpen in baseball by a mile; and Braves-Dodgers is Sale and a lockdown back-end pen trying to survive four rested Dodger aces and a broken LA bullpen.
In college football we recap a wild weekend with Florida hanging 52 on top-5 Ole Miss behind 302 rushing yards, Alabama's 49-18 demolition, LSU stuffing A&M, Texas surviving Neyland 20-17, and Iowa's walk-off stunner at Michigan, then look ahead to Saturday's slate headlined by unbeaten Alabama at unbeaten Mississippi State in a Russell vs. Taylor Heisman duel, Florida's first real road test at Missouri, Ohio State's nine-year revenge trip to Kinnick against the nation's No. 1 scoring defense, Tennessee-Auburn with Golesh returning to Neyland, and Notre Dame vs. Belichick's UNC.
Then we flip to the NFL: the Jaguars' 35-6 demolition of New England, Denver's Sunday-night comeback over the Rams, Lamar's walk-off 56-yarder in Rio, and the Raiders dropping 35 in New Orleans, plus our full Week 5 preview featuring unbeaten Chiefs at unbeaten Raiders for the AFC West, Broncos at 49ers in a Purdy vs. Surtain chess match, two reeling contenders in Rams-Eagles, Burrow vs. Lawrence in Cincinnati, Maye's turnover crisis against the 3-0 Bills, a desperate Cowboys-Texans bowl, a primetime Goff vs. Young shootout in Carolina, and Penix vs. Shough on an emotional MNF in the Superdome. Picks, storylines, and why each team can win or lose. Let's get into it!
Mommy My Hammy Hurts 🦵
2026/09/25
The SEC welcome wagon is rolling out the orange carpet in Knoxville, where No. 1 Texas and Arch Manning march into Neyland Stadium to face No. 14 Tennessee and their undefeated true freshman quarterback. Out west, No. 20 Oregon and No. 12 USC renew their rivalry with real playoff stakes on the line as Dante Moore tries to keep pace with Jayden Maiava's electric Trojan offense.
Down in the Swamp, No. 4 Ole Miss walks in fresh off ruining Lane Kiffin's Oxford return, ready to test if an undefeated No. 21 Florida team is a mirage or a monster. Over in Death Valley, Kiffin's No. 10 LSU and Mike Elko's No. 23 Texas A&M are both licking their wounds in a desperation bowl. If you like offense, look away from Ann Arbor, where No. 17 Iowa and No. 18 Michigan are preparing for a classic Big Ten rock fight. And if your ears are ringing, blame Starkville because Mississippi State fans are aiming for a cowbell attendance record to welcome No. 19 Missouri.
Sunday’s NFL slate isn't playing nice either, taking the drama all the way to Rio de Janeiro. Dak Prescott just shredded the record books and now his Cowboys have to keep pace with Lamar Jackson at the Maracanã as the Ravens try to avoid a 1-2 hole. Back stateside, Sunday Night Football gives us a heavyweight clash when Matthew Stafford and the surging Rams strut into Mile High to face Bo Nix’s comeback-minded Broncos.
We close out with some serious prove-it games. Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars are desperately trying to scrape themselves off the mat against a Patriots defense that has allowed just 16 points all year. Finally, the Saints march back into the Superdome with actual swagger as Tyler Shough tries to prove his game-winning heroics weren't a fluke against Kirk Cousins and an upstart 2-0 Raiders squad. Buckle up and grab your betting slips…we’ve got historic road trips, international shootouts, and enough bad blood to keep the drama cranking all weekend long.

The Slap 👋
2026/09/18
Friday night lights get personal in Lubbock, where No. 22 Houston rolls into Texas Tech territory riding a run game that's bulldozed everything in its path. The Red Raiders haven't lost to the Cougars since the first Bush administration was in office, and they're not exactly rolling out the welcome mat. Then Saturday cranks the drama to eleven. Lane Kiffin struts back into Oxford wearing purple and gold, ESPN's GameDay cameras rolling, ready to find out if his old flame Ole Miss can forgive and forget, or if he's about to get run out of town twice. We're calling it now. This one needs its own tissue box.
But wait, there's more chaos brewing in Charlotte, where West Virginia and Virginia meet for the first time since George W. Bush's first term, both riding two game winning streaks built entirely on cupcakes. Someone's undefeated record is about to meet a real opponent. Meanwhile down in Aggieland, Texas A&M tries to avoid the classic trap game faceplant against Kentucky, complicating things nicely with a defensive coordinator swap where each team's new play caller used to run the other guy's playbook. It's giving "I know your tendencies because I invented them" energy.
Sunday's NFL slate isn't playing nice either. Rodgers and the surging Steelers crash into Foxborough to test a Patriots defense that just humbled its own offense. The Bears' 78 percent of the betting public bandwagon rolls into Soldier Field against a Vikings team that inexplicably owns Chicago's number, and Lamar Jackson's Ravens look to turn the Saints into road kill in Baltimore's home opener. Add in a Texans Bengals measuring stick game where "best defense in football" got embarrassed in week one, and you've got yourself a Sunday.
We close out with MNF's reunion tour. John Harbaugh's feel good Giants, fresh off knocking off Dallas, fly into SoFi Stadium to crash Matthew Stafford's revenge game, and Aaron Donald might just un-retire on national television because 2026 wasn't chaotic enough already. Buckle up, grab your betting slips, and tune in. We've got storylines, grudges, statement games, and at least one guy trying to prove his ex, a football program, made a huge mistake.

Week 2 College Football Round Table
2026/09/11
On this week's show Massey is joined by Daniel Stelling and Troy Zieman to talk this week's packed College Football Slate. We have a Top 5 matchup between No. 1 Ohio State vs No. 4 Texas in Austin in primetime! Alabama is on the road in Kentucky and let's say this part out loud. Kamario Taylor from Mississippi State is about to have a coming out party against Minnesota on the road.
We also go over last week's Michigan debacle. Can Sark call plays in the redzone? Does Arch Manning silence the doubters and haters? Does Kentucky interior line beat Alabama's interior line? So many questions answered here on 89.1 KHOL
Stay in Your Lane🐯
2026/09/04
This week we're diving deep into the NFL's toughest gauntlet with a full breakdown of the AFC and NFC West heading into 2026. Can Mahomes return from a torn ACL in time to save Andy Reid's Chiefs after their worst season in his tenure? Does Mike McDaniel finally unlock Justin Herbert's playoff ceiling in LA? We track Bo Nix and a stacked Broncos roster looking to get over the hump, a Raiders team leaning on Kirk Cousins while No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza develops.
And then onto a loaded NFC West where Stafford's Rams add Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffie, Purdy's Niners try to stay healthy with Mike Evans in the fold, and defending champ Seattle tries to run it back without several key defensive pieces.
Plus, we preview a spicy Week 1 college football slate; Ole Miss-Louisville, Clemson-LSU, SMU-Florida State, Wisconsin-Notre Dame at Lambeau, and Miami-Stanford, with picks, storylines, and players to watch for every game.
Meanwhile in sports drama, we cover the bizarre case of Daejon Love, the 35-year-old accused of posing as a 49ers wide receiver to scam more than two dozen women out of over $1.3 million. And we close things out with a look back at one of the wildest tampering scandals in league history: the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard saga, which cost the franchise five first-round picks and a $30 million fine.

The Dolly Parton Bridge 🌉
2026/08/28
This week on TST, we say goodbye to Dallas Cowboys great Dolly Parton. A timeless cheerleader that retired at 77 and sadly passed away at 80. After that, we get right into the controversy and conspiracies surrounding Jed York, NFL players transferring back to College Football, LIVE Golf, Mark Walter, and Deshaun Watson. What a bunch of asshats!
Oh, duh...it's Week Zero baby and the Hoos host the Wolfpack in C'Ville. We get into the weeds about UVA Football 2026 and the chances we'll build on a program best 11 win season. We also breakdown Belichick in Dublin and whether or not he makes it back to UNC as their Head Coach.
Are the Browns too stacked at QB? Will Rodgers and McCarthy fight each other in Pittsburgh?? Is Burrow too cool??? And was John Harbaugh the problem in Baltimore????

The Garage Episode
2026/08/21
This week on TST Massey is broadcasting live from his garage with his brother Troy to give you the hottest takes gong into this year's college football season. We go through the Top 10 AP poll to give you conference favorites and sleepers.
Despite no notes and no script this duo was able to produce the most accurate breakdown of what to expect from this upcoming college fotball season. Enjoy!
The Soul of the City 🌆
2026/08/14
This week on TST, Trainor finally opens up about the fallout from Tony Romo's DUI arrest and discusses whether CBS should demote him to lesser NFC East games or bring in Greg Olsen. We also cover the arrest of an 87-year-old Pennsylvania man running a sports book out of his retirement home library, an ESPN employee accused of embezzling fantasy football winnings, and rumors involving Brad Pitt gambling on Little League tournaments.
Meanwhile in the NFC North, we're bullish on the Lions and Bears, skeptical of the Vikings' Kyler Murray over J.J. McCarthy decision, and lukewarm on the Packers given Micah Parsons' ACL recovery timeline. And who will win the Max Crosby sweepstakes? Detroit or Dallas??!??
In the huddle, we cover Drew Brees' Hall of Fame induction and Saints legacy, the Spurs GM admitting to tanking for Wembanyama on Hard Knocks, the Lakers' $12.5 billion sale to Josh Kushner and Bob Iger amid Mark Walter's federal investigation, and the ongoing FIFA World Cup private equity controversy. We finish up by dissecting the Jayden Daniels-LSU dispute over his #5 and Heisman Trophy. Mommy's dearest!

Romo’s Drunk
2026/08/06
This week…the Coaches Poll is here and we weigh in on the top 5. Then we shift gears to the AFC South. Where do the Titans, Colts, Jags, and Texans stand? Tennessee brought in Daboll to figure out their young offense. Indy is mid and don’t see them moving the needle. Jacksonville is a polarizing team between Massey and G. And the Houston? Well they are the clear favorite in this division. But that depends on whether or not CJ Stroud can improve.
The MLB Trade Deadline came and went with the Dodgers, of course, landing the grand prize of Tarik Skubal. Is baseball doomed? Probably not but if LA wins a third World Series, we’ve got a problem.
Could Bronny become daddy’s Executive Assistant in Philly? Does Harrison Bader hate the San Francisco Fire Department?? Will Ryan Day’s beard show grays??? And can Aaron Rodgers retire already????

The LeBrOdyssey 🛶
2026/07/24
Folks, buckle up, the summer sports world's on fire. LeBron's still a free agent, longer than his last three combined, with Miami the favorite but Cleveland, Philly and Golden State lurking.
The World Cup final's still the talk of the town, but nobody's discussing soccer, it's all about the postgame brawl, Argentina snubbing Spain's trophy lift, and FIFA's investigation, with Messi sitting alone watching it all. NFL camps are opening league-wide, the Saints locked up Alvin Kamara, and in golf, Ryan Fox stole The Open while Scottie Scheffler missed the cut as defending champ.
Meanwhile, SEC Media Days wrapped in Tampa, headlined by Ole Miss' Pete Golding using Lane Kiffin's messy exit as a recruiting weapon.
And in the NFC East, every team's got a question mark, Washington leans on Jayden Daniels staying healthy, the Giants are banking on a Jaxson Dart leap, Dallas pairs an elite line with the league's worst defense, and Philly's Nick Sirianni needs his new OC to fix that offense fast.
England Messi’s Their Trousers
2026/07/17
This week on the podcast, it’s officially Bison Goring Season! We have the tossing of a grandpa in suspenders, 8 feet into the air, with a flawless dismount. And he wasn’t even a touron. Exciting stuff this deep into July.
In World Cup news, we’re down to the final two teams: Spain vs Argentina. Spain hasn’t allowed a goal. Argentina can’t be denied. We’re in for an epic match on Sunday in New Jersey, to crown a champion. And yes, Donald will be in attendance. Which team will he jinx?
As for the AFC East, yikes. The Dolphins are a dumpster fire and the Jets are terrible. We predict it will again be a Bills v Pats division, but not the win totals we saw in 2025.
Will Kawhi stand trial for Groot-gate in the US or Canada? Was this the final MLB All-Star game?? Is LeBron going to the Senior PGA Tour??? And will Caitlin Clark run for the presidency in 2028????

Oh No! We Suck Again!
2026/07/10
This week we vent about a rough week in “soccer” as Christian Pulisic and Matt Freese poop the bed in Seattle. Then we preview the quarterfinal matchups. Spain vs. Belgium, Norway vs. England, and Argentina vs. Switzerland.
With NFL training camps just eight days away, we break down the Falcons' messy QB battle and Todd Bowles' hot seat in Tampa. We say goodbye to Bryce Young and crown the Saints as NFC South Champs.
Next up, we roast the Big 12 for getting totally fleeced in their new Monster Energy jersey patch deal, look back at the U.S. World Cup history, and wrap up with Chestnut's 388k calories consumed over the course of his Fourth of July hot dog eating career.
Will LeBron go to the Sixers? Will LeBron go to the Cavs?? Will LeBron go to the Warriors??? Will LeBron go to the Heat???? Will LeBron go to the Cowboys????? Will LeBron go to the Crimson Tide??????

Happy 250th Sports Fans! 🌭
2026/07/03
This week on the show, we breakdown a big week of World Cup and NBA Offseason.
Big week on both fronts. The World Cup Round of 32 had some real chaos. Germany's penalty-shootout exit to Paraguay was the headline upset, and Morocco knocked out Netherlands on penalties as well. Canada edged South Africa late, Mexico rolled past Ecuador to set up a clash with England, and the USA looked sharpest of the three hosts in a 2-0 win over Bosnia. Belgium survived extra time against Senegal, France cruised behind a Mbappé brace, and Brazil needed a stoppage-time winner to get past Japan. Spain handled Austria easily, staying near the top of the odds board behind France and Argentina.
On the NBA side, the offseason escalated quickly. Giannis-to-Miami was the biggest domino, and it set off a chain reaction: Kawhi Leonard landed in Toronto, LaMelo Ball joined Minnesota in a surprising trade with the Hornets. But nothing could prepare us for Jaylen Brown to the Sixers. And not just the rivalry of it all, the fact it was for Paul George. Paul…George. The big remaining question is the LeBron decision 4.0. Golden State looks like the frontrunner, with Cleveland, Miami, Denver, and Philly also entering the chat.
